so no one figure out how to install the right version ?I changed the ini file and that seemed to work for me.
I've wondered though if the issue is as simple as "different versions of Windows in different countries & time zones result in a different creation date for Haali". Maybe if you alter the date with Attribute Changer or something then RipBot will stop complaining...

Sometimes the COPY STREAM option for Audio is unavailable to me...it has happened both with the latest 1.13 but also the previous 1.12.Screenshot please.
Here's an example where the .ac3 is unchanged from the BD (640Kbps, 6-channel, not E-AC3) but RipBot264 doesn't show COPY STREAM as an option (though at least in this case it does give 640 as an option).
EDIT: I've now tried 1.12.0 and 1.11.5 and even re-installed old Haali and still no good. Wonder if RipBot264 depends on anything else in my setup that might be amiss. Using XP Pro x64 here (and am now going to try my old P4 machine).

I tried using v1.13.0 last night and am having some problems. I bypassed the check (i have the latest of the 3 required) and tried encoding The Bourne Supremacy (BD). I loaded up the .ts (contained only the video) and the .dts track, cropped the black bars and set the output as an mkv. When I hit start, couple seconds passed and 'All Jobs Finished' came up. Not exactly sure why this happened since I encoded the same movie with v1.12.0 and it worked just fine.
Now if I'm not mistaken, with v1.13.0 the CUT function is always on? If that's the case, it doesn't reflect it in the menu for v1.13.0. If the video was slightly longer than the audio in v1.12.0 and you switched between CUT and OFF, you could clearly see the difference. With v1.13.0, it doesn't show that anymore.

If you download another 64 bit x264 you'd replace x264_x64.exe, x264.exe is 32 bit.
I don't get it. What about the need for a 64bit AviSynth (and dito plugins!) then?

What about the need for a 64bit AviSynth (and dito plugins!)...
Maybe I am wrong, but:
Avisynth 32bit and plugins 32bit can be piped over avs2yuv.
YUV is a raw format x264 64bit can handle.
So it seems to be a hybrid solution.
And is good, as long overhead (pipeline and conversion) is smaller than gain from 64bit code.
At my Q9650 at 3.825 GHz new RipBot is around 6% faster.

Why do I feel like there will be a 1.14.0 soon? ;) Just busting your chops, Atak!
How well has RipBot worked for you guys on the Windows 7 64 bit Beta? I am debating installing AnyDVD and RipBot on that partition just to see how much faster, if at all, I can encode.
Right now, I am running Vista Home (32 bit) with a Q6700@3.33 GHz, 4 GB of 800MHz RAM @667 MHz (synced in SLi mode) on a 780i mobo and a single 1TB WD Black Edition HDD. The Windows 7 Beta is on a separate hard drive (just an old 500 GB that I had) with obviously the same equipment other than the hard drive.
I would love to hear from the guys who made the jump to the i7 setups from the quad processors about how much encoding sped up. I would love to have a good reason to build another rig ;)
Thanks!

All I see is it needing is a few small improvements so it might be good as soon as 1.13.5.
I am sure hes been fixing some if not all the issues found since release. So be patient he will get it fixed.
It doesn't take long to hit the back button on your explorer and use some of the other GUI's. :) Some are quite easy to use and most use the exact same codec and tool set.:p

Use the elementary streams.
Also some mp4box builds have issues with AC3 in .mp4. Another option in this case would be mp4muxer.
This takes 2 steps;
1) encode your video & audio (or just the video & retain AC3)
2) take the elementary video & audio to mux them in to .mp4 with mp4muxer

I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling various versions of FFDshow, both x86 and x64 (preferably), and v 1.12 works fine but not v 1.13. Any suggestions?

If you have v1.13.0 then go to the RipBot264 folder & look for RipBot264.ini then change this //RipBot264 will check if AviSynth, FFDshow and Haali Media Spliter are installed and will also check account type
CheckRequiredSoftware=1 change the 1 to 0 then save, it will work now.
v1.13.0 is the best RipBot264 to date so far. not only that but i get a smaller size in my mp4 when using the same settings as the source video with subs, two x264 64bit is faster then x264 32bit by 10% or more. three, the IQ is freaking sweet, i will post a picture soon of the mkv file to mp4.

@Atak: just for info
With Ripbot264 v1.13 I just finished encoding of Mummy Triology and Pirates of Caribian Triology.
I selected DTS-HD stream copy and changed --b-adapt to 2 and --subme to 9 to increase quality a bit.
All encodes had target size of DVD9 (8150MB).
All encodes were 3% undersized (display of ImgBurn 97% of disk space used).

Do you mean a dts => ac3 conversion (no video)? I don't think it can, I would use eac3to to do that. Another option would be foobar2000 with dts plugin
It looks like ripbot had errors when trying to do that conversion. Ripbot uses eac3to but try the standalone eac3to for the audio conversion. If you still have problems, post in the eac3to thread for help
nwg

Of course Ripbot can do DTS - AC3. Just select AC3 640kbps in the drop down box after selecting the DTS in the streams box. If something goes wrong then it is a Eac3to issue.
