Quick question, can you bind the mouse wheel or middle click to an action? It doesn't seem to work when I try it now, when it did in MPC and HC.

Hey guys. I'm unable to switch audio tracks. When I right-click the video during playback and go to Properties, I can see that there are multiple audio tracks for this MKV file. But when I right-click and select Audio, all I can see is Options... and Load Ext Audio...
Am I missing something? In MPC-HC that's how you selected audio tracks.

Aleks, I was using a build that was 2 months old, don't remember which one. I tried upgrading this morning to test if that would fix the issue, and the current version is D-BOX.
Sourceforge sends you the D-BOX version by default, it doesn't give you a choice of other versions.

Can you please add a Playlist button next to Audio, Sub? Currently, it's a pain accessing the playlist. Also adding a + symbol to add additional files to the playlist would be awesome.
Can you also please add a Repeat button similar to iTunes where clicking it once repeats the playlist, and twice the current file, and three times turns it off.
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH957 <- An idea of the types of symbols to use.
- Maybe change the Audio, Sub buttons to symbols as well? Keep it consistent.

There is a bit of a bug in the options dialog for file associations when UAC is enabled.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19338638/options%20bug.JPG
When you choose the modify button to elevate a new dialog is shown instead of reusing the existing.
Is this a bug or by design?

I have a DXVA1 issue with a probably rare use case.
It concerns the following 2 files:
POW_00678246-audio_eng=192000-video=900000.ts (http://www.degeelebosch.nl/reino/POW_00678246-audio_eng=192000-video=900000.ts)
POW_00678246-audio_eng=128000-video=500000.ts (http://www.degeelebosch.nl/reino/POW_00678246-audio_eng=128000-video=500000.ts)For me - url from playlist is not work. What i can do ??Does the link for the playlist on my website (http://www.degeelebosch.nl/reino/POW_00678246-audio_eng=192000-video=900000.ts) not work for you, or the actual link of the ts-segments (http://l24m6c61b66d1c0052154323000000.2579b4606778978a.adaptive-e10c4a.npostreaming.nl/lmshieldv2/3/bnn/rest/2013/POW_00678246/POW_00678246.ism/POW_00678246-audio_eng%3D192000-video%3D900000-1.ts) in the playlist?
Anyway, I believe there's something wrong with the way you implement ffmpeg in MPC-BE. 'Wrong' in the sense that FFDShow and LAVFilters don't have any issues playing POW_00678246-audio_eng=192000-video=900000.ts through software. Playback is all smooth, like:
http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/thumbnails/fd566a4b07dc59d68c4826ff926bee7f.jpg (http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/images/fd566a4b07dc59d68c4826ff926bee7f.jpg)
MPC-BE's internal decoders "H.264/AVC (DXVA)" AND "H.264/AVC (FFmpeg)" are the only ones where playback is 'jaggy', like:
http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/thumbnails/8d19876a2555067e3a8962b4b1142a32.jpg (http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/images/8d19876a2555067e3a8962b4b1142a32.jpg)
Can you explain this?
And something I noticed today: View -> Information (Ctrl+3) shows "Description" when Comment is present in Tag, but it doesn't show REM COMMENT in cue-sheet. Now you may expect me to request to show cue-sheet comments as well, but I don't how other users feel about it, but I don't care about "Description". I noticed LAV Splitter shows "Description" (if present) too, but I'm only interested in "Title" and "Author" on the Information-tab (Ctrl+3).I support tag only for internal splitter/source. If LAV do not give information about "Title"/"Author" - write author about this. You don't understand, or misread my post. LAV does show "Description" too, just like MPC TAK Source, but I'm not interested in it being shown on the Information-tab. So, unless anyone else thinks differently, I much rather see it being ignored. I don't want to see it on the Information-tab!
Next,... at the moment "PERFORMER" (Artist) is always shown (for WavPack and FLAC as well) in the Navigate-menu as; 01. Artist-1 - Audiotrack_Titel-1. For...
REM GENRE Classical
PERFORMER "Various Artists"
TITLE "Album_name"
FILE "Sample.tak" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-1"
PERFORMER "Artist-1"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-2"
PERFORMER "Artist-2"
INDEX 01 09:13:38
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-3"
PERFORMER "Artist-3"
INDEX 01 15:16:38...that's perfectly fine, but for most cases...
REM GENRE Rock
PERFORMER "Artist-X"
TITLE "Album-Y"
FILE "Sample.tak" WAVE
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-1"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-2"
INDEX 01 01:24:03
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "Audiotrack_Title-3"
INDEX 01 06:16:73...where there's only 1 artist, I'd say omit "PERFORMER"; 01. Audiotrack_Titel-1.So, if TRACK PERFORMER "" exists, Navigate-menu entry: 01. <PERFORMER> - <TITLE>, else 01. <TITLE>.
Something like that wouldn't be so hard to code for you, right?
Could you enable the Zoom-function (Alt+1-4) for covert-art too, and have it auto-zoom to 100% if that function is enabled in Option->Playback?About Zoom for Cover - do not planned. Can't you create something like this?
http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/thumbnails/d844b6ae9e321262b7e2dd5af9acbc35.png (http://www.ld-host.de/uploads/images/d844b6ae9e321262b7e2dd5af9acbc35.png)

But at least the actual TS segments are "403 Forbidden" for me, and the playlist file is accessible.
The TV live on the NPO's website is also blocked.
Only two channels (Journaal 24 and Politiek 24, also on the website of NOS) are accessible:)

But at least the actual TS segments are "403 Forbidden" for me, and the playlist file is accessible. Then I guess all the videos are only accessible with a Dutch IP-address. That's why I downloaded and uploaded the 5min news broadcast of 12pm today here (http://www.mediafire.com/download/145v5qq1g70b1h9/Journaal_03112013-1200.7z), so you all can have a look yourself. The first ts-file is the actual playlist which can be opened by MPC-BE.

For me it is like this:
Smooth in madVR, but video is delayed when using internal decoder, video and audio are synchronised when uising LAV.
Many frames are dropped when using internal decoder with all the other renderers, video is also delayed. With LAV it is normal.

I test files from http://www.mediafire.com/download/145v5qq1g70b1h9/Journaal_03112013-1200.7z on Win 7/8 - smooth playback with/without DXVA using internal decoder. Test DXVA 1.0 can't

For Win7/8 that's expected, because I also get smooth playback when I test it on a Win7/8 pc. But I'm on WinXP (still), and I think beter too.
Watching the video online (flash-player) is undoable (cpu @ 100%, and yes, I know I desperately need a new pc :p), so feeding these "ts-playlists" to MPC-BE is the only way to go. With FFDShow and LAV Filters (through software of course) playback is all smooth as you can see, but there seems to be something seriously wrong with the 2 internal H.264 video decoders.
I've made a video recording (http://www.mediafire.com/download/t9ypk1v2y3oasd2/MPC-BE_recording-qhd.mkv), so you can see what's really happening.
If it's not helpfull, isn't there another way (analysis with dump-file?) to see what's going on under the hood?

rigister lav splitter or add it to "external filters" and launch the first file.

@ beter: Although I didn't experience a spotty image on Win7, I'm glad to see someone else experiences the same thing.
You're Dutch and Chinese, btw? ;)
@ z_mashine: I think he already used LAV Splitter Source, because it's the only one that can open the "ts-playlists" afaik. At least none of the internal source filters could open them.

I am sorry to say that I am not a Dutch. (otherwise I can access the live of NPO)
I am now living in Flemish region of Belgium, and still learning Dutch.
