Audio cannot be changed in live broadcasts. The broadcast freezes. Replays are ok.

Where is url for opening in player, how open in MPC-BE ?

I found the hls link with the live cat chrome/firefox extension. But the live broadcast is over. You can try it on the next live stream.

HLS - using LAV Source, ask it's author what's happened. But i think i know - when change audio/subtitle, DirectShow graph stop/start, it's not support for live stream.

If such people exist (who really need, and not just try), then they will most likely make one subtitle file from two files on their own. But I have not met such people (but I believe that they are).

We are not planning to do this. But you may be hoping that someone will make a subtitle renderer with this functionality (which is unlikely, since it is unpopular).

Many video files like web-dl or bdrip have built-in multilingual subtitles

Now I need to extract subtitles first and then merge it, too cumbersome

In China, many people switch to potplayer for this reason

Because potplayer can set master and slave subtitles

The graph may be incorrect without the "Wait for V-Blank before Present" option. Goodness is not a criterion for correctness.
The "Wait for V-Blank before Present" option is also not ideal.
Use what you like.

Hy to all. Internet radio stream in Ogg Vorbis codec or Opus codec after a while the sound is interrupted for 1-2 seconds or complete stop .No problem with mp3 or aac stream radio.No internet buffer problem. To play neeed Lav Splitter. Please corect this bug present in all version MPC-BE.Thanks.

It's hard for you to do well without breaking the rest. And it takes a lot of time for research and testing. Use LAV Splitter Source.

hmm, i updated MPCBE to the latest Nightly and also updated MPC Video Renderer to latest Nightly.. i did both at the same time. so i have no clue what of those 2 fixed it.. But all videos work now again..

Maybe it depends on the location. Are you outside the EU?

Edit: I just saw you are German too. Then I will try MPC Video Renderer.

Edit2: It is IPV6 with IPV4 it works fine. I'll keep testing to see if it's just me or a general problem.

I'm not 100% sure, but I found nothing wrong on my end. YouTube playback works with IPv4, but not with IPv6.
Maybe someone else has the same problem?

P.S. We are user, we can not decide whether components/data affects each other or not - errors can be strange. Nevertheless my apologies too.

The reason for my IPv6 issue is simply a faulty server.

In Googles content delivery network (obviously only for my ISP O2/Telefonica Germany) is a sub-net/server under the prefix 2a02:3040:0:5:: that is not responding (connection hangs at SYN_SENT).
A browser has the ability to play YouTube in spite of that, but MPC-BE hangs on the connection to that server until it marks the file as invalid.

I have made a small list under which conditions the error does NOT occur:

Firefox...IPv4 only, dual-stack, IPv6 only

MPC-HC IPv4 only, dual-stack

MPC-BE IPv4 only

If IPv6 gets more and more common and Google's CDN gets probably more and more servers, it could not be the last time that this error happens.

I downloaded a video from youtube with 1.5.8.6255 and mkvinfo says video (webm) and audio (mka) have the same track uid. Is that a bug?

What exact version are you using? I am curious, because I am pretty quick for translation updates. So last two stable builds should also be fine.
If I really missed something, please let me know and I update it.

Hi, can you increase max gain limit under Audio > Sound processing? It's currently +10.0 dB but some videos (such as movies) have very low volumes so increasing their volume for +10.0 dB doesn't solve any problems, especially on laptops with weak speakers.

Also I don't want to use auto volume control. Thanks:)

Use "Mix channels to stereo". Usually louder than when mixing is done by Windows.

Increasing the "Gain" limit will cause problems for many users that I do not want to solve.
Also I don't want to use auto volume control.
It sounds like a reluctance to solve your problems. I cannot help you with anything.

It's already on MPC Audio Renderer and changing it makes no differences

It's not a reluctance to solve problems but I think hearing sounds as it was mastered originally is better than the way it's automatically controlled (and raised in quiet scenes and lowered with any extra click sounds)

Also I asked this because of full customizability of MPC that I didn't see in other programs and I think it would be great if you put a text or checkbox or even a setting file or registry, that users be able to override +10dB limit and increase gain to more than +10dB if they wanted.

Increasing the center level by 3dB will both give the impression of higher overall volume and improve the speech intelligibility. Of course the best solution would be to use an original stereo mix if the movie has one (which would likely use different mixing coefficients than the ITU ones because sound engineers mix by ear and not by numbers).

MPC-BE crashes when trying to playback a h265 encoded video file, cpu is Intel i7-4710MQ. Since vlc can playback the same file, so is it possible that cpu identification codes is at fault?

MPC-BE 1.5.7.6180 is unable to play ATRAC9 audio.
The problem is in the internal audio decoder and in the AVI /WAV source filters as well.
LAV Filters work as expected.

I do not confirm. Like you, I took an unknown version of MPC-BE and launched some file with HEVC video.

v0lt, I have tested after resetting mpc-be configurations, yet without luck, it just freezes.

Then I tried various settings, and confirmed that when disabled the hardware accelerating of HEVC, the video can be played back.

The main video card is a crappy Intel HD-4600.

Try with MPC-HC. It's crash reporter can tell where the crash happens.

If it only happens with hardware acceleration, then updating Intel driver is first thing to try.

Intel HD 4600 has hybrid HEVC decoding if I remember correctly. So no full acceleration. VLC blacklists several old Intel GPUs to avoid using badly performing hardware acceleration.
