someone suggest me this to extract the "TRUE-HD" audio track:
eac3to X:\ where X is the letter of your blu-ray/hddvd drive

eac3to will provide you with a list of playlists from the disc.
Find under which section the truehd audio track you are looking for is ( 1), 2), etc.) and
then add that to the command line you typed before. So it should look like:

eac3to X:\ #) where # is the number of the playlist

Once that command is entered it will show you something like this:

1: chapters
2: video track
3: video/audio track
etc.

Find which number corresponds to the audio track you're looking for. The command line will look like this now:

eac3to X:\ #) *: "audioTrack.thd" where *= track number; audiotrack = the directory where you're saving the
truehd audio file and .thd is the file type.

Once you have both the video and audio track, load the video track into tsmuxer,
hit append and load the audio track. Make sure both tracks are selected in the check box area
and then you can save the file with both video and audio.

Now i have a file (1.2GB) named "audioTrack.thd".
I try to load it into tsmuxer but it wont load, it say "Can't detect stream type..."

blackwalker....first off extract everything with eac3to..the video, audio and subtitle track. 2nd, where you went wrong is you extracted the truehd track as a truehd track, which is still the same issue of tsmuxer not being able to accept a truehd track. When you extract the audio track, name the extension as .ac3 and it will just pull out the core of the truehd track. Don't just rename the already extracted truehd track you have. You need to do it again. Let me do an example.

Lets say your file is called movie.m2ts (by the way I dont know why you just have the one m2ts file...a movie isn't always stored in one of those files...sometimes is spans multiple m2ts files.)

So, you do a command on that file like : eac3to movie.m2ts

Eac3to will list something like the following :

M2TS, 1 video track, 3 audio tracks, 8 subtitle tracks, 2:02:46
1: Chapters, 16 chapters
2: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
3: TrueHD/AC3, English, 5.1 channels, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
(embedded: AC3, 5.1 channels, 640kbps, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB)
4: TrueHD/AC3, German, 5.1 channels, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
(embedded: AC3, 5.1 channels, 640kbps, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB)
5: AC3 Surround, English, 2.0 channels, 192kbps, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
6: Subtitle (PGS), English
7: Subtitle (PGS), English

As you can see track 3 is a truehd track, with an embedded ac3 5.1 track. For this example (and yours will be very similar) do the following command to pull out the video track, the audio track (the core, not the whole truehd track) and the 2 subtitle tracks.

eac3to movie.m2ts 2:"c:\Movie\Video.mkv" 3:"c:\Movie\Audio.ac3" 6:"c:\Movie\Sub1.sup" 7:"c:\Movie\Sub2.sup"

Notice the audio line. I named it .ac3 instead of .thd. The simple process of putting it in as .ac3 will tell eac3to that it should just extract the .ac3 file and not the full truehd file. Once you have all those extracted remux them with tsmuxer. Just add the .mkv, the .ac3, and the subs.

side note : If it was a dts master audio file, you would need to name the file .dts and add the -core option.
Example 2:"c:\Movie\Audio.dts" -core

and not the full-hd track?

If this is correct, i think is the same thing if i use tsmuxer, selecting the audio true-hd track and telling to downconvert to ac3, or no?

that's correct. its just extracting the base ac3 information. You can do it with tsmuxer or eac3to. i prefer extracting audio using eac3to. other ways....no idea. not sure why you would need other ways though...eac3to is a great program.

Then he shouldn't import. :) If he has the m2ts file, why not just simply load it into tsMuxeR and deselect every stream, but the ones he wants (video + TrueHD track) and remux it?

Saves him the convoluted trouble of first extracting to .thd, then finding ways to import it again, etc.

First of all, thank you Atak_Snajpera for such a great program.

Secondly I have few feature requests/suggestions. I am a real newbie when it comes to encoding so bare with me please.
1. Could you add an option for copy video stream? I will explain: Using RipBot I have reencoded an exiting mkv that would not play on my ps3 into mp4 using the console profile. I have noticed that by default the audio was set to "stream copy". The mp4 is playable on the ps3 now but audio is missing some channels and/or some channels are played at extremely slow speed. The mp4 plays nicely on pc. The video copy would have helped me greatly, since I would be able to reencode/downmix the audio only, instead of reencoding the whole think, using some other GUI or learnig how all the command line tools work and piecing the script together my self.

2. I have tried to convert mov to mp4 but RipBot would not get pass extracting audio. I have went into the temp folder and by playing the job1.avs I got an AviSynth error: YV12 for output must have a width divisible by 4 (use crop). Well I went on and read up on avisynth, fixed the getinfo.avs, ran it, copied the info.txt elsewhere, aborted the import job and started again. Then I have waited until ripbot extracts the audio and when it tried to gather the info about the mov i have copied the info.txt back. After this the ripbot was able to finish the import. Before I started encoding I edited the job1.avs so it crops the video. Even though it was fun and learning experience it would be great if ripbot could detect this on its own if at all possible.

3. would it be possible for ripbot to get it's own forum/subforum? it is really hard/borderline impossible to sift through 190+ pages of users problems and suggestions to find if somebody already had a problem similar to mine.

powerdvd 8 ultra wont play the m2ts file with true-hd audio.
it play fine other m2ts files without true-hd audio.

but i made a iso image and burn it to disc .It did work.

That properties button will take you to the avs script options, which will let you hardcode subs into the movie. If that's what you're looking for that will work. If you're looking to have switchable subs (switch them on or off) then that will not be what you're looking for.

Right above the "lock size" option on the bottom right there is a "subtitles" button. Have you tried clicking that and seeing if the subtitles are there? That's where you add subs that are switchable, and ripbot i believe should be putting in the subs there automatically since you're using ripbot's interface to demux the streams...

I have asked about subs before. That section is for srt format subtitles. It is expected to turn the demuxed sup subtitles into srt subtitles by using ocr and something like suprip.

I find it is easier to use ripbot then process through Tsmuxer again but add the subtitles manually. Of course it would be easier if ripbot added these sup's itself.

Dolby TrueHD is a pain to work with. No problem extracting it with either eac3to or tsremux. The problem is remuxing which only tsmuxer can do and it usually (but not always) screws it up. You can also try to remux the m2ts file from tsmuxer with tsremux and occasionally that will fix the truhd. If you are using a DVD-9 then just use ripbot to convert it to ac3. However if you want to use it on a BD-25 or mkv then convert it to lpcm using eac3to. These are the safest and easiest approaches at this point until (and if) tsmuxer fixes the truhd bug.

I have a couple questions about using ripbot264 to change vc-1 to h264 so I can stream through the ps3.

I have the original files ripped onto my computer. Can I change the vc-1 stream to h264, and once thats done I will have a new file. I want to Go back into ts muxer and load the new video stream and use the original audio stream and create a m2ts file? I will then have a new m2ts file that I can stream through my ps3. Will this work? Also if I want the absolute highest quality do I just use 0 cq, or is there other things I need to change as well?

import .evo in ripbot264 and select blu-ray disc. Inside Stream folder you will find .m2ts.
Be carefull with bitrate! My tests show that speed transfer between two devices can be often lower than 12 MBps! (Wifi G-standard)

So i made some speedups, i encoded the planet earth series (ac3 to ac3) but to my surprise the audio started great but slowly got out of sync.

I then tried planet earth the movie and wall-e the both have dts master hd tracks and the speedup worked great only i had ac3 sound. As i prefer the superior sound quality from dts, i experimented an bit more and replaced in the command file Blue-ray_extractstreams.cmd the option -core by speedup. U could also leave the -core option and add behind it -speedup. This will give an dts track which is speedup to 25 fps. After this i ran the mux command again and it gave me an movie with dts.

Of course i rather try to sweet talk atak into implementing this in his app, when u select xxxcopy it would be great if u still could select an speedup or slowdown, currently u can only select cut.

Is this correct? The only editing to the script that i've done in Ripbot is the Addborders command, i've never done anything w/the audio but if there was some way to adjust that would be great!! I know Atak is a busy man but if he was able to implement something for PAL/NTSC slowdown/speedup audio options that awesome...

RipBot264 couldn't open video from videocamera (720x576, 25 fps, interlaced). The error is in the attach. In getinfo.avs I saw that it is trying to open video using OpenDMLSource, maybe that is a problem.
Also I attached MediaInfo's description of the video.
