Great work on this branch. Nice that you can move DVD/Bluray PGS subtitles with SHIT-CTRL-UP/DOWN-ARROW. But to reset the subtitle position I first tried "reset" under Pan & Scan. But this only resets the video position. "Reload Subtitles" did the trick and also resetted the subtitle position.

Is there any way to position the seekbar at the top of the screen instead of the bottom (or move it up higher)? Or if not, will there be such an option in the foreseeable future? That's the only damn reason i still use Zoomplayer, as in my setup the bottom of the screen gets masked in the screens cache.

No way to change Seekbar position.

You can try to enable something else like the info panel(I don't have it in front of me so I don't know the terms) for example, it might make the seekbar show up higher if its position is under it, it might be a good enough "fix" for you.

I have 2 Dacs attached to my computer a Teralink for SPDIF output & a dragonfly for phones but I can't control which one is selected by MPC-BE.

Both of then appear in the output/Audio Renderer there are various entries for both devices in the list as either Direct sound or SPDIF for the Teralink

Changing the settings Doesn't seem to have any effect & neither does changing the windows settings.
Most of the time either the dragonfly gets the nod or I get no sound at all any help would be appreciated Regards Beebee

A little question : is it possible to hide playlist in full screen mode ? Or it is necessary to uncheck playlist in menu ?

Edit : Do you think it is possible to add more informations on MP3 player (album, genre, year...) ? And do you think it is possible to add tag MKV support ? Thanks !

Right click inside playlist 'Hide in Fullscreen' That what you're after?

I have noticed an issue where if mpc is running and I double click a new movie, sometimes the original mpc instance remains and a new one opens. It only usually happens when the PC is under relatively high load and I can reproduce almost every time by forcibly putting my cpu under load with linx.

Does mpc have some sort of time out logic in opening a movie in an existing mpc instance. If so can it be adjusted somehow to stop this from occuring or "fixed*.

Using latest dev build 32bit with windows 8.1 64bit, lav filters, madvr, core i7 920 @ 3.6ghz

AFAIK there's no way to do this. You could CTRL-E to reload the file once it's finished playing or you could open the playback options and tell it to play forever before it's finished playing.

Add in rev. 4898. See new menu item "Play next in the folder (looped)" :)

With MKV you can add tags with actor, synopsis, summary, cover, director...
It's perhaps useless but it gives more informations about the movie.
You can find more informations on matroska website : http://matroska.org/technical/specs/tagging/index.html

But for me it's more important to add auto switch SBS/TAB on TV (Samsung or other) if it doesn't already exist and if it's possible :)

concerning 3D...I'm surprized, that it seems not to be possible to use the StereoscopicPlayer or the PowerDVD codec in MPC to decode MVC-Stereoscopic MKV-files like those produced by MakeMKV...

Same thing for me, I don't find where I can see MKV tags.

Other "problem" : On MKV with 1 audio track (default, forced) and 1 sub track (default but not forced), sub is automaticaly actived. Is it normal ? Because sub track is not forced.

force means it has to be displayed no matter what. and default means it should be loaded.

some splitter may do it this way but nope.

and to make thing even more complicated.

force and a selecting a subtitle track should result in displaying >both<. not all subtitle render can even do this. and no player supports it this way.

and a default track is always loaded set all subs to default: no if you don't like it this way.

depends on the splitter. lav splitter clearly says in default mode: load both forced and default. it loads forced subs before default with ass.
MPC-BE mkv splitter ignores flags. it load the first track .(only tested with ass subs)

not working for me.
i added a sample.
track 4 is forced track 3 is default, track 1 and 2 have no flag. track 1 gets loaded.

edit: i use xy subfilter with madvr.
