I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say? "Grab the video from Ripbot"?

If you just want the video, use MKVmerge to extract. If you don't want to encode the Audio, set the Audio to No Audio.
I still want to make the file smaller so I want to encode the video with Ripbot.
The only time I can set the audio to No Audio is after Ripbot demuxes the audio.
I would like No Audio as the default, can I do that?

I tried: Audio=0 in the .ini but no luck.

Ripbot264 accepts any AVS script as input, so yes, you can use any Avisynth filter ...

Just means you have to write the AVS script (and if you want to preview it use something like AvsPmod) ...

Please forgive my question, if it's already a known issue.

I just installed RipBot264, and when I run it claims to need having Ffdshow 32 bit installed. AFAIK it is installed (I just checked my directory), so why is it not seeing it?

How should I proceed?

Does anyone have a small guide how I can use the InterFrame script inside ripbot? I want encode my 25fps video to 50 fps...
I have downloaded and put the files under RipBot264v1.16.5\Tools\AviSynth plugins\InterFrame\

@Hobbe

Is very easy to CUT frames but it is impossible put in place or to increase frames after their cutting http://tracker.hdclub.com.ua/pic/smilies/wink.gif

Anyway try this:

http://www.spirton.com/interframe/

and

http://www.spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/

I didn't try it , but I presume it is smth forced or faked...

Thats the avisynth script i'm trying to use. I paste this line in ripbot: InterFrame(FlowPath="C:\Bin\RipBot264v1.16.5\Tools\AviSynth plugins\InterFrame")
All Interframe dll's are in that folder... When I try to preview the script it just say: Script error: there is no function named "Interframe"

I'm really excited about the distributed encoding capabilities of this new version, what a great idea! I've been trying to get it working with no luck. I've watched the tutorial and edited the INI properly but ripbot won't start the client portion when I click start. It loads the server when run but encodes the blu-ray as usual in its own window. I am on a domain so I've shared the temp folder (D:\Temp\RipBot264temp in my case) but don't have the security option to check under network settings as in the video. Any help would be appreciated!

Here is my ini:

[settings]
// TEMP=uses System temp ; C , D ... uses specific partition
StoreTempFilesin=D
KeepJobsQueue=1
---------------------
DefaultProfile=[HIGH 4.0] HD . Progressive
DefaultEncodingMode=CQ
DefaultModeValue=18
---------------------
//Directory must exists!!! D:\movies\ is correct but D:\movies is incorrect!
DefaultOutputPath=D:\DVD\
---------------------
// allowed values are mp4 , mkv , bluray , mkv-divxhd
DefaultContainer=mp4
---------------------
// in GiB (1GiB=1024 MiB) , 0 = no splitting
SplitM2TS=0
---------------------
FastFirstPassin2passMode=1
---------------------
//AnyDVD DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-Ray decryptor will be automatically activated with RipBot264
ExecuteAnyDVD=0
---------------------
//Blu-ray subtitles will be converted to SUB/IDX format for .mkv container. Smaller size and better compatibility with some players.
ConvertSUPtoSUB=1
---------------------
x264LowPriority=1
---------------------
// it will use 64bit version of x264 on 64bit Windows. up to 10% faster encoding speed.
Usex264x64=1

// Only for DVD / HD-DVD / BD sources!

Ok, got a little further. It now starts the encoding client and connects to both the localhost and a remote server I have set up. Unfortunately both of them flip back and forth between encoding and idle. The status flips back and forth between Starting... and Queue (about twice a second). If I open the server it flashes Encoding Terminated... over and over...

Distributed encoding looks awesome but I don't think I should bother trying it with my 2600k desktop with my c2d laptop, doubt the speed difference will be significant.
Pretty excited about the batch feature, it's what everyone has been waiting for.

I am starting to feel a bit mentally handicapped this morning with the Distributed Encode feature. Do I need to have anything running on the other machines? I have managed to get the server and client windows to show an encode in progress on the localhost, but when I try to connect to one of my other two computers it just keeps telling me they are offline. I have checked the network settings on these machines and they are completely open. It seems like there needs to be something running on the other end. Honestly, I have no idea exactly how this works so I am guessing. Anyone successfully get this running that can give me some pointers? I have already watched the tutorial numerous times and yet I just can't get my other computers to start encoding.

Thanks in advance.

@Balthazar2k4:
You have to run EncodingServer on the other machines too!
Because I have RipBot264 installed on all machines I don't know if you need all codecs etc. too.

@Atak_Snajpera:
Thanks for this wonderfull new feature!!!
But I have some questions too:
x264farm had the ability to find out I-Frames and split encodes there.
Because 1st pass had fixed split of movieparts (without overhead of around 240 frames to find I-Frames between) and 2nd pass splitted encodes at the same point, so I don't think Ripbot264 has same ability. Am I wrong? Do you plan to implement it?
What does other machines need? For example, if I use your Denoise-function (based on GPU-Avisynth-Plugin) do I need a capable graphiccard in each machine? or is it only used on first machine?
Because I have some Servers with VMware ESXi and Windows VMs (which doesn't support these GPU-features)

Thanks Wishbringer! I thought that was most likely the issue, but the tutorial video I guess just assumed that. Works like a charm now!

So, first tests are done:
Encoded an episode of 24 minutes with two machines, worked fine.
Then added two further machines and encoded another episode.
Only the first two machines in the list started encoding, the other two stayed idle:
0-14399 frames: first machine
14400-36000 frames: 2nd machine
I expected at least three machines working:
0-14399: first
14400-28799: second
28800-36000: third

Will start another encode of a 4 hours movie, maybe then all machines get a job.
btw, when changing client-list, the new machines encode too. So it's not a problem of the new machines. Only the first two in the list starts jobs here.

Edit:
When disconnecting one of the first two machines, then encode starts at third machine. So it seems there are only two parallel encodes atm.

Ok, worked with longer movies, have now around 40 jobs in the Clientqueue. It was the 24 minutes episode that made only two machines to run.

A solution to avoid your scenario would be:
to take length of movie (in frames),
divide by 14400,
round up the result (never below the count of the machines),
divide frames of movie by this result to get a new job length (in frames)
and add modula (frames of movie - new job length * count of jobs) to last part.
