Also - what splitters/filters use, what file open.

Well, it is never enabled. I just replaced the 3 MPC-BE exe / dll files.

HD7970 + Catalyst 13.2 beta6
LavFilter 0.55.3
madVR 0.85.8 or 0.86.1
Win7x64 SP1
C2D E8400@3.6 GHz

More than 50 various samples are tested and this behavior is consistent.

madVR auto refresh rate changer or started-in-FSE is not used on my another PC and NB. The MPC-BE build 2172 on them does not show any slow down for the playback preparation if compared with the build 1737...

Also - test on any other MPEG-TS/PS, that nothing isn't broken(A/V sync at open file)

All the problems with double clicking to fullscreen seem to be fixed as well, as it simply just goes to fullscreen on the second mouse button down. thanks judelaw (i presume).

BE has no shortcut key control when pinyin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinyin) ime is using.(You know I'm a Chinese.:))

For example, pressing O will not open the option window when pinyin ime is using, see this (http://i.imgur.com/ZYD1An2.png). Becasue the pinyin ime's toolbar takes over the keyboard.
Do not use pinyin ime, its fine as expected, see this (http://i.imgur.com/0CnYjPB.png).

PotPlayer is "smart" enough to "block" the pinyin ime's toolbar and then every shortcut key can be took over by itself, see this (http://i.imgur.com/lh6p0cK.png).

Any improvement, Aleksoid?:)

Why don't remove "use the dark theme" option?
I think nobody is using that ugly windows 2000 style theme..

Shoving skins down people's throats...way to go! "We do not support default(windows) themes." is bad enough already, so I'll return to MPC-HC whenever that happens.

Since I updated to Windows 8 x64 it appears that the "Use Windows 7 Taskbar features" option doesn't work anymore. I really liked the green progress bar. I play videos in my TV so it was nice to see the green bar in my main monitor. Also the play/pause etc. options are gone(I personally didn't use them but anyway..). Other than that I love the player! Great work!

I can make it appear again by opening options and pressing 'OK' but it disappears again if I restart the player. Also, the playback controls in the 'Peek preview' box aren't working (they are showing but pressing them doesn't do anything).

An insignificant issue to report.
When you hover the seekbar, it displays a certain time index for the point being hovered.
If you click this point on the timeline, the actual point of entry is always a few seconds before the positioned clicked.

Another issue I reported is maximize button on flybar is broken. When in fullscreen it does nothing, expect it to go to a maximized window. When using frame only maximize is full screen, expect it be a maximized window.

About the previews with madvr, could another PutOwner() solve it?

Another thing is how do the devs feel about having an option or just adding a language submenu to audio and subtitles in context menu? Currently only can access them through the control bar, but not everyone leaves that taking up space.

Actually are working but are below the seekbar so when in full screen or maximized they aren't visible.

In rev 2222 there is a small bug with compact view and maximalized window: the right transparent border is visible.

Don't know why, the border magically disappeared after a lot of opens/closes of the player.

It sets the connection priority for external source/splitters which are added to the "External Filters" tab.

I did some more testing with previews on extended displays. The preview only shows below the seek bar when the display is in the upper half of the multiple display setup on windows 7. Otherwise it displays above the seek bar. I can provide some screenshots if needed.

The window is resizable when it's maximized and borders are hidden. It's not resizable in any other view and would allow hiding the pointer on the right. Could it be changed to fixed size?

Found a bug regarding Blu-ray playback, tested with latest SVN (rev 1835 was working)

If the internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA source filter is deselected, opening BDMV or MPLS files crash MPC-BE.

@Aleksoid, did some more testing on this.

It would seem this bug only occurs in Windows 8, tested clean installs of Win7 and Win8 with a clean install of MPC/LAV, Latest official builds without any custom settings.

In Windows 8 if you untick the internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA source filter to use LAV, this will cause MPC-BE to crash. Windows 7 does not have this crash.

The builds still hold true, this broke between 1879 and 1889.

What do devs think about an option to auto hide the bars on the bottom while windowed like it does in fullscreen?

Also what about audio delay step option? Already has volume and sub delay option.
