Didn't notice the cut feature, but the Split didn't work, i choose 4.37 but the final project was 4.6gb

The split function wont reduce the overall size, it will just split the main movie mts file into chunks of whatever size you choose.

Can you check sub on PS3 in 1080p mode?

I don't have anything in 1080p on my hard drive at the moment.

I'm in the process of redoing the 720p file again on a different machine just to make sure its not a machine issue.

But Atak_Snajpera did post saying it didn't work at 1080p either.

I've noticed the same problem but with Blu-Ray structure on DVD in my case. 1080p or 720p doesn't matter.

I don't have power dvd but I have downloaded a 1080p sample and I'm trying that out now.
The remux on a different machine didn't show subs either.

Damn the 1080p is cropped and that doesn't seem to play at all.

Hello,
Sorry for my bad English.
I have the same problem B4tm4n
Atak_Snajpera and Glorioso.

But, I have a temporal solution for 720p Movie working with subtitles.

-Open the Mkv and the srt with tsMuxer.
-Demux the Srt in sup with tsMuxer (720p)
-Open this sup with Supread, export this sup with supread (this new sup is 1080p but the position of the subtitles are correct for 720p).
-Open again the Mkv with tsMuxer, add the new sup 1080p of supread.
-Create the BluRay structure.
-Play with PS3, the subtitles show up correctly.

This is working for me.

Good news. This method can help me to solve a problem.

I found several minor difference between my PGS track and reference PGS track from Blu-ray disk.

version 1.8.1(b) (http://www.smlabs.net/tsMuxer/tsMuxeR_1.8.1(b).zip)

Also, this version allow to add .SRT tracks in both Unicode and ANSI formats.

Because your other samples contain "space" characters in the empty lines. I'll fix it tomorrow.

Sorry for my poor English first.

I also have got a message "Can't convert UTF-8 to UTF-16. Invalid source text". and I found that it's OK when the charset is set to "ANSI_CHARSET" and English font.

However TsMuxer said error message when it's set to "HANGEUL_CHARSET"(Korean) for Korean font. I believe that the other charset also have same trouble except English.

I hope that you can fix this soon.

I've done the same like Erdelamoto.

-Demux the Chinese Srt in sup with tsMuxer.

-Create the BluRay structure.

Thanks again for your information. I have found the following bug: when tsMuxer converts 24-bit RGB color into 24 bit YUV color, sometimes several RGB colors correspond to the single YUV color(because initially YUV contains only 11.2 milions of colors, but RGB color space contains 16.7 millions). When it happens, tsMuxer forms 2 different records in the palette definition. It is not correct.

Here new version:

I just converted another HD-DVD to Blu-Ray with v1.7.6 and subs didn't show on PS3. But when using v1.7.1 then it shows. I guess you did invalid code corrections with subs processing earlier then in v1.8.0.

I am using version 1.8.1(b) to convert Create Blu-Ray Disk, the Chinese subtitle can show up conrrectly in PC PowerDVD but not in Sony PS3 or in Panasonic BD-30, although it does have check box for you to choose Chinese subtitle. I tried to convert to SUP file, then convert to Create Blu-Ray using 1.7.6 version, the Chinese can show up but not in the same pace of the sound.

I not sure about the subs yet, in the process of checking.
But the split function has been broken, in version 1.7.x a CLIPINF files was created for every split m2ts file but in 1.8.x theres only 1 CLIPINF file been created no matter how many m2ts files there are.

I'm putting the files from 1.8.x into 1.7.6 to see if it creates the missing files.

I'm only getting 1, I'm going to have to test on another computer.
I'll post when I've doubled checked.

The files aren't created if I aim tsMuxer to create the bluray files direct on to my FAT32 Flash drive or hard drive, but are created if I make the file on my local drive.
Now I've gone and dropped my only spare Hard drive and broke it so can't test a full movie.

Yes the subs are showing now on PS3.

Thanks for your hard work.

One thing there black lines going from the subs off to the right.
The pictures aren't any good but you see what I mean.

To get the subtitles playing in PS3 is the creation of an AVCHD dvd mandatory?

Or do the resulting .m2ts files also display the subs when played directly though dlna streaming or usb stick?

Guys here report that AVCHD also plays from USB-flash/hard drives if rename 'BDMV' folder to 'AVCHD' and put it to the root. But also filenames of all files should be changed to short 8.3 format.
