Hi all,
Anyone know if multiAVCHD can create a proper AVCHD structure for Panasonic Lumix cameras (specifically DMC-TZ series)? I tried to force multiAVCHD to do so using the "Panasonic Lumix" structure preset but it hasn't worked. Also, why does multiAVCHD's output always have "35.5 Mbps" for "Maximum overall bit rate" when the .MTS video file is analyzed with MediaInfo?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
Could somebody please help me with this issue?
My multiAVCHD have not processing the main movie sometimes, the authored disc does not containing the main movie. :(
I trying a specific disc today to compress the bonus content, and throw out the unnecessary dubs from the movie. Unfortunatelly, it has 3 playlists for the (single m2ts) movie, but when i tried to keep the "original", and blank the others, multiAVCHD only processed the bonus content and the menus, but not the movie. Tried to blank this, and keep the other two, but the outcome was the same: no movie, only bonus...

Hi,
I'm new to the program, and I've encountered a few issues when trying to create my Blu-ray.
I want to retain lossless audio, but it keeps downconverting my PCM to AC3, even though I uncheck all of the conversion boxes.
I then attempted to do it using the source TrueHD file, but it won't even import it into the project, even though it's listed in one of the conversion options.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Jason

You can try to set correctly the title menu and the chapter menu, but I don't remember if you can choose the number of images per page.

Quick question, when you have m2ts ready for the blu-ray and it can fit into a BD25, did anyone found a way to avoid convertions?
No matter what I do MultiAVCHD keep re encoding my files while they fit perfectly fine into a BD25.

Is it a standard resolution ?
You can also make AVCHDs without re-encoding with tsMuxer but without menus.

Under the Author tab, set the value higher in General to avoid the transcoding.

I'm a multiAVCHD newbie, admittedly, but no matter what I try, every attempt to create a BluRay menu fails. I've tried disabling the Top Menu (previously tried XMP, then Carousel type) and choosing only the title list menu, but it always fails due to the following error:
Failure to mux menu and to create playlist [00xxx.mpls]
Error muxing title-list menu page #1!
I'll post the whole log below, but my questions are:
Is there a known solution to this problem?
Else, can I create a menu in some external tool and import it into multiAVCHD instead? If so, how?
For the record, my system passed all MultiTests.

Obligatory "clearly made an account just to ask this one question because I'm in over my damn head" post here. Forgive the size, I'm super wordy and I've been trying to sort this out for quite some time so I've a lot of talk piled up in my brain on the matter.
So I've used MultiAVCHD a couple of times to add audio and subtitle tracks to BDMVs and it's mostly worked out pretty well after some trial and error.
My next few intended projects are TV Series BDs instead of movies and those ones are a bit more complex authoring-wise for me. So I understand from the first page which I've gone over lots of times over the last year or so on various projects that series and multiple cuts are harder to work with, and the tutorial doesn't actually apply to the way the discs I'm working with are authored (neither have individual playlists for each episode for example). I've come to the conclusion that the most painless way to achieve what I'm after is to just mux the new audio and subtitle tracks into each m2ts stream file and replace the originals.
Of course I'm also aware that just muxing the new stuff in will result in a disc that won't play. I know that I need to work with the IN and OUT times in some way but I've never found a good explanation of how those work that made any sense to me (I've seen lots of people just say what to do with them, but if I don't understand what they are or how they work I can't adapt it to my project).
Basically to disregard all this context I've given; is there a simple and painless way to just completely replace the video streams with almost identical files while still keeping the disc otherwise unchanged? Alternatively is there a way to use MultiAVCHD to add streams to the video files themselves rather than the playlists? As some of my discs only have the master playlist with all episodes at once, and some have multiple playlists for one episode (despite only having one m2ts file for the episode), I fear it'll be too complicated to work off the playlists.
I'd also be interested in editing the menu to read in English and add options for my new audio/subs but I fear that'll get way too messy so I'm not very fussed about that.
So if anyone here is familiar with achieving what I want (basically anyone who works with Anime series BDs will probably know exactly what my issues are), any help would be seriously appreciated. I've been trying to get this going for quite some time now and I've given up on trying to learn on my own.

Thanks, I'll give it another go next weekend after going over these a couple of times, unfortunately the IN and OUT time still throws me for a loop but maybe if I do a bit of trial and error with that I might figure it out because that seems to specifically be where I'm falling short.

This question has been asked once in this forum, some 250 posts ago :), in the good old times when the author still answered questions, but never answered (there were two questions and only the last one has been treated). Actually it has been asked a second time, but being related to "pirated material" it wasn't answered.
Finding that error line in the log of multiAVCHD I thought that BDSubToSup has problems with java. Found that tool in its directory and double-clicked onto it - it started and worked with no problems. Not even the addition of the java and java/bin directories in the PATH variable changed something.
I am not really 100% sure but it worked once, however I do not remember if I carried out any modifications to the system apart from installing new software.
So, has anyone any idea what exactly this error message means and/or how to prevent its occurrence?

in the past I used multiavchd many times successfully. Now, it is failing me almost every time. It makes the folders and they look normal but when I burn to disc using imgburn, the disc does not play on my recentl blu-ray players
I have used tsmuxer on the same exact file and that usually works but multiavchd can handle putting in multiple files with different bit rates, etc so that is why I need to get it working on my windows 10 computer
If you use multiple files on tsmuxer, you have to join them during the process and that usually causes the audio and video to get out of sync
Has anyone else noticed this ? also, is there a way to make the avchd or blu-ray folder structure and then just add videos to it an then burn ?
I'm not sure what has happened with multiavchd

Is it possible to burn HDV M2T files (1440x1080) to Bluray using multiavchd? Which other Bluray authoring software supports HDV files?
Ghitulescu

1440x1080 is a perfectly valid BD resolution.
Therefore all editing and authoring suites MUST support it, even more when it's also a standard format, HDV; and not whatever downloaded one (Youtube or other sources, grey to dark :) )

It depends on whether the .mts file contains the appropriate stream meta-data...

Probably FFmpeg (in command line).
Changing to TS works. Although PowerDVD 13 can't play the 1 minute video Bluray folder created. Fortunately, the one multiAVCHD creates plays fine.
What would the commands for FFMPEG to rewrap M2T files to MOV/MP4 files without re-encoding/transcoding?
Edit: I found one through googling.
ffmpeg -i "input.mts" -vcodec copy -acodec pcm_s16le "output.mov"
Hi all,
Recently upgraded my pc, new install etc.
I had been using BD-RE Builder to make 12gb files to make "multi" film discs using MultiAVCHD, but after the rebuild, when i click make menu in MultiAVCHD, i get this error
[13:29:39] Avisynth is not working properly! Menu will not available!
[13:29:39] Re/Install Avisynth 2.58, ffdshow, haali splitter.
I have installed all these, from the BD-RE Builder links (Avisynth 0.60) etc...
MultiAVCHD used to work on the "old PC". Not sure what is going on but any help appreciated.
I've tried reinstalling ffdshow and haali splitter too. Which actually resulted in BD-RE Builder creating back ups out of sync... so reinstalled all again, and BD-RE Builder works fine again... just not MultiAVCHD.
Desperate for this to work please :)

Title movie search movie database offiline ? Any possible solution ?
That's my problem, too. Is there a possibility to enter somewhere in the program a new link to a new database, so that this feature will work again?
Second Question:
Three custom templates are integrated. Does someone have more than that or knows, where I can download some?
Third Question:
The default Backround sound sample is nice, but after using it for years, I can't hear it anymore. Does someone have some other loop-samples with that duration of 32 seconds?
Thanks in advance!!!
P.s.:
Please Dean, continue your great work on this program. Although it is old, it is still the best one for creating AVCHDs and Blurays. Unfortunately it is still buggy. If you would continue I would even buy it, because it's great.

I'm a little confused. BDRB can be used to make a disc with multiple items on the menu. I use it to make BDs of TV show episodes. So, if you have more than one movie you want to fit on a BD-25, or BD-50, BDRB will do that just fine.

When I play back an authored AVCHD or BD on my xbox one it locks up on the menu. I've tried slide, carousel & xmb.. Is there a setting to make it play correctly? The same content is fine on a PS3 or stand alone player.. discs created with tsmuxer work fine on the xbox. thanks..
Hello !
I have exactly the same problem. My Blu-Ray burned with MultiAVCHD works on a computer but not on XBOX ONE. The menu launches properly, the background music too, but impossible to navigate the menu. No button on the remote control responds. Is there a solution ? I search with BDEdit but the software is complex and although I think I have identified where the "navigation" part of the menu, I do not know what to change for it to work...
I know that MultiAVCHD will not have any more updates, but I should be able to do something... No?
Thank you to the entire community and happy new year :) !

You could try using a chaep blu-ray player like the versatile sony x700. It even plays 4k L5.1AVC 'blu-ray" disc.

Thank you for your answer, but it was not really the question ... Yes, the Blu-Ray works without problems on other players, but my question was whether it is possible to play Blu-Ray with functional menus on XBOX ONE.
