ffdshow has been dead and obsolete for many years. There will be no updates, fixes or anything.

Any further discussion and comments are completely pointless.

It has been mainly superseded by LAV Filters. Except for the generic VfW Codec part, unfortunately.

Is there anything available to replace ffdhow raw? I only use the profiles with autoload conditions for realtime avisynth processing for which it works fine just curious if there was anything that would replace it.

I would like to use a VirtualDub filter in FFDshow. But I can't find a menu where this is possible, even though I checked it during the installation.

Can someone give me a hint on where I can insert my VirtualDub filter?
