What software do you use for playing those files? Is XBMC able to play those files?

MPC-HC (make sure that Vorbis decoder is enabled)

It's a standard AAC file, QAAC is just the encoder. So yes it should play fine in XBMC.

I have a constant problem in attempting to encode a BD which is MPEG-2, not AVC as usual.
I don't know what else might affect it but once my encode is done, it skips frames, or delays them and at times it's like there's two frames present at the same time in rapid succession.
It's very hard to explain. Atm I'm trying with Mulder's GUI if same stuff remains, but if not, it's something with RipBot.
edit: Tested. Encode w/o problems when encoding with Mulder's GUI. Apparently Ripbot doesn't like BDs with MPEG-2 coding...

I'll test one of my older blu-rays when i get home from work.

@chane2k1: Thank you, I appreciate it.
However, I think frankly you can chalk it up, like Atak usually does, to me not cherishing the robust nature of the program enough.
My avs scripts are constantly modified and even though it always works (though Atak believes it shouldn't) and I haven't had many problems I couldn't have solved on my own,
I think at this moment it's the case of employing, say, MAnalyse/MDegrain in conjunction with BD MPEG-2 source (still officially m2ts, but not 'structured' like AVC) which blows everything up.
I don't know what else to think because the exact same script worked flawlessly in Mulder GUI.
Don't want to clutter this thread. If you want to, I can PM my script, or keep the conversation there, whichever you guys see fit.

Go ahead and send me the script, I'll give it a go. If it gets too late i''ll just take it with me to work. haha, my workstation is faster anyway.

About this error on v.1.17.5
Error: The file 'E:\Temp\RipBot264temp\job1\2_subtitles_English.idx' could not be opened for reading: open file error.
Should the value in
//Blu-ray subtitles will be converted to SUB/IDX format for .mkv container. Smaller size and better compatibility with some players.
ConvertSUPtoSUB=1
be 1 or 0?
I should remind you there is no problem with the subs

i guess your pcs are alergic to odd numbers ;) my pcs work like charm with .3 .4 and .5. i suppose it has to be one of those unsolvable mysteries.

Why you remove 10bit Profile?

Just swap x264 folder content whatever you see fit, 10bit totally works, tested.

@Cauptain
30 fps is not a proper value. TV stations use 29.97 fps (30000/1001). Deinterlacing is enabled only if detected fps is either 25 or 29.97

Thanks for the replyAtak_Snajpera, however my capture program (AmarecTV) record only in 30, 50 or 60.
Can you enable it for any video independent of 25 or 29.97?
It would be very useful.

Helloes!
I'm trying to convert a wmv video file to mkv but ripbot says it cannot determine the fps and i must use the fps paramater in the .avs script.
OK so this looks pretty easy to follow, I find the temp folder, I edit the .avs file with notepad, add a fps parameter and then I save and exit. But the contents from the temp folder get deleted afterwards and then... I'm kinda confused with this and I'm probably missing something very obvious.
Please, I would need someone to guide me step by step.

Hello All,
I keep receiving the EAccessViolation in the Encoding client. I only get the message on certain Blu-Rays and after doing some research it fails everyone that has DolbyTrue HD as the audio track. Does not matter if you try down convert or copy stream. It fails after indexing at the point where the chunks are to be created (none are created). However, the program does convert these in stand alone mode without a problem. The conversion format is AVCHD.
Summary, DTS titles DE works but fails on TrueHD titles but will convert them in stand alone (non-DE) mode.
Thanks to all,
Atak (great program!) and everyone else for their responses.

Record your desktop with fraps or other similar software and upload video to www.mediafire.com. I want to see what is happening on your pc.
BTW. I do not think it has something to do with audio because audio is not encoded by client.
Are you using latest version from 02.01.2014? I've made silent update...

I do not understand much of it. I usually wore in windows 7.
Already gave this error in Windows 7 but I had formatted, then went to use and it was normal.
I have installed MPC (K-lite), can this be?
