For anyone who do not want to rename mpc-be to mpc-hc ( like me ):
xy-VSFilter_3.1.0.546-mod.7z (http://tmod.nmm-hd.org/VSFilter/xy-VSFilter_3.1.0.546-mod.7z)
xy-VSFilter_3.1.0.546-mod-with-pdb.7z (http://tmod.nmm-hd.org/VSFilter/xy-VSFilter_3.1.0.546-mod-with-pdb.7z)
Just added mpc-be to the same list of mpc-hc's workaround ( patch included ). The rest should work as same as official (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=168282) 3.1.0.546. So if there're some other auto-loading issues with mpc-be, like this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1637413#post1637413) one, they should still exist as before.

Could the "Display Stats" text be forced to maintain a certain aspect ratio when you change the MPC BE window size by dragging with mouse. Currently though the video aspect ratio is maintained, the display stats text goes berserk.

SRT subtitle problem
Version: 1.2.1.0 build 3073
If I play a video "video.mts" in a folder that contains a subtitle file "video.mts.srt" subtitles are shown correctly, but if I put same video in a playlist (pls or m3u) subtitles are not visible.
Note that same test works with version 1.1.0.1 where subtitles are shown correctly using a playlist.
Thanks for help.

That is strange, I use pls playlists like this

file1=./video/video1.mts
file2=./video/video2.mts

and subtitles are not autoloaded; could the relative paths be the problem?

Yes there is a problem when you first start build.bat.
Fixed at rev. 3109
I wasn't using build.bat and it's still not fixed
To reproduce:
1. Create a new MPC-BE folder and run "SVN checkout" (svn://mpc-next.ru/mpc-be/trunk)
2. Run the update_gcc.bat
3. Open mpc-be_2012.sln and change to release
4. Run build (from VS2012 U3)
EDIT running build.bat at first results in this now SubWCRev: 'D:\MPC-BE'

I have a specific request for a custom version of MPC-BE:
I need a DUAL AUDIO OUTPUT option like you can find it in this version of MPC-HC (which is not beeing updated anymore):
http://htpcfordbox.over-blog.com/article-mpc-hc-and-lav-filters-for-htpc-and-d-box-89040282.html

Also is it normal that when building mpc-be_2012.sln only the Win32 release and even when building only the X64 release that this two folders "Filters_x86" and "mpc-be_x86_Debug" to be created in "...\MPC-BE\bin\" ? (only from VS2012 U3, not happening with the build.bat)

With MPC-HC now adding LAVfilters as the default filters will MPC-BE be following this path?
Bug report: Options > Interface > OSD
does not work when a video is open, it does work if no video is open though. Changing from default front size and color, then changing the volume when no video is open, vs when a video is open.

Are there any advantages of switching to LAVfilters as opposed to using an installed lavfilters set to preferred? One disadvantage is having to control 2 different LAVfilters if you want to use it outside of MPC, which could be an advantage depending on how it's used.
Potplayer has an interesting way of handling subtitles. An option to show subtitles below the video that is top justified so 1 liners are closer to the video, additional lines are below it but the lines will move up on to the video instead of disappearing. MPC is always bottomed justified, 1 liners go to the bottom, additional lines go up, lines will disappear instead of move up. Some examples (http://www.sendspace.com/file/zg2r2g) would there be interest in adding an option for this in MPC-BE?
Has there been any progress with auto hiding toolbars in window mode?
MPC+madvr with another program using gpu drops a lot of frames for me. Here's a bug report (http://bugs.madshi.net/view.php?id=103) for more information but it doesn't happen with Potplayer, maybe it's an MPC issue instead? Priority related?

Would this be possible to custom make for me (and all other HTPC/D-Box users ) based on the latest version of MPC-BE?
V0lt already replied to me on the official MPC-BE community that this would be possible to do and that the MPC-HC version that was made here http://en.sourceforge.jp/projects/sfnet_mpc-hc-dboite/ is done with a ''system Infinite Pin Tee Filter'' to separate the audio stream.

Will it be a one-time inplemented feature on the latest beta version that is avialable now or will you build updated versions with dual audio support from time-to-time from now on?
You have no idea what a feature like this means for D-Box users. It will be THE ONLY htpc solution available for D-Box users who want to enjoy HD audio and D-Box simultanously.

It will be THE ONLY htpc solution available for D-Box users who want to enjoy HD audio and D-Box simultanously.
You do realize there are other players that can do this, right?
For example, JRiver Media Center can output audio to any audio devices you want (with its Linked Zone feature) and even encode to AC3 on one device for SPDIF and output PCM over HDMI on another.
So, its not the only, and not the first solution.
Anyhow, sorry for the OT in this thread, but someone was wrong on the internet. :)
