Hi!Wow. They're rally pumping out the versions now, eh?But the official website is still making only v.1.8.4 available for download - Either lackadaisical about posting updates or there's a reason the subsequent betas are being withheld from official download.
BTW - Any idea of whether the ftp link for all of those betas is owned by "Smartlabs" or (the author) "Roman" (and how the link was obtained)? Just wondering if we should be accessing it...

Too many folks hammering the ftp at once probably. I got it and it looks like they're either done fiddling with it, or it's a first attempt at a package as it includes the cli, the gui, the readme (Russian, nothing obvious I could see as differences), and license.

Not sure about the end -- but it definitely adds garbage to the beginning. I had to add "silencer" code (modifying the sample values in the WAV files) to get rid of the loud SNAP at the beginning of WAV files.

Any information of the clpi output in version.24??
in version .23 there were a bunch of 30hex in de streams tracks do you know why ??
You stated fine and corse ep table is no rocket sience can you elaborate on that ??

You stated fine and corse ep table is no rocket sience can you elaborate on that ??
Quote:
TSMUXER seems to have a small bug that causes fast-forward, rewind, and seeking issues when creating Blu-ray output.
It appears as though the COARSE/FINE table relationship in the .CLPI file isn't being structured properly. The program correctly creates a new COARSE entry with the PTS rolls over (the LSBs contained in the FINE table get to a point where they will require an increment in the COARSE table). But it appears it doesn't do so (at least not always) when the same thing happens to the COARSE/FINE SPN. As a result, you have combined SPN pointers that suddenly drop to very small values (at least until the next COARSE reference)...
Just thought I'd mention it in case someone is keeping the package up-to-date. If not, I guess I can write a simple program to read/rewrite the CLPI (I'd rather see it fixed in the program, though). I just did one by hand and it fixed the problems -- now rewind/fast-forward works correctly and I no longer get "pauses" when I jump between chapters.
Quote:
Easy to write a program -- a little tedious to do by hand. You have to find the instances where it happens and add a new COARSE entry. The easiest way is to just read the tables into memory and then simply rewrite the COARSE/FINE correctly back into the CLPI file (then change the pointers/references).
Quote:
For example, when you try to reverse it will go a few seconds backward and then start going forward. When you seek to a chapter, you sometimes will hear sound for a few seconds before the picture catches up. Some are worse than others. It all depends how far off the packet pointers are off. ...If you dump the table IT IS VERY OBVIOUS there is a mistake in the CLPI.
Quote:
Attached is a small command line program that will correct the CLPI. Just run it with a single parameter that represents the path to the CLPI file that was created by TSMUXER in blu-ray mode. If it finds the error (it will normally be there except on very small muxes) it will rewrite the CLPI with the tables corrected.

in version .23 there were a bunch of 30hex in de streams tracks do you know why ?? You see that in commercial sources also. Normally those locations hold a 0x00 value... but for some reason, sometimes you see 0x30, which is the ASCII value for "0"... no idea why or what the reasoning is, but it has no affect I can see. It appears to be in the "reserved for future use" areas.

I have a Blu-ray m2ts file loaded in TSMuxer which gives me 2 VC-1 streams.
I only need the 1080p VC-1. can I without problems uncheck the 720p VC-1?
Why are there 2 video streams in this movie?
teox99

some movies provide more than one video traks usually two: 1080p for fullHD and 720p for HDReady display. I think you can easily delete one.

But it is in the same m2ts file. Isn't it needed for certain scenes where it switches to the 720p VC-1 or is this wrong thinking?
I have used TSMuxer for Gomorra BD and it plays certain scenes over and over. The main m2ts file is one big one so it isnt that it multiplexed more m2ts files into 1.
I have no clue what could cause this. The audio and subs go on though. Only the video repeats itself afer about 25 min.
teox99

usually are two separated video tracks (in the single m2ts file). audio tracks are the same for both video stream. i think is not possible that the movie mix the video tracks during the stream.

10th March 2009, 16:36
Also when I sometimes load a m2ts file I get the common "Unsupported Format......Some tracks not recognized. This track was ignored..." It points to the m2ts file I just loaded.

Why are there 2 video streams in this movie? Look at the PID. It could be a secondary video stream as nwg mentioned. For example, it may be used for a picture-in-picture function.

The MPLS can reference portions of an M2TS based on the Start and End times in the playitem() entry.

@jdobbs: where can I find PID?
When I load the BD in BDInfo, the MPLS only points to this particular m2ts file. So what can I do with that?
jdobbs

If you open the M2TS or MPLS in TSMUXER, and select DEMUX it will give you the PID number as a part of the filename in the bottom (META) window.

You have to open one the M2TS file that has the video in it by clicking on the ADD button. You will then see a line in the bottom that says "Track=" -- if the value is 69xx (this is the PID) it is probably a secondary video track, if it is 41xx it isn't.

ericdMaybe you'd get a better response with an attitude adjustment - screaming that somebody help you 48 hours after your question is posed doesn't normally get people into a helpful mood. Also, try posting more information about your problem, you've essentially just said "Subs don't work on my PS3". You haven't said what format your source file is (BluRay, TS, MKV?) or what format the problem subs are (SUP, SRT, PGS?)
I suspect it's a simple matter of you not outputting to a compatible format - you can only get subs working on a PS3 by burning to a BD/MiniBD or creating an AVCHD structure. If you are streaming from your PC, you won't gets subs no matter what you do.
If this response is not satisfactory, I'm sure Doom9 will refund you in full for the cost of membership. Oh wait...

hi deank its me again thx
well here is a sample of the bluray structure done with tsmuxer and also the meta ,i have to say that it is a 1920x1080p mkv as source,i want to make it works with ps3 or powerdvd8 ,but still no subs!! ansi charset is used with, itry cambria font buti also try with others fonts, still a mystery that nothings appears..
here is the meta of the file
MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --blu-ray --vbr --auto-chapters=5 --vbv-len=500
V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC, "L:\movie.mkv", insertSEI, contSPS, track=1, lang=eng
A_AC3, "L:\movie.mkv", track=2, lang=eng
S_TEXT/UTF8, "L:\movie.srt",font-name="Cambria",font-size=70,font-color=0x00FFFFFF,font-charset=0,bottom-offset=70,font-border=1,text-align=center,video-width=1920,video-height=1080,fps=23.976, lang=fre
and here is a sample of the .ts iinside the bluray structure ,i mean in the stream folder ,you have the subs in atachment
http://rapidshare.com/files/195062291/try.ts.html
subs http://rapidshare.com/files/195065540/The_Searchers.srt.html
thx for helping as usual deank
Probably the first question I should have asked is - HOW do you play the output of tsMuxer?
If you try to play m2ts/ts files one by one (via XMB in PS3) - you'll never get the subtitles working. I suggest you try with mutiAVCHD and see if it gives you any errors. I downloaded your samples and will try with them in a minute.
***
I loaded your try.ts sample in multiAVCHD and (using your subtitles try.srt) it produced this:

I guess the fact that the SmartLabs folks have posted v.1.8.24 at their website (not just an ftp) means it's a presumably stable release.
Unfortunately, the posted "History" does not specifically state whether modifications were made regarding processing of VC-1 files: Bug fixed: Plenty of minoir bug fixed
Bug fixed: Dolby True-HD issue on hardware players fixed
Feature: Tags for SRT subtitles support - tags for changing font, color, size, etc.; tag's syntax is similar to HTML;
Feature: United cross-platform GUI - Windsows, Linux, MacOS.
