With some Youtube clips there is a notable increase in volume control response time. (More than one second after hitting the arrow key or scrolling the mouse wheel.) At the moment I found only "Audio only" clips, but I will search further. Maybe there are video clips too.
Tested so far with v1.5.2.4102 and all internal filters and cross check with LAV Filters - both the same.
Clips with increased time:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90SPoNnWHj4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKs01thUGUA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2ohR0xwrf8
In contrary here is an audio clip with normal response time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxvSVpIN7Ys
Edit: It seems madvr is responsible for that problem, with VMR9 the response times are normal.
Edit2: For some clarification: Not the volume change is delayed but only the OSD.
Besides I downloaded one of these clips and tried it out with some older versions of madvr and MPC-BE, it was always with the same result of a delayed OSD response.
Maybe this is only a madvr problem and madvr has some kind of a sleeping issue while it is displaying still images - I don't know.

If OSD is delayed only with madVR - it's madVR faults.

Stable version has arrived! People kept asking for it over a certificate lol. I was more than happy using the nightlies. I keep up with the daily commits on the Sourceforge repository. A lot of work has gone in this last year. aleksoid , v0lt really top stuff and really appreciative. Just the best player right now. Thank you for your efforts :)
EDIT: I like when I open the player it's in widescreen. In celebration and in nerdy spirit lol of new stable I'm sharing modified logo :P :) https://imgur.com/pxwBJlx

Thanks, this should help my USB DAC. Is there a way to find out what value my default is?

I tested one thing for the last time both with the 2 test builds you made: mpc-be.exe.20180830, mpc-be.exe.20180912
- Only Wasapi Exclusive mode is affected! If I set it to Wasapi Shared mode then it works as it should.
@Aleksoid1978: BTW this issue is also fixed for me in 1.5.2! Thank You!

I updated from r4113 to r4117 and encountered a little issue:
I have set Seek bar text in first options page to display Nothing, but when I close MPC-BE, open it again and play a file, it is set to display File name (else title or URL).
I switched back to r4113 which is fine.

To report an issue on the 1.5.2 stable. When I attach the MPC-BE to the hafe side of the monitor.(By dragging it to the one side of the edge of the display) .
Then if I double clicked to change to full screen. It doesn't fill the screen.

@heiseikiseki
Try this with every other window on the screen and you will find that this is Windows standard behaviour.
half size window > double click > shrunken window > double click > full screen

Thanks for the reply. I tried. But IN MPC-BE it not becomes the shrunken window.
For example my display is 2560*1440.
it just become 2560*1429. (almost fill but not full)
Since the previous version I didn't see this behavior.

On my 1920x1080 everything is fine. This is probably a bug with hi-res monitors. As of Aleksoids equipment list he doesn't have a display above Full-HD and maybe therefore he doesn't recognise this. Perhaps you should do more testing and provide more information.
E.g. how is your display attached (HDMI, Displayport, ...) and test to change your resolution to Full-HD.
Klaus1189
1st November 2018, 20:50
I use 3840x2160@200% and can confirm the behavior that heiseikiseki has reported. I also tested an old build from 2017-10-17 r3005, same behavior.
I tried MPC-HC 1.8.3 and it is fine.
I recognized that in case of MPC-BE the taskbar is in front of MPC-BE in this case, so MPC-BE is of course in the background.

It change the resolution into 1906*1072.

As I can see the window is not completely filled in horizontal direction, can you move the taskbar to the left or right side and look if this makes a difference.
BTW: I can't really help you, I do this to provide Aleksoid the information that maybe helps him.
Just to be really sure: This is maximised window and not a resized (or shrunken) window?

@Klaus, in b4145 under 3D-Stereo-Modus there are some Englisch texts !! May be meant this way but "Left/Right tauschen" sounds strange !?!
Klaus1189
8th November 2018, 20:49
I know. It is sometimes hard to find short suitable words.
What do you think about "Halbbilder tauschen"?
I personally do not know if "Halbbilder" is fully correct, I mean some 3D methods have full resolution pictures for left and right. But since you need 2 pictures for one "3d frame", one picture would be "half".
Grimsdyke
8th November 2018, 21:17
Tricky indeed - how about "3D-Halbbilder tauschen" because I think "Halbild" does mean indeed something else. Or just simply "Links/Rechts tauschen" because people who uses 3D will surely know what that means.
Klaus1189
8th November 2018, 21:42
"3D-Halbbilder tauschen", to much "3D" -> already in 3D menu
only "Halbbild" to much of normal interlaced video.
I simply didn't translated "Left/Right", so it matched the 3D modes above, but since you want it, I change it.
