@chummy
There was a bug causing the executable path not being added to the command line.
@Yanak
I've updated AviSynth+ and fixed the extension being added to the output path even when no source is loaded.
@RazorBurn, sneaker_ger, TalasNetrag
I can probably add timecode support, a sample source file would be helpful.

The build I've uploaded today unfortunately is broke unless you have a 4K display with 300% zoom, it will be much work to fix. :(
edit:
new test build is online, hopefully without scaling/layout issues.

Thanks for the new build and fixes will try later at home.
Stax can i use the settings from previous StaxRip-x64-1.3.8.9-test build in this build ( i use settings stored in the program folder ), I mean can I just move the settings folder into the new build or is it risky to do it like this for potential conflicts or errors ??
Thank you.

Well i tested like this with importing settings, little things i found directly for the scaling :
default mp4 container selected on main window > containers options :

Thanks to you for the dedicated work you put on this.
The first issue for the chapters is fixed, sadly the second one isn't and is somehow a bit worse now, previously the window had a reduced size compared to before and no border on the right side like highlighted here :
https://s14.postimg.org/z9q99uuox/34944633621820161027192922.png
Now with the StaxRip-x64-1.3.9.3-test the window for "command line container options " is different but a part of the command is missing/ not displaying until we click and get the edit batch command window :

All good now, window is smaller for the command line compared to main build but it's perfect as it is, was too big before for just a few commands.

Hi stax76
I was hoping you could add support for a debanding filter for Vapoursynth and Avisynth in a future release.
flash3kyuu_deband 2.0pre2 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1712577#post1712577) supports both VS and AVIsynth.
Thank you for all your had work on this excellent tool.

@Lupissimo, telarium, RieGo
You can use scripting (main menu > Tools > Scripting) to get the DPI values for both screens, script code:
using static StaxRip.ShortcutModule;
dynamic app = Scripting.App;
var graphics = g.MainForm.CreateGraphics();
app.ShowMsg(graphics.DpiX.ToString() + "/" + graphics.DpiY.ToString());
graphics.Dispose();

just create a new text file in that folder and call it something like dpi.csx.
fill it with the code and you can run it from scripts menu.

Why not use all CPU cores at full when encore with x265 (or x264)? It is always about 60% only. Although saturate the CPU, I prefer get some FPS.

I have 3 screens, switching between them and having at most a dual monitor setup, never having a 3 screen connected at the same time, mostly running on a 1920x1080 for main screen and a 1024x1280 set in portrait mode as second screen , the third one is a 1920x1080 connected through HDMI, using it as a display for movies and only from times to times.
https://s14.postimg.org/6wurjati9/60188320161101000047.png
Today i switched to the display of the main 1080p one with the 2nd 1080p one in extended and forgot to switch back to normal dual screen mode. When launching Staxrip i have the same issue as others.
Weird stuff if that it doesn't happen in single or dual screen mode when using the main 1080p alone or in combination with the 1024p one in portrait mode, Main connected in DVI, and the small one via a displayport to DVI adaptator, but when using both 1080p ones ( Main one in DVI and extended one connected in HDMI) i get the problem.
All screens reports 96/96 when using the script in previous page, scaling is at 100% for all screens, on a 7970Ghz and win7.
Should have tested this before when testing the various scaling issues, sorry for noticing this only now.
stax76
1st November 2016, 08:08
I figured out that the form size gets cut at screen size before scaling happens, I have to go back to the initial 144 DPI at design time which not only means revoking much of recent work but also having to change resolution and zoom every time I want to use the WinForms designer. Working with WinForms using a 4K display is a sad situation I'm afraid, I wish now having used WPF since day one.

I would like to encode x265 on my dual Xeon CPU machine.
To use the nodes as effectively as possible I encode 2 movies at the same time. Movie a with node 0 and movie b with node 1. This works pretty good. But what to do when there is only one movie to encode?
Is it possible to cut the movie (only the video track) into two parts and encode part a with node 0 and part b with node 1 with staxrip? After that I would like to merge the parts and mux them with the audio tracks in "MKVToolNix Gui". I encode the audio tracks separately with another application.
How to cut the movie into two parts? I tried it with staxrip, but never succeeded. Is there a instruction manual?

Thank you for the update! The screens are ok now. I had to install the latest grafic driver to avoid a program crash.
Now I have the following problem trying to edit the container configuration ( throw out subtitles or attachments). There is no OK button to transfer the edited settings to the script.
I tried to overcome this by deselecting all subs, so that they are not extracted, in order to be able to cut the movie, but even though there are no subs in the temp directory, staxrip still does not allow processing due to subs not being able to be cut.

--vbr2 4428 --codec h265 --bframes 0 --ref 4 --qp-init 1 --aq --level 4.1 --output-buf 128
