You should find with Ratatouille that the audio goes a bit out of sync at each of the join points eventually ending up way off after the 15-20 joins that are required.
It's something to do with repeated audio frames I have read, but can't be sure as I've no idea what I'm talking about with that sort of stuff.

BD Ratatouille's problem is not really big.
The sound is acutely a bit faster than the video, so you always hear tham faster (about 0.5sec) than you see. But this problem is not a huge issue, since you can fix easily by remux with Tsremux.
The Biger issue I had facing with tsMuxeR is when I remux AVC which is "29.97" fps. (not sure people talk about this on the thread before or not, don't have too much time to read all the pages)
At the moment all HD DVD movie with h264 stream all have 29.97fps, all of them have sync problem with tsMuxeR.
I need to try few more movies to confirms this. but at the moment I had tried Transformers, Shooter, all the same.
PS. Does anyone know any program can allow you convert 29.97fps to 23.976fps?

vc1conv 0.3 for vc1 streams and h264info for H264 streams.

It is very easy. You need to click to H.264 track in tsMuxer and change fps value in general track options.

Hi Roman,
Great Software! Works perferctly for my needs, except for the AC3 muxing with stream_type 0x06 (DVB) ;-)
Thank you very much!
Hi Roman,
I hope I am not bugging you too much here. I am also using my STB to play HD content and there seems to be a roadblock for the complete HD-STB community: Today there is no TS-Muxer which can mux h264 and AC3 into stream type 0x06, therefore I am getting down on my knees and begging you to implement this into your wonderful tool! I certainly propose to have a donation tab in the menue, because I think you deserve this credit!
:thanks:

Thanks for a truly great program :-)
I just have 2 quick questions:
1. Is there plans of supporting LPCM (5.1, 6.1 and 7.1) in the near future?
2. Where do I find the proper audio delay settings, for each stream in tsMuxeR, I can find the option for applying audio delay, but the program does not seam to list the proper audio delay in the audio stream info ?
Hope some of you can help :-)

Roman could you check why this AC3 is not recognized by TSMuxer? MediaInfo detects correctly.

Im sorry if you are making a mkv then yes you need to convert sup to a .srt. But why would you need tsmuxer?
Because it's the only way I have found (and can figure out:-), which would allow me to get streams into something like AutoMKV, which I can then use to shrink and wrap into an MKV, so that's I can store on my NAS and play through Vista Media Center.
But, last night I started recoding a BR movie with subtitles, using tsMuxerR, into a smaller file (forcing max 4000 VBR). It is taking forever (still at 50%), but hopefully when done, I'll have a smaller (hopefully less than 6-7gb), high quality file, with audio and subtitles which can be viewed within WMP (which is used by VMC).
If there is a better way to do this, please let me know.

What about inverse pulldown? Are you saying that tsMuxeR automatically deals with this?

@Roman
Currently it seems as if tsMuxer does not take ms into account when using custom chapter points. At least it did not work using this format xx:xx:xx.xxx and I really liked playback to start at the right frame.
Could you please add support for ms?

I don't know about all the technical stuff, but the few HD-DVD AVC 29.97fps movies I've converted to stream to my PS3, worked after putting through tsMuxer. No need for h264info to remove the pulldown thingy.

I'll plan to add BD+ tracks support in future. tsMuxeR it is not necessary to decode BD+. There will be one restriction: BD+ tracks сan be processed from M2TS source only and can't be demuxed.
LPCM support are almost ready. In the following version tsMuxer can remux, demux LPCM to WAVE and mux PCM WAVE files as LPCM tracks.

I just want to be sure of sth : I would like to remux a full movie to TS from a list of M2TS files (BluRay).
If I add first M2TS file then append the rest of M2TS files, then select tracks (valid for all sources ?), then hit remux, am I doing well ?
Thank you ...

I'll like to make a request.
be able to mux multiple files and have playlist and chapter them that files. Will be really usefull for anime eps. Like 10 eps on a DVD5 in bluray format. The chapters need to be at each 5 min, and start from the 0 at each new eps.
oh ya, if you do that, maybe we will need a menu for selectionning which eps to play.
what do you think about that ?

Make sure that your m2ts start at IDR-Frames (key frames). Use h264Cutter.

First of all I must say I love this proggy!!!
Thanks a bunch :)
What I am trying to do is use this program to convert my HD DVD's over to M2TS so I can stream them over my network.
My problem is with subtitles.
I am using EVOdemux to extract the sub's from the HD DVD in the form of sup file.
I then open tsMuxeR and point to both EVO files, the first one I pick "add" and the second file I "append".
I then pick the sup file and click "add".
I allow tsMuxeR to start muxing but I do not think it's adding the sup file into the final M2TS file.
Am I doing a step or two or even three wrong????
Any help would be great :)
Thanks

Oooops,
Forgot to ask if the sup file is going to be hard coded or will it be in its own file so I can toggle it on and off?
The reason for all the subtitle questions is because my wife is deaf and when I watch movies with her subtitles are a must.
When I watch movies by myself I like to turn off the subtitles.

Just a little notice, when dealing with original avchd files, it seems as there is no idr frames , so when using h264cutter with cutin I-frame and cutout all-frames and loading this file in tsmuxer it will not accept the h264 video track only sees audio. Tsremuxer sees both tracks. Also tsmuxer says that the size is 1440x1084i , while other programs like h264cutter/tsremuxer says the size is 1440x1088i.
Can you try it roman , in case you need files from avchd camera i can send u.

This file has following parameters:
resolution: 1440x1088i
cropping: bottom_offset = 2. Cropping flag has x2 coefficient for interlaced video. final(display) resolution: 1088-2*2 = 1084 lines.

It does not contrary to standard and called "open gop".

I think that h264cutter incorrectly processes H.264 stream with open GOP. tsRemuxer does not analize video stream when display tracks list, opposite tsMuxer always analize video stream before display information.

Hi, roman.
Thanks for LPCM support.
Blu-ray LPCM track is demuxed as a wav file with channel remapping!
A small request.
How about adding "uncheck all" button between down and remove button?
This would be very useful when demuxing a certain track.

Hello again Roman...
In your latest version (1.5.0b) I noticed another little addition under your "General" tab. You now have a "Restore cropped video to full size". Can you describe exactly what it does. Does it distort the pixel AR to fill the entire screen?... Or something else?

tsMuxeR is a muxing application. It doesn't do encoding of any sort. So the subtitles are muxed into the output file (BD sup/m2ts presentation graphic stream) .
The subs are switchable, just like they are on commercial discs. :)
