Have you tried resetting the Reclock timings and let it figure everything out from scratch? Sometims I have managed to confuse Reclock into incorrect parameters (exactly how, I don't remember). -A
Tried resetting reclock now, with 1488 it won't lock on to the correct frequency after this, just keeps blinking red/green. Again, reverting to 1453 the icon turns green after a minute or so of the film. /Per

Ar-jar, nevertheless there is some memory leak that occurs or is noticed only when changing MPC-HC versions and/or renderers. This is outside of the factor of settings.
Note that going from 1453 (with EVR CP) to 1465 (with Sync Renderer), all of the tearing and judder from the EVR CP were retained, until the system was rebooted, and then Sync Renderer can work and prevent the tearing and judder (mostly because it has Present at Nearest).
As I type this, it occurs to me that perhaps it is the Graphics Processor settings or memory that are done by 1453, that are not cleared until reboot occurs.
( It also went the same direction, i.e going from 1465 to 1453 caused 1453 mysteriously to have the extra capabilities of Sync Renderer in preventing tearing until the system was rebooted, and then 1453 was no longer able to prevent the tearing. )
When I repeated the tests with a reboot after every version or renderer change, each version and renderer worked as one might predict.

Check if 10bit RGB is checked. You can't use hardware deinterlacing with 10bit unfortunately.
Ah, I am almost positive that I do, indeed, have it checked. I'll check when I get home from work. Thanks so much! What is preferable: EVR with 10bit RGB or EVR CP without 10bitRGB?

10bit RGB when you have a capable display. otherwise, pretty worthless.

You can't use any of those options with plain EVR, only with EVR Custom. So basically, if you want hardware deinterlacing you can forget about 10bit. I can't see any difference when I have it checked though :p

It already has AutoPlay functionality.
options -> player -> formats -> autoplay
Thank you for the information.
But as for the Blu-ray disc is expected to utoplay?

I wanted to point out that the Italian translation for this function says that it is only for XP, but works with Seven, I think must be corrected

I've got a real wierd one, have been using MPC-HC quite happily with the present settings since I downgraded the graphics card.
Its like its not getting any CPU but I cranked the settigns all the way to Realtime and its still like streaming video but worse :P
Playing MPEG2 with Cyberlink decoder and Haali Renderer, and PowerDVD works just fine. Is that gonna use EVR?
Anyway I found out I got a warranty replacement for my 9800GT so I won't have to live without DXVA for much longer ;)

is it possible to change the auto hdmi mode for 1080p@24 at 23 Hz and not with 24Hz, because you only get with nvidia real 23,97Hz at 23Hz and not with 24Hz.
is it not possible to change it for nvidia user?

Here are some sample files I came across that have audio problems with the internal MPEG splitter:
http://www.mediafire.com/?y4zznmniziy
http://www.mediafire.com/?ennjzjgz4gm
http://neuron2.net/misc/One News AAC_.edit.ts
For example, the splitter detects the audio as MP3, whereas MediaInfo detects it as AAC.

That would make sense, I agree.
( I did not check the list of processes, since I did not know about that bug at the time. )

Just bought Star Trek blu-ray today and have found a few little niggles / bugs in mpc, with this blu-ray. I am unsure if this effects all / many blu-rays, will try later.
First Bug
With reclock loaded (not doing any video syncing), and using evr-cp or syncrenderer, when I drag my mouse along the seek bar, for maybe 3-4 seconds, mpc-hc will crash.
Without reclock, this doesn't happen, or with reclock and say vmr9 this doesn't happen so its something to do with evr I believe.
Why would this happen, I think if its not a known thing I think it should be pretty high priority if a bug report is created.
Second Bug
I decided then to not use Reclock as Audio Renderer, but to use my Xonar device labelled as "Speakers (ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 A)". Using this device, with any renderer it seems, I get audio glitches constantly and video playsback at about 2fps.
When I select "Directsound: Speakers (ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Audio Device)" all is back to perfect. Where does the bug lie here do you think? If its not directsound or waveout, what is this "Speakers...." device.
Third Bug
Also, on my GTX 295, when using 10-bit output mode, I get a "CreateDevice failed SyncAPfailed, D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE" error.
I think mpc-hc should first check if this 10-bit feature is supported by the card before attempting to use it.
Fourth Bug
When clicking a position on seek bar, audio starts immediately, but video takes 1/2 - 1 second to appear. This is fine but it means about 10-50 frames get dropped. Basically if someone seeks to a position, I think they would rather have the audio wait for 1\4 of a second, and have audio and video start perfectly in sync, without frames getting dropped. The seek also displays a corrupted image (blocky) for maybe 1\4 of a second also. I am sure all of this is avoidable.

Supported languages: BR, BY, CN, CZ, DE, EN, ES, FR, HU, IT, KR, PL, RU, SE, SK, TR, UA
Changes log (http://www.xvidvideo.ru/logi-izmeneniy/log-izmeneniy-media-player-classic-homecinema.html)
Fixed uninitialized variable occasionally causing failure to create D3D fullscreen window for VMR9, EVR Custom and Sync Renderer.
Added conditional code for creating a debug console for non-debug builds (activated with preprocessor definition GOTHTRACE).
Prevented unnecessary addition of SyncClock filter.
Did some further internal restructuring of the Sync Renderer code (no intended functional changes).

I offer my congratulations to all the people who commit their time and passion in developing this wonderful player.
So just wondering if you can improve in future releases of these points:
1 - you can correct the Italian version, "only for XP", Why does the autoplay works with Seven
http://www.allfreeportal.com/imghost/images/942666Senza titulo-2.PNG (http://allfreeportal.com)
2 - add autoplay for Blu-ray disc
3 - For the DVD section you can add a keyboard command "jump to the title ..." or add a feature that lets you start from the first title without warnings.
Thanks

Since nobody but me talked about this, maybe I'm the only one concerned, but SVN version greater than 1453 (before the Bento4 library) can't play MP4 files properly.
System is Win7 64 and latest 64bits builds from XvidVideo (thanks guys).
(And it's the same with 32bits builds.)

Still having problems with MPC making my graphic cards driver hang and recover themself, been playing games fine, but DXVA+MKV+Subtitles makes the drivers hang and recover. Anyone know what this may be? Didn't have the problem with my 4980, but now i have 5870, so may the problem be with the ATI driver? Since the 5870 is still pretty new.

After some tests I have these conditions:
Before Bento4, MP4 XviD: small freezes
Before Bento4, MP4 x264: perfect
After Bento4, MP4 XviD: small freezes
After Bento4, MP4 x264: huge freezes, video unplayable
I guess MP4 & XviD isn't a good mix, but since the library's update, MP4 playback seems to be broken.
Although how may I create a sample, I'm not too familiar with MP4.

Anyway "Extra steps for image corruption and AV sync problems:
* uncheck View > Options > Plaback > "auto-load subtitles"
Turning that off, meaning playing the video without the subtitles works, but with subtitles makes the graphics driver stop and reset itself.

It seems to have something to do with my overclocked CPU i've found out. Didn't quite see the notice about setting everything overclocked back to default at the top before now, so i gave that a shoot, and volia, the video could now play without resetting the video adapter.
So what does this mean really? I've done some extensive stress testing without error, i also manage to play games without any problems, so far at least.

hi,
I want to come back to an old problem on my system that was already discussed here.
The picture is stuttering and shows pixelation every now and then. This happens only with VMR9. DXVA or software doesn't matter (I didnt test the latter on all following versions).
The last version that works is 1024
As I need subtitles I'm stuck with VMR9, right ?!
Is there any setting I could have missed or is it just bad luck ?
Will Windows 7 help on this matter ?
My system: XP SP3 with Ati AGP 2600 Pro, Cat. 9.11
Thank you !
