I have a problem, I installed mpc-be + lavfilter + madvr and up to here everything ok, but I have a problem with subtitles, I installed xysubfilter but as per procedure (run as administrator) but later in the mpc properties I can not find xysubfilter and so I do not see the subtitles, what am I wrong?
Do you still need help?

It's always happened or sometimes ? I can't reproduce, if in software - don't show GPU/DXVA2 indicator.
Looks like only happen when I tried to play HEVC 10bit with DXVA2 Native as selected H/W decoder. I think player doesn't notice that it was fallback to S/W decoding. Tried with other decoder, D3D11, it showed correctly fallback to S/W decoding.

tyrindor - new test build https://yadi.sk/d/T4RFgrPV3UEyrx
Test on AC3/TrueHD/DTS-HD. For me only drop on AC3/DTS-HD in 5-10m. The problem has not yet been clarified.
Hi,
I've also been having this problem with drops during bitstreaming (exactly the same as tyrindor), do the latest builds resolve this issue?

Wonderful, thank you so much. I notice a small difference in this version, in that the audio buffer can be set - default, 50ms, or 100ms. It is set at 50ms, is that the correct setting, or should it be 'default' or 100ms? What does this setting do? Thanks again.

@iSeries
If there are no problems, then do not change anything (standard value is 50 ms).

Hi, is there any way to turn the top menu bar black without skinning windows 10?, I have an oled TV and i'm trying to minimise bright areas on menus and stuff. I know I can remove this but I prefer the menu bar to be there permanently.

After reinstalling Windows and all my other programs on Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), MPC-BE's audio level is too low. I tried changing some setting in Audio options, but with no success. Is there a setting that I could adjust to fix this?

I need more information:
1.) Everytime I reinstall windows, the volume in the taskbar is set to 67. Did you already put that to 100? -> In case of powered external speakers or AVR with passive speakers. If built in speakers in Notebook, the speaker will be very loud ;-)
2.) How are the speakers connected? External speakers with analog 3,5 mm plug or digital like SPDIF Toslink, ... maybe AVR with passive speakers OR built in speakers in Notebook or built in speakers in monitor and connected with HDMI?
3.) Is only MPC-BE audio level too low or also other players you may have, don't install any other just for testing, just try built in WMP. What audio renderer/settings do you use?
@Zinglar
Stereo tracks or 5.1?

I do not understand what you mean. All programs or only MPC-BE have this problem?
If the first, then you have a problem not related to the player.
MPC-BE 1.5.2 (build 3788) beta (https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpcbe/files/MPC-BE/Nightly%20Builds%20%28from%20svn%20trunk%29/1.5.2%20%28build%203788%29%20beta/) with a digital signature.

Maybe you had Loudness Equalisation ON(Start-->Sound-->Properties of your input device-->Enhancements) before and upon reinstall that got unchecked.

Hi, sorry for being late in replying. After reinstalling Windows I set the volume in the taskbar to 50 which is what I had before the reinstallation. The speakers are external with 3.5 mm plug connections. I tried to play a video on another software and the audio was much higher there. Anyway, before reinstalling Windows the audio level with MPc-BE was pretty good.
@EncodedMango, I tried the Loudness Equalisation and there is a big improvement.
Thanks everyone for your assistance!

Timestamps are not accurate as shown in ctrl + G.
I read presentation times of both audio and video stream in packet by ffprobe. Some video stream have a 100 millisecond offset but mpc-be always shows time zero for the first frame.

Upload sample.
My brother has a problem with mpc-be, the keys are working before going in fullscreen, after that he has to click with the mouse, so they can start working again. Video renderer is madvr, tried with any other renderer same problem :(

Hi,
I have been using the MPC-BE v1.5.2 (build 3656) on my laptop without any issues. I have recently updated to the latest version and the laptop crashes with a BSOD. I’d like to know what has been majorly changed in the new visions to cause my laptop to crash.
BSOD crash info:
Caused by driver--dxgkrnl.sys (DirectX Graphics Kernel)
System specs:
Windows 10_x64
Core i5-2540M
Intel HD Graphics 3000--latest drivers available for win10x64
directx_Jun2010_redist--installed
I have tried few new Nightly Builds without a success. It seems like something has changed in the new builds which is specific to my laptop. Please help me to troubleshoot this. Thank you guys!

Do you use any external filters like madvr or lav filters? If so, did you update any of them in the meantime.
Worth a try to reset settings and set it up new.
I have also a little Intel HD based PC here. I test my hd4600 tomorrow, already late here in bavaria.

The more I think about it, I believe it is a focus issue because you have to click one time with the mouse then the keys are working again:
4.) What is selected in right click -> VIEW -> On Top -> ??
5.) What OS?
6.) Is any other program also running when starting MPC-BE?
7.) Does this focus issue also apeear, when computer is started fresh and no other program was executed until MPC-BE is started in fullscreen?

Tried with older versions of mpc-be, and tried with 1.5.2 3788.
External filters used are: lav splitter, lav video decoder and lav audio decoder.

I4. Tried "Never" and "Always" - same result;
5. Windows 7 Ultimate x64;
6. The programs running are: Dropbox client, Avast and DisplayCAL for profile management. DiplayCAL is disabled when I run videos (this is my configuration);
7. The focus issue always appears, I tried turning off avast and other programs, but the result is the same.

What fullscreen mode are you using? There is the "normal" mode and exlusive mode available.
If you are using automatic refresh rate changer, you can press Ctrl + Enter for this. Or you leave the refresh rate at standard mode by pressing Alt + Enter.
Does it also occur when you reset settings to default and leave the settings untouched and go to fullscreen mode?

The normal fullscreen mode, after reset the problem is still there, no refresh rate changer is used.

Something local problem - when going in fullscreen losing focus, although it should not. You are single user that have this problem.

Just to say, I have the same issue than Siso. The weirdest part is I don't have this issue with DVD but with bluray files quite frequently (but not all the time).
I'm using the x86 MPC-BE version with Lav Filters+Reclock+Madvr. I'm using several version of MPC-BE for several months (six or seven month) and the problem was always here. I don't know before.

Is this really a issue in MPC-BE?
Maybe it's related to the OS or any program running on the pc of the two guys?
I had never any issue on any pc here at home, it doesn't matter AMD/Nvidia/Intel graphics with an AMD/Intel CPU. Had every possible combination and used both Windows 7 and 10.
