is there an x264 ecoder gui insteed
You could use megui and add borders to the top and bottom of your video with a avs script. I have tutorials on here on how to do that.

After reading many pages of this thread, I have a question: Will you be able to get TrueHD (using the TSRemux workaround) or DTS-HD MA to work if you're using a Sony BDP-S350 & a HDMI 1.3 receiver (Onkyo TX-SR806)? When I say work, I mean actually getting the HD audio, not down-mixed to DD or DTS...has anyone w/this BD player & a HDMI receiver been able to do it? I've been making BD9s for months & wanted to create some BD25s w/the at least 1 full-bitrate audio track...thanks for all the information already provided, it's a great read...I've been using v1.8.6b for months & learned alot more about this wonderful application...will update to 1.8.8 tonite...

Have you put the TS (that you created) as input instead of the mkv for muxing to bluray?
This worked for me with 2 movies with this error.
With one movie it didnt work but I tried a diffrent whey that worked for the (problem) video ('s).
Open the ts with gdmux and mux it to a new mkv. Then try with the new mkv to create a bluray with tsmuxer. If it still gives you the error you can try to mux the new mkv again to TS and then TS->bluray
I hope this helps for you 2.
Do you know the error bufferoverflow that tsmuxer gives sometimes? This can easly fixed when you demux the audio and put the demuxed audio track in tsmuxer instead of the audio track in that mkv.
Maby you can try this 2...
hello
I succeeded has to make pass the Troy film without code error with tsmuxer.
I am ale in split& cut and coachman Split by size every 7gb. why its walk has?
I do not know, but the result is.

I adore this programm as it allows me to remux my HDV footage to m2ts.
My workflow is:
1. wrighting my final cut video-timeline as lossless 1080i25 HDV "video only" to desktop
2. rendering my final cut audio-timeline as ac3 with compressor
3. Put those to files into tsMuxerGui via crossover for remuxing to m2ts
It would be perfect if it would accept my "complete" original mov (HDV1080i25MPEG2/PCM Little Endian) right from my fcp timeline? Like I said: at the moment tsMuxer does only accept a "video-only" mov.
An example of such an file is availabale here: http://rapidshare.com/files/193917252/test.mov

Hi everybody,
I faced problem with a 1280x536 movie when using tsmuxer.
My SAP Samsung BDR-1500 displays a sort of 4:3 image instead of the real format.
Is there's a way to avoid this issue?
Thank you by advance.
(I submited this issue to Dean but I think this issue is more related to tsmuxer this forum is a better place).

Has anyone noticed if using a HD DVD evo file (evo of the movie from using evodemux) that it converts the video to 1080i/29.97 instead of keeping it at 1080p/24? Is it still 1080p/24 and just flagged wrongly. If so, how to I change it back?
I don't get the problem with BD.

Hey guys,
those of you wanting to mux TrueHD with tsMuxeR, have a look here:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=1786&pid=142947#pid142947
This is a tool which should fix the TrueHD related problems in m2ts files created by tsMuxeR. It's comparable to what Ts4NP does, but should be much faster.

The BDP350 that I used is my inlaws, and they do not have an HD audio receiver. I hope to get a BDP350 in the near future so hopefully I can report back soon. My player is the PS3, it has no problems decoding TrueHD and DTS HD-MA tracks on DVD9.
Really? I tested this myself a few days ago. Extracted one of the smaller m2ts files on a BD title. Then ran tsmuxer on it, removed all the tracks apart from TrueHD one and created a BD formatted directly (BDMV). Copied the BDMV directory to a USB stick and tried to play that in the PS3. The video played fine - there was no audio.
Though I haven't tried others have reported getting DTS HD Master to work on AVCHD formatted disks, but not TrueHD. I wonder what you did differently to create a AVCHD formatted title with TrueHD that played okay?

Is there any who has managed to convert a 720p.mkv-file with tsMuxeR (1.8.8b) (or any other program?) and play it from a SD Card on a Panasonic DMP-BD35/55 ?

The TrueHD fix has been implemented into the main build of ToNMT, have a look here:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=1786&pid=143269#pid143269
Details of the latest 5.3.0 Beta:
Fixes the TrueHD TsMuxer issue (no more need for Ts4NP!)
Fixes an issue with not closing properly after HD DVD muxing
Fixes issue where temp files were left (keepTempFiles option was coded backwards)
Note for Vista Users:
Depending where you put your output and your settings, Vista might not let me update the final TS file.
If you get an error saying (FileNotFoundException (Access Denied)), you can either rerun ToNMT as administrator, or run QuickFix (as administrator) to fix the file.

SD playback uses different kind of index/movieobjx/clipinfo/playlist files. I'm trying to implement it in multiAVCHD (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=143744).

Not sure it's relevant but whenever I use tsmuxer to create AVCHD formatted content and copy it to a USB stick, the PS3 can't see it either. That is until I found a program called avchdme which fixes the names of the files in the BDMV directory to be 8.3 compliant and also fixes up some header information. You could try that?

Ok... question. And sorry of it's simple, or asked before. I dug thru many of the pages here and had no luck. If there is a better place for this question, please let me know.
But I need to find out how to rip a BD while keeping the essential english subtitles in Tsmuxer 1.8.8(b) I just bought Miracle at St Anna, and when I ripped the disk to place in my HTPC, none of the subtitles are there. So I re-ripped it with the english subtitles, and now there are subtitles in every scene, not just the foreign language ones. In the main screen of tsmuxer, how can you tell which are the required, only shown when needed, subtitles (if possible?)

What you want is the forced subs. The easiest way to tell is to install Eac3to then put a program called HD DVD/Blu Ray Stream Extractor in the same Eac3to folder. Run this on the complete ripped disc and any subtitles that are forced will have forced in the description. You then tick the subs you want and extract them to another location. Then load them in TsMuxer along with the video and audio (can use the already ripped ones) to create a new BD.

edit to add:
oops... seems I missed the second english subtitle track... that's the one I wanted. Now just to figure out how to hard code it with tsmuxer so I don't have to select it

if i have a an x264 .mkv file that was poorly encoded with 1 ref frame too many which causes it to not play on the popcorn hour network media tank (even after running through tsMuxeR, which usually makes any mkv work on the pch even 1080p with higher then L4.1 h264 video level and dts audio) can I use a program to fix the .ts I already made or is the only way, to work with the original mkv and reencode it as mkv again but this time with the proper ref frames?
is there anything tsMuxeR can do to fix this file? like other special settings I didn't do the first time remuxing it to .ts?

I have mentioned in other threads that Cyberlink PowerDVD does not always nail my Chapter Marks when skipping from chapter-to-chapter. I've found that jdobbs' fixclpi.exe is absolutely necessary, but PDVD still misses by a frame or two sometimes.
Since removing "contSPS" from my tsMuxeR blu-ray output options this problem is completely gone.
I'm not sure if contSPS tromps-on existing SPS/PPS or what, but I rarely argue with success so I'm not using it any more. I wonder now too if the commonly used insertSEI is also needed. From what I've read this has more to do with broadcast streams perhaps?
P.S. I do recall too that ReadMe says contSPS is recommended for PS3. But who cares about PS3... ;)

I've been using this progam to remux x264 .mkv (mostly 1080p with dts) to .ts for better more stable playback and compatability with the popcorn hour (networked media tank). .ts for a couple reasons is just more stable on the pch (popcorn houor) then mkv and can usually handle the intensive 1080p stuff with dts 100% of the time. sometimes when an mkv doesn't play properly on the pch (often because its 1080p with dts and has higher then l4.1 video or high ref frames), the fix is to just remux it to .ts which usually works 100% of the time so i started just doing it all the time for every mkv file rather then transfering the mkv to my pch and then if it didn't play right, then remuxing to .ts in tsMuxeR.
Well I had a movie not play right as a .ts now. I just assumed that therefore no way would the mkv play right and that it was just so badly encoded that even the .ts made from tsMuxeR didn't even play properly on the pch.
on a whim though I tested the mkv only to find it does work fine. so now I am concerned that I shouldn't be remuxing my mkv to .ts and mostly I am just very curious as to why the .ts wouldn't work but the mkv does when if anything its usually the opposite because of ow the popcorn hour works. it can handle very intensive .ts and is stable but not mkv as well. sometthing about it using hardware for .ts and software for mkv or vice versa.
the only thing i could find wrong with the file was that it had supposedly 1 ref frame too many at 5. should be 4 i guess. but why would the .ts made using tsMuxeR not work in the pch and the mkv does? I just want to know the reason why and know if this is a fluke or should I not be remuxing to .ts anymore for the pch.
i know the pch fw's has improved mkv playback but i doubt the .ts playback would get worse. Is there a setting in tsMuxeR that can lower the ref frame from 5 to 4. maybe that would work. i mean ultimatley i guess i dont need to remux it to .ts if the mkv works after all, but again i'm just really curious as to why the .ts doesnt' work and the mkv does when usually if anything its the opposite in the case wehre some mkv dont work for whatever reason remuxing to .ts has always worked for playback on the pch.
I will list the media info for both the mkv and the .ts

I did reencode it correctly but I'm just wondering why when I remuxed the first encode (that had 5 ref frames) to .ts, it didn't work but then when I tried the mkv (even the first encode with the 5 ref frames) it did.
i mean i guess i'm best off with the one I reencoded and even remuxing that one to .ts but again i'm just wonder why the .ts of the one with the 5 ref frames didn't work while the mkv did. more of a question for the popcorn hour forums i guess i know but i was just trying to get some insight on the tsMuxeR side of the equation cus as i've said, usually an mkv that doesnt' work for whatever reason, after running through tsMuxeR, the .ts of it does. and that is quicker then reencoding it (from the original disc or even from the first encode with the 5 ref frames)

load your m2ts into tsMuxer, it will list all the streams (video, audio, subtitles) in the container, then just uncheck any unwated video/autio/subtitle streams to reduce the overall file size, mux to another file and burn as needed...
ultimately, you only need one video and one audio track, hope that helps...

Can't view the attachment yet but it sounds you might have browser hijacker spyware. Try running something like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or SuperAntiSpyware software.
Thanx I have installed a fresh windows and it works again!
Antispyware didn't work for me
:thanks:

download:

gui still shows old version though if you use it (as it is an old gui). New GUI is supposed to be out soon:

not the important ones like CLIPINF bugs:
Aspect Ratio sometimes wrong
Number of packets incorrectly calculated
Coarse/Fine table incorrect
Also the version numbers in the headers are are still mixed up (sometimes BD, sometimes AVCHD)
The BD directory structure is still not correct
Seamless Branching Not Handled Correctly
1080i50 VC1 streams simply not recognied

heve anyone tried to run tsmuxer under wine?
using wine the gui seems to works but it doesnt retrive all the file tracks - actually windows works right, showing everything ok, i think under wine it's enough if the gui give all the parameters for the meta file, then you can use the unix version to make the job.
any idea? some dll needed?
in attach the gui under wine.
thx
