Must be a bug, as I see the input framerate from avs2yuv (10000000/417083) but I dont think x264 sees this and output a default 25 fps stream, which is wrong.

This is not serious bug because it will be corrected after muxing to container. I will fix this next time.

is the solution to set the --FPS 10000000/417083 or will --FPS 24000/1001 be correct or dosnt it matter which one I use ?

I've got a question about the codec id field. On my files I create (I use apple tv preset) some show isom while most show M4VH. Can someone explain why there is a difference? I'm not having any issues playing either with my apple tv, but just curious whythere are differences.
Thx

Atak,
Why did you turn off the VC-1 codec on the ffdshow video config page?
I installed ffdshow (rev2672) check the video config page, and the VC-1 was enabled using libavcodec.
Ran RipBot264 (1.13.1) and added HD-DVD video, I got a no compressor found message. Checked the video config page and VC-1 was set to "disabled".

Hey Atak_Snajpera, did you see the MT application for AVIsynth ?
http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/MT

Did you think if it can be installed in ripbot264 in future?
Question: did an AMD 64 X2 is Multi Thread ??

what are you talking about?
lol. Sorry about that. Should have clarified a little better. Anyway looking at mediainfo on a few of my encodes, I notice some (primarily animation titles) have a codec id of isom and on the majority of other flicks the codec id is M4VH.
Format : MPEG-4
Format profile : Base Media
Codec ID : isom
Format : MPEG-4
Format profile : Apple TV
Codec ID : M4VH
All my files are created using Apple TV profile and resized to play back on that device. Like I mentioned before I'm not having any issues just trying to understand where this is coming from.
Cheers

ok, this new version no longer remembers my setting for audio, resize, audio boost etc.
older version remembered most settings after adding the 1st vid and was handy for when i encoded vidz for ipod.
now i have to set it up all again for every new vid i add..

wmv9 is better decoder for VC-1 than libavcodec. libavcodec does not support interlaced video (for example recorded gig) and is a little less stable than microsoft's decoder. You better install WMV11.

^ in v1.12.0 for conversion to ipod format
i load any file, set audio to 96kbps, set normalize to 200%, set cq22, hit properties and set resize to POD. then hit OK and OK to save.
next i load any file again, once all the scanning, demuxing etc is done, i dont need to set any options as they were remembered from previos save.
in v1.13.1
i have to set all options again on every new file loaded after the 1st one.

Everytime I install WMP9 and WME9 it causes RipBot to stop working correctly.
After installing those 2 apps, whenever RipBot is done demuxing the audio it tries to open the avs in MPC and spits out a ACM :: Output Wrapper error, or something like that.
So I steer clear of installing those applications. I've tested many times and the only time Ripbot gives me those errors is right after installing those apps.

wmv9 is better decoder for VC-1 than libavcodec. libavcodec does not support interlaced video (for example recorded gig) and is a little less stable than microsoft's decoder. You better install WMV11.
I opened ffdshow video config again, wmv9 is listed under VC-1, so I changed it from libavcodec to wmv9. What puzzled me was why RipBot264 made the change for me? And then when I ran RipBot264 again , this setting would stick, and everything was fine after that.
BTW, I have WMP11 installed, running XP-SP3.

WMP11 decoder is used in two cases:
1) user selects disabled
2) user selects wmv9
Here what I did:
1) if app detects that libavcodec is enabled then disabled is selected
2) if app detects that wmv9 is enabled then it does not change anything

Has anyone had any trouble converting Vicky Cristina Barcelona? I did Lakeview Terrace and Barcelona in the same queue, and I wound up with the audio from Lakeview Terrace on the Barcelona conversion...
What was weird, though, was that when I was setting up Barcelona, I got an error message when I tried to preview the job. It said something about not being able to render certain pins in the graph re: ACM Wrapper::output or something.
Just curious as to what this would be.

I think this is very confusing for users. Because the default VC-1 setting in ffdshow is libavcodec, even when WMP11/10 is installed and wmv9 is listed as an option. So the first time an user loads a VC-1 video, and the first message hit the user is "no compressor found" with no explanation what so ever.
Can you change the behavior of the app in step (1). So it works like this:
1) if app detects libavcodec is enabled then check if wmv9 is installed, if so change this setting to wmv9, otherwise disable VC-1.

Hello.
I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem that I am. Using 1.13.0 or 1.13.1 my output speed for a 23.976 movie is changed to 25 during the conversion. This happens even if I assume > 23.975. The weird thing is that the mkv is perfectly synced, but when i run through tsmuxer the audio is seconds off. I've tried multiple movies and the outcome is the same. I've rolled back to 1.12.0 and everything works. Any ideas?

It's actually a 3 channel audio track that for some reason limits RipBot to 2 channels...? But yeah, I got the FLAC file that was apparently never used and did not contain the dialogue channel...at least not mixed properly for my 2 channel headphone out.
I also demuxed it to a wav file and tried to tell RipBot to use it as the audio track, but no luck. It still grabbed the Lakeview Terrace audio that was in a previous job.

Btw, can you make it possible to change the frequency of audio in the main menu instead of the avs file (48000 -> 44100) and allow us to enter a custom bitrate for audio as well?
Thanx.

If I advance chapter on standalone, it hangs, then returns to the beginning of the disc.
It worked fine in 1.12.0.
Hi Wakebrder,
Did you find the fix for this issue?
I have them same prob as you on a Panny BD35 standalone but NO probs with PowerDVD on the pc.
AVCHD movie chapters seem to be broken in 1.13.0 and 1.13.1. If I advance the chapter on BD35 standalone, it hangs, then returns to the beginning of the disc.
Its working fine on 1.12.0.

I have done one Blu Ray with 1.13.1 and it didn't keep the chapters. They are in 5m intervals rather than the expected original chapters.
I am going back to 1.12.0 as that worked fine for me for what I needed.
