May i suggest to add an option to turn off Left-Mouse dragging in video window? Or add a delay. I just happens too often that i accidently move the window instead play/pause.

Delays will not. Pause and play shall operate instantly.

No, i mean delay for moving the window. Play/Pause should indeed be instant but currently when you press the left MB to Play/Pause and move the mouse just a bit, the player window gets moved.

An option to turn if off would be the best. Fixed Window size/pos would help too.

When choosing an audio track or a subtitle stream, the selection flashes in the top-left corner of the screen as an OSD element.

Is it possible to enable the ability to toggle this information on/off via a remote key similar to OSD: File Name and OSD: Local Time?

I crave having more OSD options to work with. Showing information about the chosen video stream in the same place would also be welcome.

I'm using 1.4.3(32 bit with installer) ,madVR ,LAV filters(audio/video/splitter) set as "prefer" ,internal subtitle renderer and here's a little problem:
When i play a movie via local network i have to load everytime manualy the subtitle. MPC-HC ,for instance ,loads it automaticaly. MPC-BE loads the subtitles with no problem from the computer but from an external computers it acts as I told.
Is this a bug or I missed something?

I don't know exactly when it started, but somewhere in the last few weeks. I'm noticing tearing I've never seen before.

I tried one of the last 1.4.3 builds today and everything is fine.

XySubFilter (3.1.0.705) with MadVR (0.87.14) seems to crash the player instantly. Tested with both MPC-BE 1.4.4 build 255 and 1.4.4 build 199. Seems to crash 1.4.3 as well. Using the latest MPC-HC nightly, no crashing with XySubFilter & MadVR.

I think it's was incorrect encoded. Any video decoder playback with artifacts(software decoding & DXVA).

I'm using LAV splitter and the internel subtitle renderer.
Great player though! The dual audio renderer is a great ideea. It became almost mandatory on my set up.

DXVA will not be used with a ref=16 file in winxp?

i guess the limited was ref 9 for DXVA. this can be ignored but this may or may not work .

And I suggest to disable dxva for anything beyond 2k resolution in WinXP...

Not a bug or a problem ,I guess I found the answer.
The file(movie) has different asperct ratio-s during playback. 16:9 for some scenes and 2.35:1 for others. That's why the fonts are bigger(they fits with 16:9).

Is it a way to configure MPC-BE and it's Youtube plugin to automatically download each video right after adding it to the playlist?
On slow connections it would be very helpful and allow to download one video while watching another.
Multiple MPC-BE instances are not convenient and optimal memory wise.

Hello, I just recently started using this program and it is very nice in comparison compared to MPC-HE, the only potential deal breaker for me is the inability to play and pause by clicking on the video/album art when the window itself is not selected, IE when you are in a folder and you just move your mouse over and left click in MPC-HE it would play or pause the media without having to have MPC-HE selected like you do in MPC-BE or you have to click once wait a second then click again, which you cant do to quickly or it will just full screen on you. Is that functionality in BE at all?
