I don't use 364.5 whql cuz it always eats 100% gpu usage with all videos/all players here, don't know why...

I use latest Nvidia driver 364.51 from 08.03.2016
and with integrated MPC Video Decoder I get this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4y5u0gBKYqbQktLVjNwd0c0Nlk/view?usp=sharing

LAV Filters are fine:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4y5u0gBKYqba3B6VWtMbXdpck0/view?usp=sharing

Seems like there is a bug in MPC-Decoder or splitter (??) which you cannot use with the lastest Nvidia Driver, LAV Filters do work like you see.

your lav is run with software decoding (0% video engine means sw decoding..), come on...

I disabled for my very old grafics card the internal DXVA filters.

Now it's perfect, thank you wanezhiling for your help, time goes by, I think I must upgrade ;-)
Are there new cards coming out the next time so I should wait, or are there very new ones already on the market?

Where can I read what framerates at what codecs the cards support?

Last week rtlxl.nl has fortified their servers and only by specifying a useragent can FFMpeg open the m3u8-playlist.

As MPC-BE (as well as MPC-HC) can't play the hls videostream, is it possible to add an option to enter a useragent?

Kind of unrelated but that's the first time I've seen a "HTTP 418 I'm a teapot" error in the wild. Someone at rtlxl.nl has a sense of humour.

The name should be in the file name of the screenshot, so maybe use a viewer displaying the file name even in fullscreen as lay-over.

The portable version of IrfanView solved my problem, many thanks for an excellent idea :) .

Hello everyone,

I need help. I'm experiencing dropped frames when watching 60P videos. Using MPC-BE + LAV + MadVR. I've tried multiple settings and players but nothing works. Some just drop less than the others. All other videos run fine. Only 60P ones cause frame drops.

My CPU is Intel Core i7 6700K, and I'm using the integrated graphics card. Windows 10. My monitor - http://postimg.org/image/ygl37m7lz/
Running 1920x1080@60Hz. Also, I'm using Software Decoding since I see no difference using DXVAs.

Fullscreen MPC-BE - http://postimg.org/image/k7rb2vjzj/full/
Windowed Mode MPC-BE - http://postimg.org/image/9d6d00z5z/full//

Could someone please tell me what to tweak, in order to fix this? This is a 10 minute video and I get a few frame drops in Fullscreen every time (no, not the ones at start of playback). However, in Windowed Mode I get thousands. Wondering how to get rid of them all, if possible. Or at least have the same number of dropped frames in Windowed Mode, as I have in Fullscreen mode.

If you need more information, please say so.

I'll do anything. Thanks in advance to everyone!

Bet you its madVR related. Lower your settings or change renderer and retest.

If you have no issues with any other renderer then if you still need help post in the madVR forum.

no, I have the configuration in the ini and all "filenames" and "filepositions" are empty resp. "0"

ok, some clarification :
I'm using Win8.1x64;
even when I push down UAC to the lowest, I need to start MPC-BE as Administrator in order to be able to change settings in the *.ini; obviously MPC-BE is not able to write into the ini-file, if started as standard user...

is it because I'm using MPC-BE with integrated madVR from Shark007...his codecs are also enforcing UAC...

or is this a Standard behaviour of Win8.1?

you don't need admin rights to change settings.

install an normal version to the default folder and try that again.

MPC-BE don't support hls, so it can play it only with LAVSource. You can ask it's author for useragent change.

the installer doesn't allow you change the folder so try this:

get a portable version or copy the mpc be folder to another folder that is not your program files folder like c:/mpc-be.

yet again you don't need the to store your settings in the ini.

mpc-be is working totally fine by not letting you select store settings in ini. because it simply doesn't have the rights to do that in the current folder.

Klaus1189

Yeah, I don't use ini file, but it is usable for portable installation.

I changed this:

Youtube->Initial buffer size=1 Mb, instead of the default 5 Mb.

And now I don't get sound (most of the time), only image. If I restart the video a few times, sound magically appears.

Changed back to 5 Mb and everything is working as usual.

Bug?

Thanks

The whole "Initial buffer size" section is just removed in commit 1386, so nothing to play with since the next nightly. BTW default is 3 Mb.

Is it possible to implement seamless/gapless AVCHD playback? I remember when I tested Potplayer some time ago it seems to support it. AVCHD files are normally split into 4GB files. So if you record longer than about 22-23 Minutes in 1080p50 with a camcorder like my X900M then you have more than one files. If you just add it into playlist, there is an audio gap. That feature would help me a lot.
