Thanks for the new version especially the closing x264.exe workaound, sup resize support and vobsub support both seem to work well. Even though I never use it I also like the zoomed crop preview, at first it looks confusing but once you try it it's easier then having the full size frame on the screen.

Out of curiosity is there any benefit to keep the directshow/preferred filter in Windows 7?
How it is currently locks out all other directshow decoders except ffdshow from directshowsource. Removing the preferred key resolves this issue.

Another thing is now that there's sup resize and vobsub support could the subtitle selected from the select streams window be added automatically to the project?
TSMuxer supports up to 32 subtitles as far as I know. Could there be multiple subtitle selection from the select streams window?
Is there any chance of fixing subtitle preview for sup and unicode srt?

Is there a chance of an option to set larger font of the check box titles or just change to a larger font?

If you program has resolution and framerate info is there a chance to ensure level compliancy of reference frames and vbv max bitrate (maybe only when AVCHD compatibility is checked)?
For example 1280x720: 4.x max is 9 reference frames, 4.0 = 25 mbps max bitrate, 4.1 = 50 mbps max bitrate
and 1920x1080: 4.x max is 4 reference frames
b-pyramid no longer affects the reference count.
Also would it make sense to have current HD, bluray, Console profile renamed to AVCHD, Console or something and have another profile named Blu-Ray that has max bitrate of 40-45 mbps to prevent undersized BD25 with the current profile?

Any chance to add --tff to x264.exe.cmd when it's encoding interlaced?
Another thing could be using an avisynth function like 'last.getparity() ? 1 : 0' to tell field order and set tff or bff accordingly, tff is much more common however.

TSMuxer bluray output isn't needed unless you are outputting VC-1 to play on a Panasonic BD player which you aren't. In all other situations AVCHD is a lot heavier tested and working fine. The only real issue issue I can see targeting a BD25 is undersize due to max bitrate of 25 mbps in the bluray profile.

I have the same problem, always makes C:\Temp no matter what temp folder is set to in .ini. The only way I found to not make at least 2 temp directories is setting it to C:\ which I don't want to as it slows the OS way down. While I would appreciate if this was fixed I'd much more appreciate an option to delete meaningless temp folders on exit.

Even though AVCHD is now labelled as the output. It still has the normal BD file structure just like before instead of a AVCHD one which has less folders.

So I just tried encoding my first flick using 1.14 by converting the PCM track off the disc to 5.1 AAC. Unfortunately, RipBot keeps telling me that the final movie size is 220mb. When I tell it to go ahead and encode it takes about 15 seconds and then tells me it is done encoding. It never even gets to starting the video. If I add just the video it calculates the final size at 3400mb, but if I add the wav file it drops to 220mb. I never had this problem with 1.13. Now, I am using Win7 x64 if that is any help, but this is real puzzler for me. I am thinking the wav64 has something to do with it, but I haven't a clue how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Change to Top Field First under de-interlace.

I changed to TFF under de-interlaced and that cleared up the PQ issues. However, now the audio seems to be out of sync, any thoughts? I have a box set of the Chappelle Show. I ripped each episode individually to Video_TS and now am converting them to mkvs using Ripbot. This is the first time I have had an audio sync problem. thx

I have discovered that the PCM track I was trying to encode was 7.1. Since I am not sure if that is the problem or not I am going to rip a disc with 5.1 PCM and see if that works properly.

* Update: Apparently it doesn't matter whether it is 5.1 or 7.1, I get the same result. I did notice that both show they are only 6+ minutes long in RipBot, but the wav file is over 4GB. I suspect the problem is that the file IS over 4GB and it is only reading the amount over 4GB (WAV format issue?). Until someone can help me, I guess it is back to 1.13 for me....

I don'T relly want to burn the converted movie, I just want a .m2ts to play on the PS3 without resizing the movies. It was working in the previous version. Looks like for the movies with audio delays Ripbot was automatically calculating a delay. I brought this down to zero and still get a delay (although much better). I will have to keep playing around with this.

I was taking some of my son's cartoons that I have on DVD (Curious George) and using RipBot to encode to mkv (Profile 4.0 -> CQ -> 22) yet the Deinterlace/Decimate option is not enabled? Not sure it really matters, just curious.

I am glad(?) someone else is seeing the problem as well. RipBot does not report an error per se, but simply shows the movie final size as 200mb with the audio anywhere from 6 mins to -6 minutes. I have looked through the logs and found nothing suspicious. I almost wonder if the problem is stemming from eac3to.

Essentially what you're doing is making a backup of your existing Ripbot tree (including the sub directory) and installing the latest version. The latest version will have updated tools, etc.

AVCHD does not support cropped resolutions. Period.

Decimate is only available for NTSC sources (29.97fps or 59.94fps). In PAL (25 or 50fps) world live is simpler and we don't have to use that option.
Deinterlace is not available if source has 23.976fps. That kind of combination simply does not exists :)

After a few suggestions, I'm trying out Ripbot for the first time. I've ripped my BD to my HDD using AnyDVD. I've loaded up the largest m2ts file and set my preferences in ripbot. I'm having a weird issue though. The video says it is 2hrs 6mins but the audio only says it is 1min45sec. What am I doing wrong?

You have the same issue I do. The time on your video is fine but look at the time on your audio (5mins 21secs). Something is definitely not right.
