Same problem at the same spot, wondering if there is a problem with the disc at this point. I ripped it with AnyDVD and it worked fine.

The audio on the movie is out of sync and does not match up with scenes. i can't even make out what is being said. also the org. rip with anydvdhd plays fine. I'll take a look at it -- but having seen "Observe and Report" I might want to call this a hidden feature. You may end up thanking BD Rebuilder for saving you an hour and a half of your life.

Thanks for the new version
Ya I've still been keeping up with that database and while the audio formats matter in powerdvd/windvd, empty directories have a lot more to do with playability as weird as it sounds.
A wild guess but could the newly reported freeze problems have something to do with x264's --slices or new --nal-hrd implementation as opposed to tsmuxer's nal-hrd?
Also any news on BDSup2Sub? TSMuxer sub resizing success rate is decresing greatly for me on newer titles. I'm not going to use it. I don't want a dependency on the java engine built it. I'm in the process of writing my own code to resize the subtitles -- it's almost done.

anyway sorry for the offstopic! It's could be called "Paul Blart, Mall Cop II" -- it's hard to believe that two studios could come up with the same terrible idea at almost the same time.
Too bad -- I normally like Seth Rogen.

Hey,
Using a BD25 setting for resizing my blue ray. I have tried BD-25 and Custom size. The encoding is working, but i am getting total movie size of 5-10GB from a 30+GB original file. I feel that it should be a little closer to 22GB... Anyways u have tried encoding full movie and movie only. Also tried highest quality instead of high with same results. Also tried 3 different BD's.

The audio on the movie is out of sync and does not match up with scenes. i can't even make out what is being said. also the org. rip with anydvdhd plays fine.
in my experience, ive rebuild alot of movies that had audio sync issues, i found out that it was the rip, when i looked at the properties of all the movies i did with audi sync issues they were ripped on the same day and i remember ripping with my laptop onto an external hdd with external BD burner, then i just re ripped it with the burner in my pc connected via sata and the rebuild came out fine. Off topic question: jdobbs, are you able to rebuild every BD movie with your PC?

I experienced a similar error with KNOWING (region 2).
BD-RB did for some reason include the studio intro logo as video BUT did not add the soundstream of that logo.
Instead the audio from the main title started with the intro and so the entire film was completely out of sync.

I have a similar problem with Fast_Furious. Using BD version 03002, the original m2ts is 26G when run through encoding to BD25, the main movie is now 6G. I tried an earlier version but something keep crashing on my system and causing a reboot and BSOD.
Quite strange, first time it's ever happened. Not at home so can't post log or last cmd.

Hmmm, yea i was able to fully copy movies on older versions to 20-23GB, but that is on my other computer so i did not want to relate it to the problem on this computer.

I am using the same computer, Vista with an i920 x64. The earlier versions did not compress the main movie quite so much. The extras when looking at them are only compressed by ~10-20%, while the main is compressed about 450%. I did a back up of State of Play, Kill Bill 02 and Watchmen using 02905 and everything was normal.
I do not have any extra settings, just using whatever BDRB comes with when loading up. Only thing I do is select the output BD25 a working directory and let it go.

If you experience an undersize -- please send or post in a zip:
1. The .INF and .INI file.
2. The log file (complete).
3. The .stats file of the main movie.
4. Any special settings of "unusual" processing.
Otherwise I can't help, and it's a waste of a post to report it.
Thanks.
Hundreds of encodes... and not a single undersize from my end... what are you doing differently?

The only issue I personally can confirm right now is if I try to do a 1280x720 resize. There is an problem in which TSMUXER bombs when trying to resize some SUPs. I'm fixing that by resizing it myself.

I am out of town right now, if someone hasn't posted this information before my return later this week, I will send something.
I too have done, many, maybe not hundreds, and this is the first time I have ever experiened a problem. I don't have anything special added into the .INF file, just installed 03002 and tried Fast Furious, set the output to 25g.
By the way, BDRBv is a great little program. I've used DVDRebuilder for years. One of the best software programs I've ever purchased.

Can someone please tell me how seamless branching disks (like WALL-E) are done correctly with BD Rebuilder?
When choosing "Movie-Only" mode BD Rebuilder shows lots of different videostreams which can not be unchecked or deleted before starting the process.
Even after choosing another main title in the Alternate Playlist menu the other videostreams are still present and cannot be deleted..
Is this some kind of playlist parsing bug?

Is this some kind of playlist parsing bug? No. It's not a bug. It's how BD works. An M2TS can be a part of any of a number of MPLS files. If you remove them, you remove part of the movie. In "WALL-E" it is a language thing. For example, when a page of a book shows up in the movie, and you have chosen the MPLS that represents the French version, the displayed page (during playback) will be in French.

That path name for that output file is just way too long. I've done quite a few searches, and while I've found maybe 2 or 3 posts with similar issues... I haven't seen a workaround yet.
Is there anything I can do to get around this? It looks to me like that is a temporary file so the actual file name probably doesn't matter.

A movie only copy of WALL-E should be a piece of cake... I've copied this movie as movie only, countless times with various versions of BD Rebuilder. Try it with Strict AVCHD checked, AC3 audio at default, and uncheck the subtitles... unless you need them. My copy is from a Region 1 disc.
This movie was problematic for the first few versions, but it wan't too far into the process before it started copying.

Ok so I have to be doing something wrong. I get a runtime error 9 'Subscript out of Range' when i double click to add or remove an audio. I just recently reinstalled my OS. I have installed all the required apps from the first page. Any ideas what i'm missing to cause this?
Edit: I had the wrong setting, this happened with the default setting for BD5/9 - Sorry for that

I used the Matrix Revolutions - It was set to target size BD5 and when I tried to double click any audio/subtitle to remove them i got the run time error.
Just tell me what you want and i'll screen cap and give the ini. I think i can reproduce it.

I agree it's long -- but what makes it "too long?" Unfortunately I'm not sure there's anything I can do about that one because it is created by TSMUXER. I'll look at it.
The file name, " *.dts " is too long. NTFS allows file name up to 255 characters long according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_systems#Limits

Processing the REGION B version of "WALL-E" (Different than the Region A version) has already been discussed at length in the following thread:

Try my suggested test/fix detailed in that thread...
This does work for movie only. Thanks for the tip.

Further to something I mentioned about PS3 "freezing" problems, the following was noted at one of the lesser video-related forums:A class action lawsuit has been launched against Sony for their botched introduction of their latest PS3 firmware, 3.00 and 3.01, both of which have caused freezing and controller related problems.
The firmware updates are mandatory for anyone who wants to play online, and so many people have been forced into updating, only to find that their system freezes, that Blu-ray drive no longer reads any drive, or that their controllers stop working.
Sony will repair all machines for free if it is under warranty, but charges a standard $150 fee for out of warranty repairs, which has angered some users enough for them to sue Sony for 'compensation and restitution for breach of implied warranty.'

Hey, i went back and double checked all my settings since my encodes worked on my other computer. Turns out all i needed to do what update ffdShow to the latest version (from their site) instead of the one listed on page 1. I slightly remember having a problem like that when i set it up on my old computer a few months back. Hope that might also help you!

Further to something I mentioned about PS3 "freezing" problems, the following was noted at one of the lesser video-related forums:
I have to admit that with much trepidation I finally took my new PS3 Slim out of the box, set it up, and updated the firmware to 3.01... Much to my surprise and amazement, everything works perfectly, including games, Blu-Ray and DVD movies, online gaming, and the soon-to-be infamous Playstation Store.
I have since updated the firmware on my other two PS3's and no problems there either. I'm not sure what all the screaming is about, but I have a feeling most of it from those users who think they're smarter than Sony and are hacking away with Linux... which the slim thankfully doesn't even support. The PS3 has always worked well with BD Rebuilder, within the constraints noted early on.

Hi,
I've been using BD Rebuilder for a few months now, but with the dutch retail of Pinocchio I came across an error that I haven't seen in the forum.
I hope someone can help. My OS is win7, all drives are NTFS. I used all quality settings and the new version (and two previous ones as well). The error message is as follows:

No, I didn't do any preprocessing.
Files showing the oddness (re-encoded but not resized):
00002.m2ts (Studio intro)
00125.m2ts (Segment of the main feature). In addition, all audio (DTS) and sups were kept and muxed intact for this segment, instead of being selected and re-encoded to ac3 for audio. It is noted that the 00125.m2ts belongs to the playlist for the "extended version". It is not used for the "theatre version".
The problem (no resizing to 720p and no stripping of audio and sups for mentioned segment) still persists with v0.30.02. Any clue as to why this happens?
I looked at this. 00002.M2TS is not a studio intro, it is a menu background, and it not supposed to resize for that reason. Same for the audio... menu audio is not supposed to be reencoded.
00125.M2TS is not resized because it is not 1920x1080 -- it is 720x480. In my disc, at least, it is not a part of the extended version (it is an extra called "Advertising the Games").
So, at least from what I see, there isn't a bug.

Just to let you know about FFDshow, I used a later version then whats on the main page and all my VC1 BD's re-encoded had stuttered video, ALL of them, this version on the front page gave me flawless encodes of any source. So test it out first if you are going to a newer version.

You just have to be careful and not "upgrade" the minute a new version of FFDSHOW is released -- give it some time. I'm currently using Revision 2857 and am not seeing any problems.

Yes, you are right, it's a (VC-1) menu background. I didn't know that it is not supposed to be resized. So that's ok then, thanks.

Interesting. The 00125.m2ts is a full fledged AVC 1920x1088 video segment here (Region B). It is only used for the playback of a scene of the 'extended version'. Could there be an inconsistency with the playlist? What is the decision to resize - or not - based on?
