Hi dean,
i tried with 1 episode and the same thing happens, in the menu if i choose title 1 it goes back to the menu.
besides that - 3 mts files are for the movie in stream folder, 1st is 33 mins - works when played straight from the PS3. 2nd is 1 hour and something (should the larger one be first?) but it is the second part of the movie - but no sound when playing straight from PS3!! and third part 10 mins - just stuck, nothing moving when played straight.

here's my log:

I remember someone said earlier that PAL PS3 consoles are capable of playing PAL and NTSC content, but NTSC consoles can't handle PAL (25fps) content.

If you pass your file thru tsmuxer does it play on your PS3?

My (PAL PS3) plays everything, no matter if I choose PAL or NTSC menu or content.

Dean,

Whenever I try to edit the custom title (clicking edit on the media tab), the program crashes.

Will post the exact description of the error popup ASAP.

BTW, I'll donate next week, I promise!!

Forget about it, it stopped happening.

Cheers!

Yes, but AVCHD standard says that you can have 720x resolutions both 16:9 and 4:3, so we are missing something.

Can you send me a sample video of your encodes? I have captures of 720x576 (PAL) 4:3 and I can't make them play 4:3 - they play horizontally stretched in my PS3 - so I have the opposite problem :)

Hi Dean,

367 fixed it: now even my 1080i25 mov footage getīs its second audio track. No more REPLACING, now itīs an ADDING. The best would be, to let the people decide, if they wanne REPLACE or ADD an extra audio track.

did u use force 16:9 dean?

deank

I tried both with checked and unchecked. Both times PS3 plays it fine.

If unchecked - TMT displays wrong AR.
If checked - TMT plays it in 16:9.

Looks the same with forced 16:9 and not.

Go to Options / Video (Nero Showtime) and uncheck [x] Keep aspect ratio...

Then you can stretch video manually until it fits the correct AR.

Build 370:

* Some options are rearranged
* Bug was fixed - incorrectly setting 720p in clip files for 720x.... videos if Force 16:9 checkbox is used. Now 480p and 576p will be set properly.
* Added support for external AAC audio tracks.
* Added option to keep only external audio tracks
* Fixed: importing files with names, containing only zeroes - not showing in Title editor
* Fixed: when using "Delete" button in media tab - Title editor didn't show titles correctly
* Fixed: now colon ":" can be used in Title names in title editor
* Fixed: cutting last four letters of imported files names

Nearly 50000 downloads and just 26 donations ... people: come on, this tool is more than worth it to spend a little bit money.

Btw.,I will keep on reporting in german and englich post-production forums. Earlier or later, people will recognize the abilities of this programm.

As a mater of fact, it works and shows nicely :)

I'll test with more fonts and add them to a user-selectable list.

I did some tests and it happens that almost ALL fonts can be used for title names. Some adjustments are needed but it can be done.

177 is the correct code for windows-1255:

0 -- ANSI <- cp-1252 (MM)
1 -- Default
2 -- Symbol
3 -- Invalid
77 -- Mac
128 -- Shift Jis
129 -- Hangul <- cp-949 (?)
130 -- Johab <- cp-1361
134 -- GB2312 <- cp-936 / cp-950
136 -- Big5 <- as above
161 -- Greek <- cp-1253
162 -- Turkish <- cp-1254
163 -- Vietnamese <- cp-1258
177 -- Hebrew <- cp-1255
178 -- Arabic
179 -- Arabic Traditional
180 -- Arabic user
181 -- Hebrew user
186 -- Baltic <- cp-1257
204 -- Russian <- cp-1251
222 -- Thai <- cp-874
238 -- Eastern European <- cp-1250
254 -- PC 437
255 -- OEM

I don't know if this other Mac or Hebrew User can help.

Build 376:

* Added charsets 77 and 177
* Title font is now selectable in Authoring

I added more than 40 fonts for you to choose of. I tried to add all kinds of font-scripts - Cyrillic, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese...

If for some reason fonts don't work for you or menu lines are not aligned with the navigational arrow - use Courier New.

Guys, one question

If I have video in 2 parts but subtitles in one part, so do I must divide the subtitle file in two parts also right or is there any easier solution, can I add files as APPEND instead ADD in multiAVCHD? It will be a good feature.

Anyway, great program.

Can you also add the Impact font ? I am pretty sure it's going to work as well. I wonder why you don't include the full font list (just tile the custom title font), and let us choose what is working or not. There is always the solution of courier after all :)

deank
13th February 2009, 14:16
No, not all fonts work and I can't add all, because each font requires specific offset setting to make first letter of a title to be positioned next to the navigational arrow. It is different for each font.

I'll add impact too.

Build 379

* Impact font added
* Input playlists handling is re-written
* Initial release to support multiple playlists in imported AVCHD folders

If imported AVCHD folder is:

*** created with multiAVCHD (builds 343+) title names will show automatically in Title editor
*** created with older multiAVCHD - title names will be set to "Older multiAVCHD compilation title#xx" in Title editor
*** not created with multiAVCHD - - title names will be set to "AVCHD compilation title#xx" in Title editor

NB! At this point if such folders/compilations with multiple playlists are added - YOU SHOULD NOT use UP/DOWN/DELETE buttons in Media tab or title names will get messed.

If input AVCHD folder has ONLY ONE TITLE (PLAYLIST) you can proceed as before and edit/rearrange media items in Media tab.

You can see if a folder is created by multiAVCHD in Media tab:

[m] - multiAVCHD compilation
[d] - AVCHD folder
[f] - MKV/TS/MOV/MPEG file

Also you will see information in LOG tab for imported folders.
Please share your experience on this.

Hi Dean!

i finally got hebrew subtitles to work when using multiAVCHD in mac (with crossover) - it all had to do with language settings in crossover iteslf (similar to the option of "default language for non-unicode programs" in XP's language settings). now i use the 177 code page and subtitles show fine, even menu titles can be written in hebrew.

so, if there are any other non-english users over there on mac who need this: here's how to set up language in crossover:
http://www.codeweavers.com/support/docs/crossover-mac/faq#id2501616
(question 2.8)

Keep up the good work!
