If it is only the background - you can prepare few shades and I'll pack them in one update and add option for carousel-style background.

I don't understand your problem/question. "Poster image" in Title properties is not available yet.

That's what I meant. For example carusel and instead of movie frame as thumb I would love to have poster jpg.
Otherwise great application - I will not mind paying for it in the future. Regards. marek

If you're importing "movie.mkv" and you have "movie.jpg" in the same folder - it will be used as poster image.
Take time to read the first post of the thread and the tutorial, instead of "trying for hours".

Thanks for that, I am using all the settings that you have said as above, my guess is that it will be the file names then, I will try to add the larger files and see what happens... thanks for clarifing as I was starting to think I was going nutty...
@pel0quin:
Did you solve that issue? I'm experiencing the same.
I've checked all filenames. They are in long format.
For me it only works for input media marked with [f]. My AVCHD folder is marked with [p] and tsmuxer 1.9.9 does not split at desired size.
@deank:
what does [f], [p] and[m] in the media tab mean?

Dean- Perhaps a bug? Build 612. Add m2ts file and use editor to edit name. One click (turns red) and get message: (RT)Failure to write(c:\multiTH\DSHP.avs) (invalid filename)-Line 4258. Then program crashes, Why? BTW Brilliant work!

Hi Dean,
a feature request: How about audio playback in background during the time when menus are shown? It already works well for the welcome screen but it would be nice to have custom audio also for the menus.
thanks

Sorry if this questions been ask before i tried searching the thread and didn't come up with anything.
So im doing a multiAVCHD with anime files and the subtitles are getting cut off from the beginning to end if the line is to long. For instance if the first word was "What" i would only see like "hat" and it would end on the other side of the screen with a word cut half way off also. How do i fix this? i tried changing the font size smaller and it help a bit but there's some lines that are just to long.
I have an sony z4100 screen option wide mode is on Full and display area is on Normal because it doesn't give me the option of full pixel while in vide

No matter how big your screen is - they will go off the sides.
Load your subtitles in Subtitle Workshop or any other subtitle-editor-application and make sure you don't have lines over 40 characters.
In Subtitle Workshop you can simply do the line-split by:
1) Load .srt file
2) Select all subtitles (Ctrl-A)
3) Split long line (Ctrl-E)
4) Save (Ctrl-S)

I forgot to compress bottom_lines.bmp to bottom_lines.png. You will save more than 830 KB without quality loss.

Hi Deank,
Me again. Have you solved the problem with Roman about TXMuxer?
I re-post my problem: after having cut commercials (with different programs), I have a perfect .ts file.
But, when passed through MultiAVCHD (or simply through TXMuxer) to build a BR disc, I have sound and image de-sync.
Whatever I do!
It's really annoying!
thanks deank it fits good now =)

Hello,
I've just tested the "slide menu" compilation and it's a good option for create a AVCHD with only one title (but with acces to chapters).
Just a remark and a request : Can you provided in next build the option "no reflections...." for the title thumbnail like as the option avialable for carroussel menu.
With custom background the reflection is not always a good rendering.
Thank.
drelin

After few test with Slide menu and Caroussel menu, I''ve detected a little bug with navigation buttons display on the chapter thumbnails.
Some time if a go to :
Title thumbnails to 1st chapter = display of button for chapter thumbnails are correct.
But if if return to the title thumbnails and another time go to 1st chapter thumbnail = 2 arrows button ar displayed in same time (tested on PDVD software, I don't know yet if the same result on satndalone player).
I hope this explaination is clear, if not just make a test with alternate navigation between title and chapters for see what I mean.
And at end, a suggestion for ergonomic navigation between title and chapter thiumbnails in Slide and Carrousel menus :
For the fist and the last chapters thumbnails the UP nagivation action go to title but not for the chapters inserted on this 2 elements, if you can modify to have the same reaction for all chapters thumbnails with the UP (or Down) action = GO to the title thumbnail.

Following the many new builds of multiAVCHD you cannot be a human beeing, you must be one of the old greek or roman gods, reborn from Jupiter's crew! ;)
But wait!
I will upload some suggestions in a RAR to RapidShare with some screenshots, questions, suggestions and specs for:
1. a Table-of-Content-like Chapter Menu
2. Aspect Ratio / Overscan issue playing 720 x 480 NTSC anamorphic in AVCHD mode
Please, take your time to have a look at it and then decide, if you can do all or part of it on the fly.
multiAVCHD is becoming the DVD-lab for AVCHD! :)
Will send you a PM when upload will be finished.

P.S. Upload (http://rapidshare.com/files/237174515/Some_ideas__questions_and_specs_for_multiAVCHD.rar) (12863 KB) finished.

Hi, I have a problem.
The last version isn't able to create a disc compatible with PS3, while it works perfectly with powerdvd.
I try to create a BR or a AVCHD but PS3 recognise it as "Data disc".
I notice that multiavchd create always the folder "HDAVCTN".
I try to delete it but the PS3 continues to recognised it as a "Data disc"
Please help me.
Thanks.

Make sure you:
1) Load your files
2) Click start
3) Select "AVCHD for optical media"
4) multiAVCHD will create AVCHD folder
4) Burn its contents (BDMV folder) to a DVD-RW disc.
*** You got me worried, so I just burned a compilation to a DVD-RW disc and (of course) it works perfectly as expected in my PS3.

I'm not making it BEAUTIFUL or something...
The basic operation flow is now completely changed, allowing the user to control all before clicking the START button.
Title Properties is mainly affected by the changes, because one can control everything about a title in this prop-box.
Here is a preview of some of the changes and options in Title properties:
http://multiAVCHD.deanbg.com/multi_TE.jpg
You can see there are a lot of controls and settings for each title, before you start the compilation.
Projects can be saved and loaded + many other changes.

This may help??
Current version v2.7 b613,
Settings > Delete all files in temp folder UNchecked
BUT all files in temp folder(except mediainfo.txt) get deleted.
Sometimes I would need to keep for instance the result of the first demux step:
D:\_TEMP\avidump.264
D:\_TEMP\avidump.ac3
In general, intermediate result could be quite handy, sometimes.
Please make that work again in the next release!

Deank,
May I suggest you to use Aften instead of FFmpeg to transcode to AC3 format ? Aften is multithreaded...
for Stereo Input:
FFmpeg -i input.mkv -vn -acodec pcm_s16le -ac 2 -f wav - | aften.exe -readeof 1 -b 384 - output.ac3
Multichannel Input:
FFmpeg -i input.mkv -vn -acodec pcm_s16le -ac 6 -f wav - | aften.exe -readeof 1 -b 448 - output.ac3
In addition, is it normal that when I select a specific frame as thumbnail (not frame 0), the preview doesn't use it ?

It's not depend on filenames. As I wrote above, after changing folders order in Media window, first (ex-second) folder passing OK, second (ex-first) give error. I'd try use very short folder names - all the same.
