Hi Atak,

I have an movie MKV audio track has 22s of delay. Did you know how to set an delay of 22sec manually (now only up and down feature) 22seconds could take very long. lol!

After conversion, 22sec (24fps to 23.976) audio is out of sync with no delay set.

Suggestion #1: Can we have an box choice to enter the digits ?
Suggestion #2: Can we have an check box option to copy video tracks into JOB folder (offer if only user check it) because for somebody 6 projects (6 videos tracks) can't take a lot of space.

i get no file at all at the end of the encoding .no trace .

Just wanted to know if anyone w/an Oppo BDP-83 has experienced any issue w/AVCHD discs lately? I convert a high volume of movies to AVCHD format using RipBot. I generally test before burning if everything is in sync, correct size, etc on my PC usually through Zoom Player or VLC. If everything is good, I then burn using Verbatim or Memorex DVD+R DL discs or BD25s. Never had this problem before & can't figure out when it started (I rarely get a chance to watch the movies I convert & burn for a little while) but when playing anything converted w/RipBot (or BD Rebuilder for that matter) over the last few versions, the movie is constantly "tearing" or breaking up. Regular BDs, DVDs, .avi files, etc still play great on the Oppo. I've upgraded the firmware & still have this problem. What really kills me when trying to figure this out is the movies play perfectly using: PS3, Samsung BDP-1400 or Sony BDP-350. Obviously, the problem is the Oppo but before throwing this at their support team to look into, I wanted to see if I could try to find out what exactly may be the problem. If their is a bunch Oppo BDP-83 users here & no one else is seeing these problems, then maybe its a problem on my unit. The fact that I only get these problems w/encodes & the problem only shows itself on the Oppo is what gets me the most. I've asked this question over in the Oppo owners thread but haven't found anyone thats seen this issue. Will also look into over at the BD-Rebuilder forum here as well. Thanks for your time...

That was the problem! After unchecking that, my encode was perfect...I wish had noticed this earlier, now I have to re-encode a couple dozen movies over again :scared:

Why the target mp4 differs so much?

I use the same stream and same enconding settings but in different source container, vob and ts to test RipBot264. However, the result is really mysterious as the size of target mp4 differs a lot 150M+ vs 350MB+. Why is this big difference?

I've opened some sample m2ts files and was able to select streams but when I open m2ts files of a full rip made with AnyDVD stream discovery fails completely. eac3to stream discovery succeeds on these files. Doesn't use RipBot264 eac3to for stream discovery? Does it only work on m2ts files which don't contain language information? This would be a major limitation for non english countries like the lack of a second audio track, here in germany discs have streams for many languages and without displaying the language it's not possible to know which streams to choose. I checked two RipBot264 guides which both told to open the largest m2ts file but this does really fail on my file, for two sample files I downloaded it works.

How come now my Ripbot Icon in the taskbar used to be yellow when encoding, and now ever since I had that issue last week with the weird I error, it stays black and shows it encoding. Is that meaning there's something wrong my Ripbot?

I had the same problem with 1.15, but it was actually related to ArcSoft failing the FLAC encode, causing the entire demux to fail and the .mkv to be deleted. Go into the job1 folder and paste the log.

I also find it interesting that Atak decided to start including the ArcSoft files with the program. We used to have to get the files ourselves. What made you decide to do that, Atak?

Seems it is the audio itself, I tried opening it with many other programs with no great luck.

I was able to convert another movie just fine so I know it isn't a ripbot issue.

After removing it works. I have typed this germanic umlaut (ä ü ö) by hand, this means it is ANSI encoded which is weird since I never seen a application fail on ANSI chars before, how is that even possible?

Would a BD backup run at CQ18 resized to 720p would be better quality than a 1080p CQ18 backup of the same movie, based on the 720p's higher bitrate v the 1080p's extra pixel count?

Also, would they end up being similar file size?

In Constant Quality mode 1080p will have higher bitrate due to higher resolution.

AVI files to MP4 files. I tried with a short clip but it seemed fine so I converted the whole file (about 800MB) and a slightly audio delay there. Can it be cause by my AviSynth? I have 2.6.0.

PS: I'll try 1.14.6 just to see which is the problem.

I'm hoping someone can help with a frustrating issue: forced subtitles. I have tried to backup District 9 and a couple other disks that use forced subtitles, and expereminted extensively. I have read this thread until it becomes blurry and haven't gleaned the needed info. Can some kind person post a walkthrough of how to insert the subtitles for folks as obtuse as myself? Thanks!
