Is this the first time you've run it, or has it worked for you before? Sometimes other software changes the settings without telling you. Try uninstalling and reinstalling AVISYNTH, FFDSHOW, and HAALI.
I have tried what I can do, including reinstalling all softwares. And I cannot have a single success on converting....
Planning to try other softwares
Any way thanks!

Hi, I know this is my fault but I left BD Rebuilder to encode to a BD25 size and I ran out of disk space. I just checked the progress and it had come up with an error that it couldn't rebuild because it couldn't find 00102.m2ts. It is there so I cleared some hard drive space and resumed the job but come up with another error. I've changed the encode step to 4 which is the step before 00102.m2ts and deleted the log from 00102.m2ts in the INI. Do I need to move the m2ts files and the clpi files back to the WORKFILES folder to get it to rebuild properly? They're just short videos to encode now.

I would strongly suggest that, given the errors that you are seeing, you should just begin again from scratch. Making sure, of course, that you have sufficient disc space this time, and that means MORE than 25GB (since BDRB has to create working files before writing to the target files).

@ Jonaldinho RE:BD25 size and I ran out of disk space.
This has probably happened to all of us at one time or another. After you make enough room to finish the encode and rebuild (usually at least twice the size of the original BD), you restart BD_Rebuilder and make sure that you have the EXACT SAME setting's that you made the FIRST TIME (playlists, audio and subs and still have the same size output), then you are good to go. BD_Rebuilder will pickup where it left off and rebuild the Bluray structure, if it is only on the re-encoding step it will restart what ever step it was on before it crashed (ie: pass 1 or 2). Good Luck, worknstiff

Thanks, I deleted the main movie encoded .264 file because it had already been muxed into an m2ts file, I always do this and it always works but because there was an error I think I need it now. I'll keep it in future to be safe if there's an error again. So now i've made space by deleting files that aren't related to the project. I have moved all the newly created m2ts files into the STREAM folder. There's the same amount as the original so I just need it to be rebuilt into a Blu-ray file structure. I have copyied everything to the new workpath except the original STREAM folder and I know that at least the clpi files need to be changed so I tried inputting the new structure into BD Rebuilder hoping it would remux and change the clpi files to be compatible but it didn't work because it's expecting other audio streams. Would changing the hidden option 'FIX_MOVIEONLY' to 0 fix this. If not I would start from scratch.

Subtract one from the COMPLETED= entry and you should be able to pick up one file before you hit the issue.

been a while since i backed anything up, any way, noticed you have dts express support so i dug out and old favorite. The Fast and the Furious. It uses VC1 for the main movie and 2 PIP secondary tracks. After RB has done its thing and created the backup (Slow 2 pass for the main video, 1 pass CRF for the extras) i opened it in cyberlink powerdvd 11. All worked well apart from the dts express audio couldnt be heard. Reading back i see it works on some players and not on others. Curiously i opened the backup in RB and noticed the secondary tracks are flagged as 480i 23.976 were as the original rip is flagged as 480p vc1. Maybe this is causing the player to get confused and subsequently not playing the audio as its expecting the secondary video to be progressive?

I don't think that's the problem with the audio -- but I'll do some checking on the video. I got a similar report recently and forgot to follow-up.

Can you post your settings (the content of BDREBUILDER.INI)?
I've passed the inspect program but still get the following message at burn time.
"BD Rebuilder experienced and error 2306 [11:00:39] DoEncoding0 00053 2306"
Any thoughts on a fix for this?

Any thoughts on a fix for this? That error indicates that some file that BD-Rb is attempting to open a file that doesn't exist. It's possible that something has been deleted
Are you sure you have ImgBurn installed correctly?

Hmm.... I don't think that's the problem with the audio -- but I'll do some checking on the video. I got a similar report recently and forgot to follow-up.
Jdobbs, I was the other one having the same problem with 2 out of the 3 mummy discs. Ironically, BDrebuilder encoded one of the pip correctly to 480p but the other two were encoded as 480i. If you want me to post my ini for these discs I will do it as well.
I've made it a habit to burn the log file and ini file to every disc just for reference if needed in the future. ;) I also burn the bdinfo report from the original disc, as well as, the bdrebuilder disc so that I can see how much everything got compressed.

I just loaded all your settings and did a disc that has a VC-1 main track with a VC-1 PiP (with DTS Express audio). It all came out perfectly with 480p.
Thanks, I'll give that a shot and let you know how it turns out. Thanks for your help.

jdobbs, Just wanted to let you know about the problem I posted in post #15030 about x264.exe has stopped working, Everything is great now, I took your advise in post #15158 about installing CPUID HWMonitor, And the whole time it was my computer overheating, I'm running 42C when idle and 67C to 72C when reincoding, After installing 4 120mm fans I'm running around 63C when reincoding which is still high, So if anybody is having problems with x264 has stopped working check your computer temperture first, Great program jdobbs, time for a donation.

I know that your post is for k-c-ksum but since i'm having the same problem I'd like to chime in. If that's ok... As noted earlier on the mummy trilogy 1 of the 3 came out fine so I think that it has something to do with the way a particular movie is made. Maybe if you had the same disc as k-c-ksum you could come up with the same problem? Do you have the fast and the furious? I'm assuming that this is the first (original) fast and the furious...
For me, the mummy 3 pip came out as 480p but the mummy 1&2 pip came out as 480i.
BTW, I just looked at the mummy trilogy and the mummy 3 is AVC while 1 & 2 are VC-1 so it looks like there's something going on with the VC-1 PIP encodes which explains why the muumy 3 came out fine.

Right you are JDobbs...the job burned correctly after a delete and reinstall of IMGburn. Thanks for the assist.

Hi
I have been using BD Rebuilder for pass year now with excellent results and it would take about 2 Hours to shrink a 30GB or so to 22GB to fit on 25GB BD and now I just d/l version 0.40.10 it wants to take 6 Hours to do it. What Happened? I have all original supporting files on my computer when I first used BD Rebuilder a year ago.
Any idea?
Also is there anyway to use the older version?

Are you sure you are using the same quality setting as before. Go to the "Menu>Settings>Encoder settings" screen and make sure you have selected the same quality level. If you were running "better" before and "highest" now you would see a significantly longer process.

To shrink a 30Gb movie to 22Gb on High Quality setting my PC takes between 3.5 and 5 hours (Core i5 2500K, 6Gb RAM). The Phenom II X4 945 3GB is a slower system and 6 hours sounds about right. Most likely you've been using the Better (Faster) setting as RobertM suggested.

jdobbs, could I buy the problem disc, Thin Ice, I mentioned in post 15234 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1578057#post1578057) for you from Amazon.com? It would be an excellent test disc for you since it causes BD-RB quite a few headaches.

BTW, I just looked at the mummy trilogy and the mummy 3 is AVC while 1 & 2 are VC-1 so it looks like there's something going on with the VC-1 PIP encodes which explains why the muumy 3 came out fine.
glad im not the only 1 with the same issue.
Would there be anyway to force secondary video to be encoded as progressive?

As I mentioned earlier, I did numerous tests against VC-1 PiP sources -- and they came out correct (480p), even when I used your (k-c-ksum) settings. I have to believe there is something odd about that particular disc.
I'll look for Mummy-2 and see what I can find.

Are you sure you are using the same quality setting as before. Go to the "Menu>Settings>Encoder settings" screen and make sure you have selected the same quality level. If you were running "better" before and "highest" now you would see a significantly longer process.
I checked a few of the older versions .ini files to see setting and adjusted to Auto Quality.
Works as the older versions did.
Keep up the Good Work
Thanks :thanks:

What are you using to check the output? I've done at least 20 discs in testing and they are all 480p. I have another one (Harry Potter 6) going right now.

This one came out 480p also... so I've done lots and lots of discs -- even using your settings -- and they all have correctly reencoded correctly to 480p. I confirm it by opening the output with BD-RB, TSMUXER, and BD-INFO. I don't know what else I can do.

i open the backup in bdrb and click on secondary tab and it shows its interlaced
it may or may not be happening to others but they arnt aware of it?
is there anyway to force progressive encoding of secondary streams regardless of what its flagged as.? What determins if x264 encodes it as interlaced or progressive?

it may or may not be happening to others but they arnt aware of it? Not likely.. it definitely isn't happening to me, and there have only been two people report it. My guess is that something odd is happening in your instances alone. Right now I don't know what that is.
In order to reencode these as interlaced, a special setting has to be added to the encoding command line. Can you run it again, and while the secondary is being encoded, open LASTCMD.TXT (in the BD-RB installation folder)? Copy and paste the command line here so I can look at it. Also post the contents of the secondary file's AVS. It will look something like this: "VID_00000_2.AVS" -- the "_2" indicates it is a secondary.

Thanks. Can you post your log for that job. I've done a couple more encodes since -- and they have also come out correctly. I want to see if it's possible that the "--fake-interlaced" setting is coming from a previous encode and is not being reset for some reason.
[Edit] I think I may have it. It may be possible that if the previously encoded stream was interlaced, and you have deinterlacing set, the "--fake-interlacing" setting gets carried over. None of the discs I've tested seem to match that scenario. I'll do some testing.

That's consistent with the problem... it isn't really the "deinterlace" setting. It is the fact that the previous encode is interlaced.
The log (BDREBUILDER.LOG) is in the working folder. It's a text file and can be opened with NOTEPAD.

Thanks. I think I have it now. The "interlaced" setting is being carried over from the previous encode (VID_00188). I was having trouble finding it, because none of my test discs have an interlaced stream immediately preceding the secondary encode. Good find. I'll have it fixed for the next release.

That can't be an accurate statement. There are almost no discs that begin with that time code. In fact I don't think I have ever seen one that does. But even with that said, the timecode also has no bearing on that message. That message generally occurs when either the disc directory format is not correct, or one of the MPLS or CLPI files doesn't have the correct header information. In other words, the disc isn't compliant with the BD standard.

I had that error every time I'd load files over a network. I no longer employ more than one PC at the moment. So I haven't been able to localize the problem. It probably was the way I was configured.

I have Chinatown that Anydvd is giving me a read error on. Typically I use the "Save to HD" Anydvd option & it reads & saves the entire disk to the HD. Is there a way to just read the movie, since all i want is to make a mkv of the movie? Do I have to retain some BD file structure for BD-RB ro read it correctly? Are there other files that I'll need to copy?

Sorry for my English...
There are almost no discs that begin with that time code.
These discs are very much. For example "Yellow Submarine". Many times come across the opera / ballet (Deutsche Grammophon, Opus Arte).
Here's an example, I do demux Blu-ray with BD Reauthor, open it in the Scenarist BD (5.1.3/5.7) and immediately muxing do not make any changes.
Then open it in BD_Rebuilder and immediately get an error. Selected source is not BD Format.
Can we say that Scenarist does not correct disks?
Then I reset timecode in Scenarist to 00:00:00:00, muxing and open to the BD_Rebuilder... and there is no error.
See Attachments pictures.

But if that file is where the read error is (very likely) you'll have the same problem.
