Try native EVR, not EVR-CP.:p
PS: PotPlayer's EVR-CP outputs 60fps with any combination.
I do not understand how the renderer work and can't fix this issue :)

UPDATE: seems there was something already in place for video/audio
With regards to the icon library. At present if all else if's for video and audio extension are removed the type icon's seems to accurately do the job of setting all video/audio extensions.
What's the chance to get this working in same mannor as the video and audio code,

I did a bit more research, the problem happens when I switch to a DVB-T2 (HD) channel.
If i don't do this, SD channels work fine. Until I go to a HD channel, then I cannot go back to SD unless i restart program or sometimes computer.
What is wrong with displaying the HD channels?
I have created a bug report (http://dev.mpc-next.ru/index.php/topic,1150.new.html#new) on the official forum btw.

What about replacing it with something more-or-less like this?

Or even better, why not let the user choose the placeholder image?

A couple of minutes ago, I replaced revision 1914 with revision 1945. The settings were being stored in the Registry, because both MPC-HC and MPC-BE now take ages to load/write the .ini file since this decided to "break the 100KB barrier" so to speak. I noticed that the settings for the External Filters were entirely erased by the "upgrade" (fortunately I could restore them because I manually backup the .ini file).

I notice when playing a DVD that the bottom information bar displays the currently playing media information (ie video and audio codecs), however when playing anything else, there is no codec information and I have to go searching through menus.
Is there any way to get a display of codec in the information bar? It was a feature I found really useful in Potplayer, which displayed a summary of the video and audio codec of the playing file on an info bar, so I could see whether it was ac3 or AAC at a glance.

When MadVR has overlay enabled there is no transparency on flybar, can that be fixed?
Also a question about this file (http://www.mediafire.com/?srj92zrjxv8z52w), it doesn't show the English subtitles when specified with LAV but only when Directvobsub is loaded. If Directvobsub is not loaded LAV selects it fine.
It's not a LAV issue as LAV selects before it joins the DirectShow Filter Graph, so I guess either MPC or xy-vsfilter is overriding it? Could you take a look ans see where the issue lies? Thanks.

Hello,
I have a problem with MPC-BE v1.1.0.1 -dev build 1961 (but all recent versions present same problem).
Basically, if I press the Stop button while watching a video, then there is no way to start watching the video again, I need to close and restart the whole player. This happens with every video and using EVR as output. If I change the output (Options->Playback->Output) in Video Mixing Rendere 9 (renderless) then all is ok.
I attach a short video to show what happens...

Hi I am using Android Remote Control Applications to play mp3 songs on MPC-BE. On both MPC-HC Remote Control and MPC & VLC Remote Control, when I use the BROWSER - i.e the feature that lists the songs in the playlist - when I select a song and play it, all the other items on the playlist disappear. Only that selected song is then available for playback.
Note that this is not the case in MPC-HC 1.6.5.6366 - when I choose a song - when it finishes playing the song it plays the next song in the playlist. i.e. the playlist is retaining the other songs....
If that may be of any help, under TWEAKS, MPC-HC has an option to select “Open next/previous file in folder on “Skip back/forward” when there is only one item in playlist. May be that’s how they addressed that playlist bug?
Hope that therefore that will be an easy fix.
Also, is there a way to get the playlist to automatically start playing the songs upon opening MPC-BE?
Because right now, after opening the MPC-BE, the Play Button on my remote control does not work. I first need to double-click a song in the Playlist on the computer and only then can I use the remote control application to change songs,....

Hello MPC-BE developers,
it seems that newer versions of MPC-BE ask the renderer for an "IDirect3DDeviceManager9" interface. Is that correct? May I ask which purpose you use that for? Normally only DXVA decoders ask for this interface. The reason I'm asking is that the order in which MPC-BE does things is pretty bad, which results in problems with multi-monitor configurations. I've explained this in detail in an earlier post, but nothing seems to have changed so far.
Thanks!

Yes - it's need for Hook to detect DXVA mode, HookDirectXVideoDecoderService.

Ah, I understand, thanks.
Did you have a chance to look into my previous problem report yet? Basically I'd like MPC-BE to call "IVideoWindow::put_Owner()" directly after creating madVR. The current MPC-BE version calls "put_Owner()" much later, which causes these problems with multi-monitor configurations.
Thanks!
