There are error resilience settings Careful / Compliant / Agggressive in MPC video decoder.
I suppose this mean level a/o sensitivity of corrective stream actions. But what is user impact of more / less corrections ?
Does more corrections mean less impact as more errors is fixed ?
Or does it mean bigger impact as it may ignore or replace some data ?

"<1min tracks" ?
Sorry it took so long to respond, not all <1min track, but there's quite a few.
Most of them are between 30sec and 4 mins with the occasional 10-17min.

Question:
is there gonna be any work done on mpc audio renderer?
atm, it doesn't accept multichannel audio or 24 bit audio, and audio persists on pauses.

About issue on pause/seek - try select Shared Mode.
And yes - modify audio renderer in my planes :).

shared mode works fine.
one more thing, in options>playback, why is default track preference checked by default?
shouldn't it be forced track preference, if anything?
Aleksoid1978
19th April 2013, 05:13
Default track preference - when enable - MPC-BE use internal logic for select track. If disable - then as is, example LAV have own select track logic.

As of Rev.2509 the OSD is permanently shown. Enabling/disabling "Show OSD (requires restart)" has no effect. Although Google Translate does a bad job on the Russian translation, most likely Rev.2505 (http://svnlog.mpc-next.ru/revision.php?repname=MPC-BE+Team&path=%2F&rev=2505&peg=2505) is the culprit.

Use "save thumbnails" feature, froze at here (http://i.imgur.com/dcbzCi1.png), surely related to internal dxva decoder.
Another problem on this H264i file is slow seeking speed, extremely slow... o.O
Jump on the seekbar quickly, mpc-be crashed...

When you use file->save as to save the video, does it use direct streeam copy? I mean is there any rencoding?
Cause i want to use avisynth scripts to open a file from and to certain frames and save some video sequences, the same way i used to do this on vdub.

OK silly question time..... does MPCBE or *ANY* software media player for that matter allow you to use it when watching streamed videos on the net, instead of Adobe Flash Player? Please let me know.

You'd have to write a browser plugin that encapsulates the player and uses it to play the video instead. This wouldn't work if the streamed video is using any sort of encryption/DRM that requires Flash Player, though.

mpc-be plays youtube videos with open file/url without using flash. It would be nice if there were browser plugins that would allow mpc-be to hook into the browser.

Because they don't use any encryption/DRM. If Youtube did it wouldn't work because those would require using the Flash player.

Tested with build 2568... "starting in FSE" mode with madVR now works better than previous builds. Now it keeps screen blank instead of flashing back to desktop screen before the playback is truly started.
Build 2574 runs fine on my nVidia ION system --- But I does not use MPC-BE built-in FFMPEG decoder.

Thanks, I will continue to evaluate new builds. I do have one item of feedback though: I noticed that when holding down left-click to drag the seek bar, it won't seek videos until I release the mouse button. Any plans to alter this behavior to match MPCHC? I use MadVR and LAV.

thanks,I receive it!
During the last 12 seconds of a Youtube movie (link directly opened in MPC-BE), cpu utilization climbs to 100% and eventually the player freezes. I have to manually close the exe.
It appears to be a player issue, because it happens with all combinations of filters/renderers.
I've narrowed it down to rev.2443 and rev.2454 (http://svnlog.mpc-next.ru/log.php?repname=MPC-BE+Team&path=%2F&isdir=1&sr=2454&er=2443&max=40&search=), where everything is still ok with rev.2443.

In the settings which mode is used to open links, "Internal" or "File Source"? What video is played *.flv (SD) or *.mp4 (HD)?
