You've probably not understood. Additional information sent a personal message. I gave little information to understand what I mean.

How about displaying movie info, e.g. from IMDB? I'm not too particular about exactly how and where that might be displayed, but it would be a great help selecting titles for viewing when you've got nothing particular in mind.
I'd be happy to add this to the Trac if it might receive some consideration.
Thanks for this great project.

I've been using my own builds of MPC-HC for quite some time now, and I've never had a build fail until now. I get this:in the log folder:
16:55:36.332 51>LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'notelemetry.obj' [c:\MPC-HC\src\mpc-hc\CrashReporterDialog\CrashReporterDialog.vcxproj]
I attempted the build with this:
build.bat both packages
build.bat both lite packages
build.bat both filters 7z
Building from the solution fails similarly, 'notelemetry.obj' being unavailable.
My build environment appears sane, I've since built nightly 207 error free using the above three build steps. Or is there a subtle problem I've missed?

Worth a shot.
Edit: That did the trick... Thanks.
What buffer size (KB) used in BufferFilter.ax?
With files with a large bitrate (very large ~25 Mbit/sec) with BufferFilter distorted image. What decoder is used does not matter (H/W or S/W).

Do like Snowknight26 told you. Same answer you've got on https://trac.mpc-hc.org/ticket/5857#comment:1
Take a file from another topic. Not displayed subtitle in this video. Player 234.
For this video need enable Internal Subtitle Render. Only choose in lav S: pgs is not enough.

I'm not going to add it to the MPC-HC just yet. assFilterMod is very young project and we need to see where it is heeding first. Right now it is picked up alexmarsev code with added settings window and some other tweaks. It is literally not tested and it only supports text subtitles so in order to use it we would need some sort of dynamic switching to other renderer which can support pgs/dvb/vob and other formats that are supported in MPC-HC at this moment.

If internal splitter is selected it will be used even if there is other prefered filter. At least I think I need to double check that. Anyway if you think something is not working as it should feel free to suggest change and we may implement it :)
As for toolbar size, it was way too small for moderns resolutions and above all it wasn't called to dpi. I think now it is little bit better.

disabling all internal filter to use external filters is quite some work compared to adding an external filter and setting it to preferred.
there is no need to change anything. i personally only disable them for testing anyway. it it just inconsistent and more work.

no question of cause it is better now.
with 200% scaling it is about 300% as big as before. i'm not sure about that size yet. i'm just to used to the very small ones.

If I understand you correctly, you don't need it. :)
It's a known "bug", it's already fixed in the main repo (https://github.com/alexmarsev/sanear) but it hasn't been integrated into MPC-HC yet.
I've compiled a standalone filter from master and it's working as it should, you can use it in the meantime: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1767992#post1767992

Not sure how you managed that because you can't use 32-bit filters in a 64-bit program. Register sanea64.ax and then add it to the external filters list as a preferred filter.

Sorry, I meant sanear64.ax. But now I'm confused - is adding sanear as an external filter the same as setting it as the default audio renderer under Playback->Output?
In any case, I get the same result - it follows the windows (in my case, realtek driver) setting.

If you add Sanear to the external list and set it as preferred, it will be used regardless of what you choose under Output. So no, it's not the same, despite it being the same code (though chros's build is newer).
Once you play a file, go to your system tray, right click on the Sanear icon and make sure "Ignore system channel mixer [...]" and probably "WASAPI Exclusive" mode is checked. I couldn't get correct channel output working without the later checked.

If you download https://github.com/alexmarsev/sanear/releases, you'll get register.bat and unregister.bat, use that with latest build from chros. I also found a compiled sanear from http://tmod.nmm-hd.org/Misc/sanear-v0.3-97-git-r423%28f7612c7%29.7z, included bat files.

"Ignore system channel mixer" is greyed out - it says "always ignored in exclusive WASAPI mode". So it sounds like the setup is right, but when I go to Filters->Sanear Audio Renderer, the channels are remixed to match the windows setting, and next to Processors it say "Matrix, Limiter".
So I'm not sure what else to try. Is this latest sanear build part of the nightlies? I haven't tried that yet, this is with the release version of 1.7.10

Interesting :) So:
1. do you have sanear tray icon during playback? (I guess so)
2. is Exclusive WASAPI mode checked in system tray settings?
3. go to system sound settings in Windows, select your sound device, hit properties, go to advanced tab, see if "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority" are checked
If all these 3 are true then it should work.

Anyone have any idea why this weird visual glitch (https://gfycat.com/TheseReliableGrison) occurs in MPC-HC but not in VLC? (VLC on the left, MPC-HC on the right). It continues to flicker like that for the entirety of the video.
Also noteworthy: it's a remux from .mkv .mp4 but otherwise identical video, but the mkv copy does not glitch like this.
I do a lot of remuxing and have used MPC-HC for years and I never seen anything like this before.
Redoing the remux still causes the same problem.
This particular video was remuxed along with two other MKV files and yet the other two files are fine with no glitches after the remux.
EDIT: Additional troubleshooting revealed the culprit: MadVR's smooth motion setting. Still, I'm baffled why this glitching doesn't happen on the bit-identical mkv copy of the video. Only on the mp4 remux.

Yes to all three. If anyone else has tried the 64 bit version, let us know so at least we can assume it must be something wrong with my installation rather than a bug in the sanear renderer.

Go to the Sound settings in Windows Control Panel. Open the properties of your audio device. On the Advanced tab there are two options for exclusive mode that should be enabled.

I've been using reclock with MPC-HC for years and switched to sanear recently cause it now supports WASAPI exclusive. Other than that, I haven't changed anything in my system.

Can you try with mpc-be? Set:
- Audio -> Audio renderer : MPC Audio Renderer (set it to Exclusive in WASAPI mode)
During playback you can check the results with: Filters -> MPC Audio Renderer -> Properties -> Status tab.

Hi,
I'm setting up MPC-HC to meet my daily requirements, and I have a lot of questions regarding customizing it.
1) Is it possible to change the OSD position from top-left to top-right?
If not, See the Ticket #1383 at the below page. OSD were placed in top-right, at least in the previous versions.
https://stable.mpc-hc.org/MPC%20HomeCinema%20-%20Win32/MPC-HC%20v1.5.2.3456_32%20bits/README.txt
2) I'd like a preview of the snapshot ("Save Image auto"), displayed in the top left, along with directory path and filename the snap will be saved. Possible?
3) Can I define the time value for the option "Jump Forward - Large"?
4) With the default "Internal Subtitle Renderer", the subs don't appear in the snaps. So I chose "VSFilter/ DirectVobSub" and the subs appear in snaps. However, for MKV files which has soft-coded subs track, only the Internal Renderer displays the subtitles in playback.
Any way to acheive both these funtions from using any one sub renderer? (If not, no probs. I could remux into mp4 using mkvtoolnix).
Thanks for any response.

:) OK, so that means it's not a driver problem. Since nobody reported this problem with the new version: are you sure that you use the new version as an external filter and not the 0.3 version (which is also integrated into MPC-HC)?
1. unregister the filter
2. playback something with MPC-HC: you shouldn't see the Sanear tray icon.
3. register the new filter again
4. it should work! :)
3) Can I define the time value for the option "Jump Forward - Large"?
4) With the default "Internal Subtitle Renderer", the subs don't appear in the snaps.
3. You can: in Options -> Tweaks.
4. What do you mean about snaps?
