You CAN"T add files INTO existing folder. You need to chose NEW folder to receive OLD multiAVCHD structures + the newly added files.
psme
3rd April 2009, 19:32
I see. So I need to manually rename the old AVCHD to other name, add it and multiAVCHD can still see all the titles in the old AVCHD folder, right?

Li On

Yes... multiAVCHD doesn't care about folder names, so you can name it anything you like... or simply choose "Custom name" for your output folder.

Build 495:
You can now edit all 40 title names in EDITOR tab (if you have more than 28 you can).
Thank you Deank for this. I was really waiting for this......
Just the poster implementation to come and my dreams are fullfilled!:D

How to combine them? And how does tableview look?
The biggest limitation is max. of 15 navigational buttons.
http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6451/avcmenu.th.png (http://img10.imageshack.us/my.php?image=avcmenu.png)
chapter would popup after pressing DOWN button and
tableview should popup after pressing UP button in coverflow
http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3447/tableview.th.png (http://img6.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tableview.png)
User could return to cover flow by DOWN button
I will upload avs script tomorrow

I keep getting this error on 2 mkv files.
(RT) Floating point division by zero - Line 7796
Both have srt subtitles. If I remove the subs, it goes through without errors.
Other mkvs with subs and everything don't have any problems, but I can't get past these 2.
Any ideas?
Great program BTW.
Edit:
Forgot to say I'm getting the error when preparing custom menu, XMB chapters part.

There is something wrong with your built-in chapters or subtitles have incorrect values - for example you have time-stamp in subtitles pointing to 01:01:01 (one hour 1 min) but your video is just 40mins.
You can simply disable internal chapters

* 1440x1080 (anamorphic 16:9) will get subtitles resized properly for video plane area 1920x1080 (thanks to drpaulng)
* multiAVCHD and uncropMKV will now show a warning box if user is trying to launch the programs multiple times (suggested by drpaulng).

I don't know where you can see that info, but I checked my files and there's nothing like that in any of them.
I still belive it's something wrong with the subtitle files, that's why I found and used others, just made sure they're not the same ones, and still end up with the same problem.
Too bad I need subs.

Disable original chapters!
Go to MUXER tab and click ADD CHAPTERS EACH 5 MIN.
You can also send me the subtitles (the email is in about-tab).
The problems you have can be caused by MKV file with WRONG duration/framecount information.

Here are two small samples (download size 43kb) to test uncropped video playback in SAPs... i.e. 1920x800 to play centered in 1920x1080.
I'll appreciate if someone with Sony or Panasonic player can test it (burn to DVD) and post back what they see.
It is one minute sample.

Here is a file you can put in your multiAVCHD folder:
multiLANG_eng.txt (http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/multiLANG_eng.txt)
You can try to localize your multiAVCHD. Leave the name multiLANG_eng.txt or use multiLANG.txt.
This is just a test version, so be really careful to follow the instructions in the head of the file:
#########################################################################################################
# multiAVCHD language sample (English - original)
# Dean Kasabow - April 5th, 2009
#
# DO NOT EDIT FIRST COLUMN! (LABEL)
#
# COLUMN 2 (Text) will be displayed in the GUI
# COLUMN 3 (Hint) will be displayed when hovering the mouse over an option
#
# DO NOT USE | sign in texts or hints
#
# USE # sign to comment a line and leave original text in english or simply delete the line
#
# LABEL|TEXT|HINT
#
#########################################################################################################
Example: the first line to translate is:
browseAVCHD|AVCHD/BDMV folders|Click to add AVCHD/BD compatible folders
So you don't touch the things in red like the first column and the "|" characters.
One user requested to start the German translation.
I may later add more labels to the example file. Just test to see if multiAVCHD will show specific letters from your native language alphabet.
You can remove lines or move them around - there is no order restriction. You can add comments everywhere (starting a line with # char).
Dean
p.s. I read in another forum (http://www.hdtv.com.pl/forum/showthread.php?t=12516&page=58) about an error: = (RT) Invalid array index (89). - Line 2305 - ... It is fixed now, too. Yes, update to build 499 and you'll find an option in settings [x] and delete video if removed :)

I think my mpeg2 HDV mov will not be processed by multiAVCHD when changed to mp4-container.
So just renaming the mov files does not make this files processable for multiAVCHD. When I take some Aiptek Action HD GVS 1080p60 files (mov) and load them into mpgstreamclip to save them as mp4 (no re-encoding), they are processed fine. Taking 1080p30 or 720p60 from this camera through mpgstreamclip, they are also processed by multAVCHD, but not played by PS3 (known problem in several boards so not a multiAVCHD problem).
Taking mov files from HD Podcasts or h.264 files from tutorials, they are not processed by multiAVCHD. But I did not expect this either.
I will test now with an AppleTV mov ...
