Hi Aleksoid
Please can you take another look at the crashing of MPC-BE when deselecting the internal MPEG source filter to use LAV for Bluray disk/files.
This crash only occurs in Windows 8 x64 with the VS2012 x64 build.
I have also uploaded the crash dump,
http://www.mediafire.com/?h6k5jnbx0sa25i6
I see you use LAV Splitter - maybe bug on it's side or MPC-BE+LAV+Win8 :)

Considering LAV and Windows 8 are static and only the only change was MPC-BE switching from VS2010/2012 x86/x64, where only VS2012 x64 crashes.
I used official builds for testing to exclude anything that can come from my builds.
GraphStudioNext x64 plays the files fine using LAV so the crash only happens within MPC-BE VS2012 x64.
EDIT: Sorry you may be right, it may be an issue with LAV's libbluray when called from any VS2012 x64 application within Windows 8. Did a quick test compile of GraphStudioNext with VS2012 and this also crashes now.

As a major developer of the project, you must hold a WinXP system yourself unless mpc-be doesn't support WinXP anymore.:D

Just curious that player's title bar does not show the file name in Unicode string while the one on seek bar does...
ps: My system's locale is CP950. So the non-unicode non-BIG5 characters show "?"

I think it's a Window issue - it's can't normal out the non unicode Caption in window title.

I think it's a Window issue - it's can't normal out the non unicode Caption in window title.
I just realized such issue only happens to MPC-BE 32-bit x86 version.
The 64-bit one's title bar shows correct text.
Yet at least another 32-bit application can show this file name correctly as window's title bar. Ex:

VS2010 / VS2012 build does not matter...
Finally I found the actual factor which causes this issue: "madVR"
Change the VMR to EVR and it works fine... :D
Looks like madshi also does some actions on the window object in madVR? :p

Please remove the minimum limit of blu-ray playlist duration (now it's min 5 minutes ?) displayed in "Navigate->Jump to" menu, cause there are a lot of Blu-rays with shorter playlist e.g. any calibration blu-ray (http://www.avsforum.com/t/948496/avs-hd-709-blu-ray-mp4-calibration) or Photo album Blu-ray or...... and the biggest problem it will be with playing blu-ray menus (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=164314) (when, if :))

Removing that restriction would make playing any "normal" Blu-ray with its hundreds of <1min tracks quite painful.

Removing that restriction would make playing any "normal" Blu-ray with its hundreds of <1min tracks quite painful.
Why ? the player will still be able to choose the longest playlist and the playlists will still be displayed in a descending order making it easy to choose the longest playlist so where is the problem  (not to say the majority of the user don't even go to the "Navigate ->jump to")
P.S. And how many BD have "hundreds of <1min tracks" (name one :p) ?

Is it possible for the option "remember file position" stores information as just filenames and not absolute paths? In case i move a file somewhere else, or my external drive changes letters, i would still like to continue the file where i left off.
