Sorry i just tried something else and now it works. i turned off the "Quicker" Encode for Extras and now it works. Hope this helps.

When you change to quicker extras it moves the shortest clips to the top so it's almost always going to change the original numerical order in how it encodes. Are you sure it encoded VID_00385 successfully?

Yes, like i said once i unchecked Quicker Encodes for Extras it started working fine, infact its running right now.

@jdobbs;
Can you give me some exact instructions that could make it repeat?
This is the disc and error I received which seems to be similar to MILLZY.
I have now received this error on both v0.20.05 and v0.20.06. BD-RB does not seem to want to direct stream copy a VC-1, 29.97fps, 1080i. I used the "MIN_M2TS_SIZE=14000" switch so not to reencode the file, and the crash happens just when it starts copying this file. It reencodes and rebuilds the VC-1, 23.976fps, 1080P file, which is the only one I have set to reencode, and it is the largest .m2ts. This is a full movie backup of Terminator 3 to BD-25.

@MILLZY;
This error seems to be a similar error code as to the one I posted above at #2623, but yours appears to be on the rebuilding of the reencoded files. My error was on a direct stream copy of a file that was not reencoded. Hopefully jdobbs will be able to nail this one down since more people are reporting this type of problem.Direct stream copy? Explain please.

Ive come across this when you set the min m2ts high enough to only encode the main m2ts this first came apparant on the dark knight that only had about 5GB of extras but after some playing about I found it happened on pretty much every title where the extras were just a small part of the disc and therefore could be skipped by setting the min m2ts

But they might be a part of another (not the MAIN MPLS) that has a component part that is being encoded. For example: suppose you have a very short section that is added to the end of the main MPLS... and it is also added to the end of several other shorter MPLSs. Then it has to be encoded (because it is in the MAIN) and so do all the others (because it is a component part of each of them).
I have "300" on my hard drive. Tell be what I need to do to see what problem you're describing?
I'm starting to think it might be better to just throw away the MIN setting and reencode everything. But then I have to find another way to get around those hybrid VC-1 streams. Even if I set it so you can choose them, though, you can't say "don't encode this section" if it is a component part of another MPLS that has any part of it encoded.
This is a tough nut to crack.
I've taken in what you're saying and it is a tough nut to crack for sure. But this is a serperate issue, of course that is just what I *think*. If you have the film "300" you should be able to repeat it by loading the "300" film, setting BD25 output and full disc mode...Then setting min m2ts to 4000-Any number.
You will find that the main movie m2ts is there (25GB VC1 23.976p with TrueHD\LPCM\other stuff)
You will also find 10-12 extra m2ts that are part of their own mpls they are about 200-300mb each and are 480i 29.97 with just a big load of Dolby Digital 2.0 for audio.
There is no way these are part of the same m2ts...
...Again, I think :)
Cheers for looking into it.

Direct stream copy? Explain please.
I was only reencoding the one .m2ts, so I believed it was just copying the remaining .m2ts files directly as they are on the original disc. Maybe that is not the correct way of phrasing it.
The reason I tried this was this disc has 2 main .m2ts files. The first, 00001.m2ts is the main movie with 6 audio tracks and 4 subtitle tracks. BDInfo reports it as a VC-1, 1080i, 29.97fps. The second .m2ts, 00002.m2ts is basically the same as the first 00001.m2ts except BDInfo reports it as VC-1, 1080P, 23.976fps. It has only 1 audio track and no subtitle tracks. It is the main movie with an occasional pop up window with the director and actors comments. This pop up window is not a seperate .m2ts but part of the encoding of this 00002.m2ts. For some reason, whether I try to do a full backup or movie only backup of this movie, the audio goes out of sync for the main 00001.m2ts file. The second .m2ts, which I would not want for a movie only backup since it has the pop up window with the director and actor comments, does keep perfect audio sync though. So, since the second 00002.m2ts file is larger than the first 00001.m2ts file, I believed by using the Min_M2TS switch would only reencode the second .m2ts file and leave the first alone and just copy it, thus keeping the audio in sync, since the original is in sync. However, that is where the "DoEncoding()" error happens. The only reencoded file, 00002.m2ts was created and rebuilt, and there is a new 00002.m2ts and clpi file in the Workfiles folder, but the crash prevents all the rest of the untouched .m2ts files from being copied/recreated in there original state.
EDIT
Though this does not contribute to the problem of the "DoEncoding" error, this is what I did to ultimately make a perfectly in sync movie only backup.
@datman;
The problem seems to be the original authoring of this movie was a VC-1 29.97fps, 1080i (I corrected my typo above of 21.97). The original plays back just fine, but for some reason, after reencoding with BD-RB, the audio goes out of sync. BDInfo reports both the original and reencoded BD-RB as 29.97fps, but the audio is behind the video and gradually gets a longer delay further into the movie. So I ran TsMuxer on the original .m2ts file and it allowed me to select "change fps" and "remove pulldown", which I did and selected 24000/1001, and then selected to create a new Blu-ray disk. This now played back in sync. I then used BD-RB to create a movie only backup, and then the audio was in sync as well as the subs. I also tried a manual backup of the .m2ts file with MeGui to create the .x264 and TsMuxer to rebuild, and the results were also a success. However, I could not create a successful full movie backup this way since I was not able to change/substitute the original 29.97fps .m2ts file with the newly created and in sync 23.976fps .m2ts, and keep the working menu after the substitution of the clpi files from the new bluray creation. I tried with BDEdit and CLIPINF_Editor_v0.04b, but my lack of knowledge in this area prevents me from making the necessary changes to fix the broken pointers I made from changing the frame rate.

Full back up to Bd 25 of Max Payne doesn't work, it does exactly the same as what a lot of my back ups from over the last 3 months do, Loads fine, plays extras fine, hangs when selecting play movie, i originally only encountered this problem on a lot of universal titles, but now it doesn't seem to be such an exclusive problem. i keep my BD Rebuilder and tools upto date, and i would definatley say that about 40% of the films i try exhibit this problem, and i know that other people have the same problems has i do with the same films....?

Not sure what happened between 20.05 & 20.07 but the movie only convert no longer auto loads & plays on my Panasonic BD55 player. They do play on the PS3 but only manually loading the stream & they used to auto play. Settings are the same on both versions someone mention the auxdata folder might be missing but it there so not sure what has changed and am going back to 20.05.

I Believe it’s because of tsMuxer 1.9.9 now used in BD_RB. BD_RB is using the BD output mode of tsMuxer. The output needs to be set to AVCHD mode otherwise it is will not play on Panny SAP’s. Run the final output project of BD_RB back through tsMuxer but set the output mode to AVCHD.

It’s not a setting in BD_RB but an option for the output of tsMuxeR since v1.8.35. You need to run the ouput project files of your BD_RB project back through tsMuxer v1.9.9 using the tsMuxer GUI application standalone from BD_RB

Just wanted to post my experience with the current and last release of BD RB.
I have gotten the same error as others on here with the no Movie Only encode allowed on the previous release(20.06).
I also have tried to do Full Movie encode with both versions and they both have locked up my PC at about 6%-7% on every attempt's Total Progress.
This never happened to me before with any version of BDRB, even while browsing the internet and encoding at the same time.
I tried two movies that have come out recently-BABYLON A.D. and NOTORIOUS and both have frozen my PC.
I run a Vista 64bit Ultimate OS with 8GB RAM and multiple SATA hard drives(internal and external).
No other stuff going on in the background; not even torrents because I use a seedbox now.
Here is my config file...maybe someone can tell me what's up:

Are you saying all Movie-Only encodes should be set to AVCHD now? Any impact on other players?
--avchd is like the old --bluray except it removes the empty folders as well.
The problem with --avchd in 1.9.9 is it doesn't output AUXDATA directory which denon and phillips BD players need. A solution is to either make that directory when strict avchd setting is disabled or you could use tsmuxer 1.10.1 which outputs AUXDATA directory in --avchd mode.
PS3 and some Panasonics have trouble with --bluray output on DVD see here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146339) for results that have been gathered with that switch.

I just tried another universal title, Bourne Supremicy (EUR).
Just like all other Universal title I tried (Bourne Identity, Hellboy 2), The main movie does not start in full backup mode.
After pressing "play movie" the screen stays black.
I too am having lots of problems with Universal Titles, and some Dreamworks titles which are essentially Universal, get the same probs as you either on Power DVD 8.0 or Panasonic BD-30, i have left them trying to load on power dvd for up to an hour....
I was hoping, the latest BD-RB version fixed this problem, but it does not.
Tried "The mummy 3", problem stayed.

Just curious regarding this change in v0.20.06, is it referring to the problem of the original HD LPCM audio still being reencoding to 5.1 Dolby, when the option to keep HD audio is enabled?
Thanks

Cheers for looking into it. Well, I have to correct myself. I went through the code -- and the way that I had done the multi-part MPLS check was incorrect. The result was that any M2TS (regardless of size) was being included if it was a part of a multipart MPLS (even if none of the parts were large enough to force a "keep").
I've fixed it for the next version.

i noticed that too, i did one title using .07 and it resulted in copy that only works by selecting actual stream from bd\stream folder.
later i did it again using ver. 05 and same work folder so it only muxed files that were transcoded and it works fine.

Well this is one of the 2 errors I have had several times. I'm trying to encode Davinci code and it just won't do it. It's the error where the video stops but the sound keeps going while the last frame is frozen.
My observation is that the problem occurs during the first pass and if you happen to check on it you will see the speed has increased sharply and the CPU usage has dropped. From that point on the speed remains very fast. In the past when this happened I dust had to re-encode once and it would work.
This dvd, I tried off a fresh ISO rip and a fresh rip to folder both using anydvd. All the ISO attempts the video froze within the first 5 minutes. The folder rip made more that half way before it froze. I’m trying another folder rip maybe it will go all the way.
Oddly with this dvd I can’t even mux it with any tool
I know I’m not the only one having this error.

jdobbs...Just done "300" again and the disc works (TrueHD audio correctly mapped etc etc).
However a single extra does not work, I know you have the disc so if you could try going to the main menu and selecting the 1st extra on the left just below the commentry selection boxes. When I go to play it the screen goes black then just appears again with a still image of the menu background with no text overlay.
This extra wasn't even being encoded in when I did the disc. I suspect this is due to the incorrect handling of the mpls thing that you have changed in the last 06\07 versions.
Could you have a look at that for me please. I tested on both 06\07 with same results.
Every single one of the other extras is working (ones that were encoded and ones that weren't...so that could throw the mpls theory to the wind...)

I had encounter a wierd problem in my last two Movies.
The movies are "The Spirit" and "the incredible Hulk" US.
Using the BD-RB 0.20.07 version, everything works(menu's extra etc..) beside the movie it self which i getting black screen the Player Freezes(pana BD35).
I tried the BD on the PC using PowerDvd and the same.
I did some investigation using the workfile directory:
The original(before BD-RB process) m2ts is working properly.
The movie.h264 in the BD-RB work directory works perfect.
The Sound.dts also works O.K
I tried to mux those together using tsMuxer 1.9.9 to m2ts file and the result was exactly like in the original output from the BD-RB, black screen and player freezes.
I think its because the DTS HD audio.
Is anyone encounter this problem?
And if so what can be done to solve it?

I'm not sure how long ago I did the backup I have now, so I'll have to redo from scratch -- it'll be a few hours before I can give feedback.

@Furiousflea
You mentioned that you think the first extra didn't get reencoded.
1. Did you reencode for BD-25 with MIN_M2TS_SIZE set?
2. If so, what was the setting?

O.K. I did a full convert and a movie only convert with v0.20.07 (witch by the way kicks some serious butt with speed now) but when I went to play in my panasonic standalone player did not work whatsoever, Kept coming up Disk incompatible. made me wonder being I never had a problem before, so I I then tried it without redoing the whole thing over, I just deleted the output dir that I was suppose to burn to disk and replaced the TSMUXER.exe file with the one from v0.20.05 and then let it do a rebuild again and burned that to disk and got no problem at all. So in conclusion I am thinking something is different with the tsmuxer.exe file that was updated, so if you Panny people are having difficulty try that too or just do a manual mux yourself with the newest tsmuxer with the AVCHD setting and try that, I'm not sure but I am thinking that may work too.

1. Yes BD25 default set - not changed.
2. MIN_M2TS_SIZE=4000
(due to bug as you outlined earlier, about 12 mpeg2 m2ts' are still encoded, I believe these are the extras on the right in the menu for the disc).
I went through all the extras on the disc. As I said the 1st one on the left won't play. The rest on the left will and are all in VC1 as expected. The ones on the right are all encoded (they are small little featurette thingys) and appear as AVC.
(according to my Sony BDP-S550).

Tried to do K.Bill1 movie only to a BD25 today. Got "error unable to decode audio" no matter if I selected uncompressed or DD audio in 2.0.7. Went back to 2.0.5 and all works. Any ideas why?

I do these all the time, and the only time I've ever gotten that was when TSMUXER was not functioning correctly or the path pointer (in the INI) to TSMUXER.EXE is wrong. Try a different version of TSMUXER (put it in the TOOLS folder under BD-RB's directory). I'd suggest you try the one from v0.20.05.

Running right now it will take few hours.
I forgot to tell yo it is DTS Master Audio not HD.
I had DTS HD before with no problem.
Those two are my first master Audio backup.
By the way Great S/W and thanks for all the Help.

If this was directed at me I'll try as soon as 2.05 gets done with the encode. I'll report back if that solved the problem.

Just posted a new download link on the first post of this thread for another update (BD-RB v0.20.08). Here are the changes for this version:- Corrected source of "DoEncoding() 76 4" error.
- Corrected an error in which some files were being
incorrectly reencoded even though they were smaller
than the MIN_MT2S_SIZE parameter (BD-25 only). Note
that there may still be (and should be) times when
files smaller than MIN_M2TS_SIZE are encoded (when
included in an MPLS than also has a larger M2TS).
- Changed processing so that now selecting "Stricter
AVCHD Compliance..." in the SETUP menu now sets the
"--avchd" flag for TSMUXER.
- Updated TSMUXER.EXE to the latest release (v1.10.1).
- Improved error handling and identification system.
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.

Help with Sin City. Trying to do a BD-25 movie only with HD audio (DTS HD MAster). When I hit "Back-up", I get an error code that it can't extract the audio. Any ideas?

Sounds like a decoding error could you cut a short clip of that frame that froze and upload it to sendspace or mediafire?
I'm guessing I had a problem ripping the movie, because I was also unable to run tsmuxer from either rip or iso-rip. I just ran tsmuxer off the disc and it worked fine. Tonight I will try encoding it again:thanks:

@jdobbs;
Is the DoEncoding() 76 4 error a different error than DoEncoding() 00052 3 ? I will try this new release on Terminator 3 again, however I do not believe it is related in any way to the other issue I had with this movie, which was the audio going progressively more and more out of sync with the video as the movie plays.( post # 2633 and # 2635 three pages back).

Sounds like a decoder error, more than likely interlaced VC-1. Can you cut a little part 00240.m2ts and upload it to sendspace or mediafire?
I could. How do I do that though?

I am going to try the newest version and see what happens with that. Then if I have the same issue, and someone could explain to me about sending/uploading the small piece of the file, I would be glad to!

Same error I got with 2.07 trying to do KBill1 movie only. Retried with 2.05 and it worked fine.
What version are you using?

Movie only mode still only plays on a handful of players and strict avchd option no longer does what it used to do.
To get it back to how it was, which worked well, with the latest tsmuxer builds use --avchd for both movie only modes.
Make BDMV/JAR and BDMV/META directories when strict avchd is disabled (this may not make a difference).
Delete BDMV/AUXDATA directory when strict avchd is enabled.
720p subs are still completely unusable and stripped streams aren't removed from mpls files so accessible by some players.
