Nice release. The DivXPlus - integration is very brilliant, i've done a few tests and this function works very well! So big thanks for that!

But when will RipBot264 accept Java x64 and ffdshow x64? There are no differences for commandline etc. Espacially Java and ffdshow x64 supports 32-bit applications. So there's no need to eclude these both 64-bit versions off the app-check! You only have to erase the "Not installed" messages while starting RipBot!!!

I don't know if you know that I need everything compiled in 64bit. I mean EVERY single plugin! For example BassAudio is closed source so don't count on x64 version at all. This is just one of examples. AviSynth 64 + haali 64 + ffdshow 64 is NOT ENOUGH!

BTW I uninstalled Haali Media Splitter and even removed all entries in registry and then downloaded latest version and haali is recognized by Ripbot without any problems. If you use codec pack don't ask for help. Period.

I just found that your application searches for Install_Dir (HKLM\SOFTWARE\HaaliMkx) when checking for Haali. I just made a registry entry that points to Program Files (x86)\Win7codecs\filters and I could get past the check software screen.

As you seem reluctant (and I can understand why) to provide the check software option that existed some versions ago, would you be so kind to tell me if by just creating that entry to point to where Haali filter is will work without any problems?

If I kill the process or the abort when it hangs during muxing the output AVCHD is incomplete/incorrect in size. 1.15.7 doesn't have this issue.

Why don't you create your own strict Blu-Ray profile?

what would 'blu-ray encoding' entitle? profiles (and the bitrate ranges to go with them) higher than 4.0? because I use ripbot to do 'blu-ray encoding' all the time.

Atak is there a way to re-enable to minimize to tray? I really dislike that being disabled (why not make an option to enable / disable it).

are you ever gonna add support for copying HD tracks? or do you just like to ignore everyone's request because you don't want to copy HD tracks? or is it because it's a difficult thing to implement?

I Have the EXACT SAME ISSUE! But with Inglorous Bastards. I ended up having to download the latest gui version of TS muxer and muxing it myself to finalize the copy.

RipBot will hang during the muxing process.

I install Haali manually to private pathing and several users of my software also want to use your software. Could you tell me exactly what the ripbot program is looking for when it is determining the version of haali installed on a users system? I need to know the specific registry keys and values.

LOVE this program... so easy to use and doesn't boggle my brain with unnecessary settings.

However I just hit a hiccup - Ripbot just finished the end of the second pass and says "Muxing..." with the Windows 7 progress bar at 100%... but it's been stuck like this for HOURS. How do I save it? Are the video/audio files somewhere I can find so I can manually mux them? Would hate to wait for it to encode all over again :( (I'm too afraid to press the "Abort" button)

Only if he had 'Keeps jobs queue' enabled, of course. He should just check his ripbot ini and see what output path he originally specified.

P.S. Meanwhile, I'm still merrily on RipBot 1.11.5, LOL. Never gives me any trouble.

haha silly me, my problem was (most probably) caused by me renaming the folder ripbot was in since i was so happy it ripped one movie i was doing some file cleaning up while the second encode was taking place.

pretty confident it'll work flawlessly this time. so easy to use and the output quality is amazing, well done.

I've never used RipBot for audio. I just use eac3to myself, to convert any HD audio -> LPCM, for streaming to my PS3; and then I just use tsMuxeR afterwards to mux my separate audio stream back in.

See RipBot really just as a convenient shell around x264; and it's easy because it creates all necessary avs scripts too. But I never understood why people want to use it for audio.

I would greatly appreciate it. I'm a noob when it comes to the different changes that each new version of x264 causes. I haven't had any decent profiles in the last three new versions of ripbot. I love the program and want more out of it. So can somebody help a noob out?

@Trayman: see, this is precisely the sort of thing which makes processing audio outside of RipBot so much easier. :) I mean, hontou ni, who goes and creates another whole faux RipBot job, just to demux an audio-stream!? The eac3to command-line interface is very simple, and everything can be prepared in a single command, like:

eac3to 00000.m2ts 3: c:\audio\avatar.pcm 4: c:\audio\avatar_french.ac3 -640

For, say, converting the DTA-MA track to LPCM, and the regular French DTS track to AC3 (just examples, of course). Then, when RipBot is done, you just splice it all together again. Easy-peasy. And you have a whole lot more fine-grained control over the way your audio gets processed.

Ripbot264 by default decompress HD audio to LPCM (.wav) so I don't understand why you do this outside GUI???

If you want to maintain the quality does not look for another profile.
RipBot's profile is great, what is missing is more processing power out there ..

I don't since ac3 is good enough for me :) The only thing i do outside RipBot is convert the subs to srt since i don't like burned subs and my Popcorn Hour doen't support idx/sub or sup yet.

Also, it's extremely unlikely x264 would itself cause a blue screen or reboots; looks really more like faulty memory, or an overclock that maybe isn't as stable as you thought it was? Also, I've had issues with a crappy SPTD driver that would cause blue screens; but x264 simply doesn't have access really to anything that could cause such a blue death.

I am going to replace r1613 with r1629 and see if that helps it. For whatever reason, I have noticed that x264 never fully maximizes my i7 920. On first pass, I am usually at 40% CPU average amongst the 8 logical cores. Is x264 not multithreaded for 8 logical cores? On my Q6700 machine, first pass maxes out my CPU's 4 cores.

My overclock passed 20 passes on linX and 7 hours or so on Prime before I stopped it, and it has worked just fine on RipBot in the past so...

I know you don't get a perfect doubling with HT, but I expected well over 50% utilization. I mean, 2nd pass will frequently take all 8 logical cores to around 100%. That said, I am thinking about turning off HT and going for a higher OC. Right now I am at 4.2GHz w/ HT. I want to check x264 speeds at 4.4GHz w/o HT.

Oh and my Q6700 was a PAIN to OC. 3.33GHz took wailing and gnashing of teeth! Pretty high VID, and the EVGA mobo it's on has bad vdroop too so...
