Just installed fresh Win7 x64 and RipBot264 1.15.1. After demux, it hangs on "Gathering Information..." Win7codecs installed as well. Never had a problem with these two being installed together previously, with the exception of having to install the older Haali splitter to be able to use RipBot264. Win7codecs has to stay, ffdshow+haali is not enough for me.

There are plenty of tools that use eac3to. See some guides I have put together here:
http://www.mediasmartserver.net/tag/mkv/
I still have to get a guide together for Ripbot as time dictates

I have the same issue too on the latest release (v1.16.0) and previous release (v1.15.1), where it just seems to hang on "Gathering Information..." after it demuxes. I'm also running with Windows 7 Home Premium x64... :(
Worked fine when I was running with Windows Vista Home Premium x64 but not since I went to Windows 7

close ripbot
remove (uninstall from appwiz.cpl/control panel) haali / ffdshow
delete ripbot's temp folder
uninstall / delete ripbot
reboot pc
extract / reinstall ripbot
install haali
install ffdshow (try a newer one, I have 3466 now and it seems to be running fine)
not sure if any of that will do ya any good....but give it a try

Hi Atak,
I formatted my pc but the problem still continues!
Shows the following message below:
"The program can not be started because it is missing Tools / MediaInfo / MediaInfo.DLL on your computer. Try to reinstall it to solve this problem."
Soon after comes this screen.

@Soneca
If you have spaces in path you must ALWAYS use " " !!! for example "C:\Downloads\RipBot264 v1.16.0"
Is there anything we can do to get past the software check? I use Win7codecs and have the latest version installed which has the newest Haali. I needed to modify the registry entry for the ffdshow version so Ripbot264 doesn't complain but I'm stuck with the Haali check.
Any workaround to this? Thanks.

Not sure if it was this installer or uninstalling MediaInfo 7.33 x64 but I can confirm after using this installer and getting rid of MediaInfo x64, the gathering information hang is gone. :thanks:
