For instance : I've already encoded a file and forgot to attach in the beginning the subtitles..... At the end HOW can I attach subtitles without re-encoded the file again ????

If I wanna make .srt files I need suprip soft ,that's very simple in English , although I have to take every word and examine it and make manual corrections , which is very difficult especially when there are many dialogues , but when there are multi .sup files , in different languages ???? What can I do ???? How to examine and make correction if I don't know those languages ????

Hi, my problem is the audio. Previously, there wasnt such a problem. I recently formatted my computer and this problem appeared. In short, when I try to rip any video, in audio section [no audio] writes. caps and the log file:

Just a suggestion...
Would it be possible to include the PgcDemux of 288KB in the tools of the RipBot?
The PgcDemux really stabilizes, while joining the VOB files, ending any asynchrony. He works from the IFO file.
He does the same thing as DVD Shrink > Re-author, which is also very good. Cited by soneca.

Normally I would just check demux video stream and audio stream.
Is it the same compared to demuxing the .vob other than that the .vob(s) may contain additional subtitle(s)?

I have figured it myself. Not sure.
Sometimes u change from gui something to same it allready was then some custom options from command box will be deleted. :confused:

Do test encode, and look with mediainfo what settings where use for encoded file.

VLC has a metadata edit, I recall having trouble getting it to save a lot of the time though...

try winamp, I believe it will do it as well

as suggested, MKVmerge does have an option to set the track name, which is probably where the 00015 is set...but it will require remuxing the video to change it.

RipBot264 will make broken x264.mp4 file that can not be decoded by youtube or demuxed or remuxed with none of available demuxers or remuxers in mediacoder.

That mp4 i muxed in mkvmerge GUI with flac audio.
It gives me error there:

Problem seems to be broken muxing in MediaCoder, it can't join video(copy) and audio(copy) to mp4 with none of the muxers.
None of the video or audio formats encoded by different applications, not just only RipBot264 mp4 files.

I can tell you that DVDfab's bluray program has some type of circumvention for it. it requires you to rip the bluray and then I think you have to burn the full things as well. so no authoring / remuxing / encoding / etc.

Haha, my wife would not appreciate me buying a new BD player simply because I can't play some Cinavia encodes :)

I've got DVDFab, but yeah...I am less than inclined to go through their BD copy feature. I just want my movies digitally stored on my server so I can stream them. I have faith that eventually Slysoft and/or DVDFab will have a solution. This is the first copy protection that has actually worked for the industry, but it always gets cracked.

Not certainly. Some watermarking technologies are so persistent, they stay recognizable if you encode with transparent quality again, they vanish only when you encode with a quality so low that the loss hurts.

Yeah, my understanding is that currently you cannot "encode out" cinavia from the audio track, or if you somehow manage to the audio track will be so damaged that it won't be worth it

just something on the cinavia stuff: I've read that people have cammed (used a video camera to record stuff in theaters) movies and the cinavia survives this
it's not a simple watermark in the audio track, it's actually embedded sound[s] (although supposedly inaudible) within the track

so simple encoding and such will most likely not be effective.
and for anyone like me this encoding/audio quality loss would be unacceptable.

I am not 100% certain that on every instance I've experienced so far (Social Network, The Losers, and The Tourist) has been encoded with a demux to .WAV, but I am pretty sure that's how it has been done because my standard is an AVCHD with 5.1 AC3.

I still don't completely understand Cinavia, but I have seen something about cam dubs being affected as well which seems very weird. Clearly, there is something that will either have to be stripped out or embedded to spoof the protection that exists in PS3s and other affected players. Why? Because my encodes for the iPad play just fine!

I guess it's not a HUGE deal since I have my HTPC server connected to my TV, but it is sorta annoying. Here's hoping DVDFab and Slysoft will race to fix this. So far, my hat's off to Cinavia for finding an anti-copy solution.

I've used this program (RipBot264 v1.16.5) quite a few times but have run into a bit of a snag lately and I can't seem to really figure out why. Lemme explain...

I have several movies with multiple audio streams and subtitle streams and I basically want to reduce the file sizes and eliminate the streams I don't need. Easy enough, right? Well, I'll load in a video, select the audio track I want and the subtitle track I want using the "selectable subtitles" tab. After I encode the video I have hardcoded subs and selectable subs. I have made sure under the "properties" tab that "permanent subtitles" says "do not use subtitles". Basically, I can't figure out why I end up with harcoded subs when if I played the file before the encode no hardcoded subs were present.

I still can't really find out what the issue is. I'm thinking of going back to RipBot264 v1.16.4 and see if that's the problem. I adjusted the RipBot264.ini file but I don't think that should have anything to do with this issue. Just for the hell of it though here is what it looks like...

If you preview the script and the subtitle shows automatically when you have selected "Do not use subtitle", then this fix will help you.
