I need those synced AC3 files ;) I will probably get told off for that. I am not requesting just stating before I get jumped on! LOL.

do you need any syncronization for that ? for me it seems like the sound is ok

Hmmm. The corecodec.org page is down since one hour or even longer. Could this be the first sign of the relaunch? ;)

It's online for me half of the time and offline the other half of the time for weeks/months. I've no idea why they don't seem to be able to offer a stable web presence. Well, whatever...

Good info. How come none of the review sites noticed this?
Essentially this means that Nvidia Purevideo AVC is still broken, over two years after its announcment. Or is there a combination of GPU and decoder that actually deblocks and performs considerably better than an average CPU?

No deblocking too with my 7900GT and powerdvd decoder. I have another bug : I can't get full speed on 50p/60p videos. With dxva on, they play from 45 to 55 fps, without dxva, no problem, I get the full framerate.

I hope someone will release a good GPU accelerated decoder. Maybe DXVA 2.0 on vista will help.

Again, i cant confirm that for my 7600GT. Currently i am using Cyberlinks decoder only, because most of the h264 new*gro*p movies are too heavy for my CPU+CoreAVC, and I never saw those artifacts.
Can you send me a source sample from one of your movies that gives you artifacts ?

Btw, it wasn't easy to snap the same picture, is there a tool/trick to shoot excatly the same frame ?

However, there are artifacts on both decoders, but cyberlink dxva-on seems to produce a little more artifacts.

You tried, Media Player Classic "go to frame" function?

With DxVA on picture looks like "dirty", but I don't see any artifacts not on CoreAVC, nor PDVD with DxVA off. Maybe because of 17" display ^)
Also, there is VMR9 bug on NV, look on same picture with overlay mixer

After the "go to frame" positioned frame doesn't decoded, so you need to play and pause picture again :)

You can compress bmp images to png (lossless). That would safe a bandwidth and time to open it.

I'm too tired to laugh ;-).... Last thing we are now doing for Jarod is checking for site spelling errors (I am still sure he'll find a few i'll miss). Next up in about 2 hours is to change over to our new Core Account services and bring live the new server/site.

err another question: How do I dl the new version, been searching for 10min now... oh and according to 9/10th of the tags betaboy like boys :-)

*edit* and when I say dl, I mean in Coreaccount System (yes I bought the software and normally I am able to find everything)

Just received the update. But i'm in trouble to register the codec...

When i try to re- or un-register the codec i get the following message:

Error loading C:\Programme\CoreCodec\CoreAVC Professional\CoreAVCDecoder.ax

a dynamic link library (DLL) initializiation routine failed

Maybe i should have uninstalled the old version before ? :(

Before I register: Do I need to use my real name? Does it have to mach the name I bought my license with. Will it understand ä,ü,ö etc.? Will my name be visible to others, for example in the forums?

And yes, I am paranoid. :)

Houston, we've got a problem :

http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/7023/coreavc12in1.th.png (http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=coreavc12in1.png)

Registration of CoreAVCDecoder.ax can't be made...even manually. What's wrong ?

You name will be tied to the email so its already in the services... but its not even visable to me unless I jump through hoops.

It doesn't need your real name, or the name you used when buying it. You seem to be making an account for future use, rather than identifying yourself as a previous purchaser (I guess the customised URL handles that). I didn't use "special" characters.

Oh, and it works fine so far. :)
