Is it possible to add Unified Remote to MPC-BE like MPC-HC ?
Only if:
1 - we have source from author(server side).
2 - ask author for it.

Hi,
This is the response from Unified Remote team :
Hi,
It is possible in the latest V3 version of the server (currently beta).
All of our remotes are available on GitHub:
https://github.com/unifiedremote/Remotes/tree/master/Main
If you create a pull-request for a remote for MPC-BE then I can add it to our release.

You can self add support of MPC-BE.
get file MPC-HC / remote.lua and replace MediaPlayerClassicW to MPC-BE, replace mpc-hc.exe/mpc-hc64.exe to mpc-be.exe/mpc-be64.exe
Also - change some id/command. You can see it's value in MPC-BE -> Options -> Keys.
Thats all :)

I'm trying to mimic the way the context menu "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" option work by using command line parameters but simply I'm not able to. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or missing something. I hope you guys help me with this.
"Add to MPC-BE Playlist" works like this:
1. When playlist is empty picking this context menu option causes starting the application or bringing it to the front (if started already) and starts playing.
2. When playlist is not empty picking this context menu option adds a new entry to the current playlist and doesn't change the play/stop/pause status. For instance if application is in the middle of playing something it is not interrupted in any way.
And this is implemented as it should. VLC Player for instance and many others behave exactly the same.
But I simply cannot do this with command line switches.
If I use /ADD switch and playlist is empty application is executed but does not start to play. So 1 is not working. But 2 works ok.
If I use /ADD /PLAY switches and playlist is not empty new entry is being added to the playlist but the player starts to play this new entry breaking current play/stop/pause status. So 2 is not working. But 1 works ok.
Why /ADD switch does not work like "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" context menu option?
How can I call "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" action from the command line?
I want to use MPC-BE with SVP Tube and all I need is one command which behaves exactly like "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" context menu.

Maybe this is a long existing problem, about audio delay in mp4 container, mpc-be seems to ignore the delay.
What I did is, muxing video and audio with mkvmergeGUI, setting a positive audio delay. So far, everything is fine.
Then, ffmpeg -i "input.mkv" -vcodec copy -acodec copy "output.mp4", mpc-be just ignores the delay.:(
Lav filters(i.e. mpc-hc) works fine, vlc as well.
An interesting finding is that ffplay will jump to the audio beginning immediately, which is quite out of my expectation since this mp4 file is produced by ffmpeg itself.
I did a few search, it seems that mp4box also has certain problems (not tried yet). What's more, it does not support mkv as input, a few more tedious work need to be done for muxing job.

Ok - i see.
P.S. - i found bug in LAV/PotPLayer - it's ignore time delay/shift when calculate duration :) If track has time delay - duration must increase on delay value, but LAV/PotPlayer do not do this.
Try this build - http://aleksoid.voserver.net/MPC-BE/mpc-be.exe_MP4_Delay.7z

Command Add to MPC-BE Playlist - just call mpc-be.exe /add <file>
But it doesn't work like "Add to MPC-BE Playlist".
"/add" adds file to the playlist but does not start to play it. The player is being opened but i have to press play to start playback.
"Add to MPC-BE Playlist" behaves differently. It autostarts playback. I want to accomplish the same with the command line. How?

I don't know what you're doing, but "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" doesn't start playing for me either. I have no idea how that's working for you.
You can /add a file and then separately /play to begin playback at the last location. (If you set location remembered.) That works for me.

Try this build - http://aleksoid.voserver.net/MPC-BE/mpc-be.exe_MP4_Delay.7z
Thank you for your response in the first place. This time I tried to mux with raw files, here is my test result.
Video duration 4min44s, audio duration 4min30s plus 12290ms delay
FFmpeg
ffmpeg -itsoffset 12.290 -i test.m4a -i test.h264 -vcodec copy -acodec copy output_FFmpeg.mp4
Playback with the build you given, it is slightly not syncronized.
Mp4box (Using MeGUI, command line from log)
"D:\Program Files (x86)\MeGUI_2418_x86\tools\mp4box\mp4box.exe" -add "D:\test\mp4 delay\test.h264#trackID=1:fps=23.976:name="
-add "D:\test\mp4 delay\test.m4a#trackID=1:delay=12290:name=" -tmp "D:\\test\\mp4 delay" -new "D:\test\mp4 delay\test_mp4box.mp4"
Perfect playback, except the duration is not proper. It seems that audio delay period is added to total duration.
http://i.imgur.com/75nDziy.jpg
In both cases, LAV performs well together with a proper duration displaying.
Not sure whether I did anything wrong in above processes, afterall I'm a novice:o

input_delay_10500ms.aac - cut off at the beginning 10500ms
run.cmd - ffmpeg's run command.
output_FFmpeg.mp4 - result .mp4 file

I don't know what you're doing, but "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" doesn't start playing for me either. I have no idea how that's working for you.
Did you empty the playlist before closing the app?
If the playlist is empty by manual delete or automatically through unticking "Remember last playlist" in players settings (Options->Player) every time the user select "Add to MPC-BE Playlist" the player is launched and play new added file automatically.
And this is as supposed to be.
Tell me guys that it is not working like this for you.

When I play some youtube video and in the meantime select the next one using both switches: /add /play the new video stops current played one and begining to play itself. Thats why I can't use /add /play in conjunction.
I have to have one command line because external software like SVP Tube is not aware if some external player's playlist is empty or not.
And that command should act exactly like "Add to MPC-BE Playlist".
Any ideas?

OK, I see what you mean. Empty playlist, close, add to playlist and it starts playing. Works whether I do it from explorer or the command line. In fact, everything I test behaves exactly the same way between explorer and command lines, so I think the difference is a red herring - maybe you have an older shell extension that's still registered when the main program was updated. That could easily behave differently. You might want to disable the shell extension, update all the MPC-BE files, and enable it again to eliminate that possibility.

Yes, use a batch file. One line to /add the new file, one line to /play from the current playlist position, like I said.

So it seems there is something wrong with my configuration if it works for you. I will follow your suggestion and start from the scratch with both mpc-be and SVP Tube. Will clean the register data and configure them from point 0 once again.
Rapport back if the problem remains.

Since a few weeks AMD has realased their new 14.6 beta driver. This driver adds a setting to set display color depth for displays that support it. See screenie below.
http://tweakers.net/ext/f/RI713MLnSSKhY8uYy92ipCPJ/full.jpg
I've installed the driver, and can set my TV to 10 bpc. When i then set MPC to D3D output, 10 bit out etc. etc. I actually can get 10 bit out (a2R10G10B10 output, CTRL-J stats screen, EVR custom used to confirm). On the stats screen however i notice the internal video mixer only seems to work at RGB32 (X8R8G8B8). So the video mixer is preventing real 10-bit output.
I'd like to make a request that MPC's video mixer can accept higher bitdepth input or other formats. This would enable MPC to work as a player that really supports deep-color for AMD users with the 14.6 driver and supported displays.

Hi, this is my first post on this forum.
I've been using MPC and MPC-HC as my main players for a long time, and now I use MPC-BE as well.
I'm going to start today with one thing that's been bugging me for ages.
In Miscellaneous, there are brightness, contrast and saturation controls.
Things I'd like to see changed:
1) Could you make the numeric value of this settings editable? Now, you can see the current value for brightness, contrast and saturation, but not change it.
2) When you click on the sliders, it jumps from 0 to 40. Why? Can you change the step to 10?
Thanks

1) Could you make the numeric value of this settings editable? Now, you can see the current value for brightness, contrast and saturation, but not change it.
Those controls work only with certain video renderers (VMR-9, EVR and madVR); besides, both your video card and its drivers cannot be "too ancient", i.e., they must support DirectX version 9 at least;
If both of the above do not apply to your machine, then the actual problem is elsewhere
