Yepp, there are no render times in the OSD ! I have some 50fps files that drop some frames and I would like to know if its the rendering or if that machine is too weak overall, etc.

I beg to increase the size of two dropdownlists in Video Decoder settings dialog so if the longer strings are not cut off if selected:

To get a clean appearence I would increase also STRING IDS_VDF_THREADNUMBER and STRING IDS_VDF_HW_PREFERRED_DECODER to the same length and maximize the lengths of the dropdownlists that STRING IDS_VDF_DXVACOMPATIBILITY is not yet cut off.
This cosmetic will help other languages as well.

just keep it to ref as the english translation and you should really use top-field and bottom-field first because even and odd can be miss understood because you can start counting at 0 or 1.

The odd field is always the upper field.
The even field is always the bottom field.

But I think about it. Maybe I can find other words, but it is clear as it is.

we usually start counting from 0 in the PC world so top field is even now.

use ref as English does it is the name of an encoder name. while your translation isn't wrong it is not usually translated because encoder don't do that.

But I could live with "TFF" and "BFF".
Or a direct translation but then "Feld" as "Field" looks also terrible.

With the translation I did I have everything but also explained what it is.

not because i'm good at it or anything just because if you have an issue and you type the english error in you may get an answer.


if i google for why do i get image corruption with disabled ref frame check i may get an answer in german i doubt that.

I found a way to shorten the strings so they fit in all the dropdownlists. In german nothing is cut off, but in english and russian for example.

I just realised that korean language was not updated in Commit 9407d3a

When moving the frame with Ctrl+Numpad4 and Ctrl+Numpad7, when it goes out of the window, it either goes black, freezes or gets distorted. There is sound, but when I reset with Numpad5 and reopen the video, the frame comes back.

Same problem with different combinations like zooming in/out with Ctrl+Numpad1/Ctrl+Numpad9 and then moving with Ctrl+Numpad7/Ctrl+Numpad4.

Anyone else using Nvidia Audio to a receiver with MPC Audio Renderer? Doesn't matter what settings I use I get audio drop outs, sometimes completely silent until I restart the player. If I use Directsound System default there are no issues.

Could you please also make the "Adapter" dropdownlist a bit longer? The longest string of all languages is the german string "Grafikprozessor".

Perhaps it is also possible in MPC Video Renderer to increase the size of the transparent background to be bigger. Maybe it could be variable, I mean dependent on the length of the GPU name.

I have some 3D rips that I'm trying to play but they never come out of SBS when I press the 3D button on my JVC RS540 remote. Has anyone had any luck playing 3D rips? Here is the video info for the rip:

Hello,
I'm running latest MPC-BE 1.8.2 x64 with Windows 11 Task Scheduler to play a given MP3 file every 30 min once the playback task is triggered daily at a set time or by a certain event like Manual Run. In the Task Scheduler - Action, I set Start a Program: "C:\path_to_mpc-be64.exe" "Path_to_file.mp3" /play /close
In the player Options - Playback, I set any file to play 3 times repeatedly once open.

However, the /close switch closes the player after the file plays just ones. If I omit the /close switch, the player remains in Paused (prior scheduled task not completed) state upon finishing the loopback, and the task is not auto repeated at the next time interval. If that's a bug can you fix it, or would you suggest the right set of player run switches for the task?

P.S. Found a workaround: added the same media file 3 times to a playlist folder, and pointed the player to that folder instead of the media file, which allowed to use /close command-line switch.
