Since Casimir666 is in such a good mood today :)
Can someone finally point me to the right direction in regards how do I cut samples out of m2ts files? I have two very likely and one suspect bug in MPCHC regarding m2ts+AAC.
Of course these bugs are reproducible etc, but I kind of not willing to upload >2gb m2ts files atm :)

Cheers, m8!
Thanks to your assistance, I was able to report three bugs related to MPCHC Beliyaal, Haali/ffdshowaudio and MPCHC SVN bug here as well:
Here's 50mb cut from the end of the original m2ts file
http://www.mediafire.com/?nynridykydo
This file shows two audio tracks here on SVN branch however both Haali and DGIndex think theres only one audio track.

It's probably best if you explored the options. That's twice now that you've missed easily changable settings.
With that said, check under subtitles in the options.

Hy
Is any possibility with mpc-hc to change output refresh rate when different fps source material is played?
i mean my 720p lcd-tv, and beamer support 50,59,60 fps with 720p resolution, and when i want play my pal hdv videos, with 50fps tha look best with 50fps
the ntsc material looks best at 60fps
and when i shot my avchd cam, then the video file looks best at 59 fps
how can i make automatic refresh rate change depending source movie material?
or how it can i send to todo or wishlist?

-Should we try fixing the crashes/warnings that SDK gives?
-The DirectX SDK does include some interesting things for users of windows7 (namely DX11 and Direct2D)
-I know intel compiler is not used for MPC-HC but it might be interesting for ffdshow?

Which parts of MPC-HC use resp. are going to use DX11 or Direct2D? I guess none.
Regarding ffdshow & ICL: MSVC has pretty much closed the gap in terms of decoding performance - even with applied filters.

Hi,
for me, the internal MPEG splitter does not work with evo files and MPC falls back to Haalis splitter. Nevertheless, I do not care about that, since I have always ripped my HD-DVDs, decoded any audio track better than "normal" AC3 / DTS to flac, and remuxxed it into a Matroska file. And here is my problem with the internal Matroska splitter:
Has anybody yet reported, that the internal Matroska splitter is not able to correctly detect and handle MPG2 video tracks ( track id V_MPG2) ? If I use the intermal splitter with such a file, there is no picture and only the audio track is played back. If I switch to Haalis splitter instead, everything works fine.

May I ask which muxxer and which MPG2 decoder you are using ?
I have ripped the "Stargate SG1" Season7 DVDs (R2) and remuxxed them to Matroska files a while ago, and I can't play them back with the internal Matroska splitter, both with the internal MPG2 decoder and cyberlinks decoder. Together with Haalis splitter, it works with both decoders. I am using the lastest svn version of MPC HC.

Does anyone know what might be causing this problem for myself and Kaotech. I am surprised others havn't noticed True HD problems with mpc-hc yet. For me front right channel is almost inaudable, unless an extremely loud scene comes on, then the front right channel gives a couple of crackling noises.
Plays fine in ffdshow.
My only True HD content is within a .ts fiel but Kaotech experiences the same thing with True Hd on BD.

Hello,
I receive a new BD with Dolby true HD Track, i've got the same problème. In my pic you can see my speaker Right, it's the CH1. The ch0 is my speaker left.
I cut all channel, i increase the sound and i have a sound like the LFE track, it's only the infrabass in the Front right.
Mar007 can you try if you got the infrabass on your front right ?

I don't have visualisation like that for each channel.
I wonder is there some software I could use to analyze but I am sure I get similar to you because its definitely front right channel is very low like yours, very annoying.

AC3Filter lets me analyze it thanks. I can see decoding in ffdshow is perfect, all channels getting content. With mpc-hc decoder front right is mostly mute, sometimes moves up slightly. Below is a screenshot of a particularly active scene, no output on front right at all.

Set up audio switcher in MPC like this pic.

Is it possible to download the SVN builds from anywhere? I mean working program, not sources. I am no programmer and I got no idea how to compile stuff.
