i've create package for Archlinux in AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/tsmuxer-ng/

this list of dependencies is correct?

'gcc-libs'
'freetype2'
'qt4'

O! Great. Thank you very much.
If you can create package - I'll put link to the first page. And yes, dependency list is correct.
P.S.:
- 'qt4' is required for tsMuxerGUI only
- 'freetype2' is required for tsMuxeR only

Physic, great work. I post all new releases on NMT Forum, but that forum is down.

As for Mac OS X, simple bugs, Im still getting first launch of tsMuxer and add a mpls the first time it gives "!" error, and then a second try, it doesnt happen.

Also, the dmg you make the tsMuxer in never allows to be ejected in finders side bar, unless I go into Disk Utility and eject it from there.

Thanks

Looks like bug appear for very first run for each new version. I got it too. But if I close muxer gui, then run again, bug doesn't appear any more.

I just updated dmg file under same link. I fixed dmg building a little bit. I hope "not found" problem is solved. Please, download version again

Oh, one last thing.. When tsMuxer 2.6.3b is launched on Mac OS X 10.8.5 and I add a mpls for a main movie, why do I get a folder called d/ in my Applications directory with these folders inside:
hdtv
SHERLOCK_HOLMES
BDMV
PLAYLIST

I forget to comment debug code on muxer startup which open test mpls file on my Windows PC by this path. I'll fix it within 10-15 min and update all links.

I just rechecked it. It works for my dts-es 6.1 track. Could you upload a sample?

Look at track info:
http://iceimg.com/cYssY4vR/dts-es-thumb.jpg (http://iceimg.com/cYssY4vR/dts-es.jpg)
Provide a short .dts sample if you have problems with DTS-ES detection.

I double checked on Up (2009) and the 2.6.3b nor the 2.6.4b version detects it:

http://thumbnails110.imagebam.com/29531/47036f295302070.jpg (http://www.imagebam.com/image/47036f295302070)

I try to provide a sample of the dts track...

EDIT: when I demux the core and open it, then it says "DTS" in the codec column and "Channels: 6.1" in the track info, where the pre-2.6 versions say "5.1", so this seems good, but no "ES" sign though...

Great job Physic! Two issues resolved that I reported today.
When tsMuxer 2.6.4b is launched on Mac OS X 10.8.5 and I add a mpls for a main movie, I don't get the folder called d/ in my Applications directory with these folders inside:
hdtv
SHERLOCK_HOLMES
BDMV
PLAYLIST

Also, I didn't get this bug yet:
First launch of tsMuxer 2.6.4b and add a mpls the first time it no longer gives "!" error.

I did look inside the tsMuxer.app I can see release_notes.txt is inside: tsMuxerGUI.app/Contents/MacOS/

Is this where release notes is supposed to be? or is there a button on the tsMuxer GUI that would let me check on updates and or release notes?

Thanks

I try to provide a sample of the dts track...

No need in sample.. i already provided it to physic.
There are two variants of DTS-ES: matrix and discrete.
DTS-ES (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DTS_(sound_system)#DTS-ES)
tsMuxer 2.6.4 detects DTS-ES discrete. Detection of DTS-ES matrix still need to be implemented.
Anyway it's not a big deal. tsMuxer didn't modify dts/dts-core and ES part is on its place after processing.

Zorg
16th December 2013, 01:21
yea sure, no big deal, results are fine :) I'm just reporting, because of the "ES" ability claimed :)

I did notice on my tsMuxer 2.6.4b that the output window showed:
Network Optix tsMuxeR. Version 2.1.8(b).

It should be using 2.6.4b….? right? Well, it remuxes just fine in tsMuxer 2.5.7b.

Seems doom9 forum must have panicked and deleted my post that contained the Meta File info of the movie I remuxed. Sorry!

I was remuxing a BDMV folder of a main movie and got error:. The ISO won't mount or play in Mac Blu-ray player. SO, it error at the 100% mark during the muxing.

@physic - thanks for all the new releases. I think you probably already have this request on your list, but just in case, I tried to add a TrueHD (.thd) audio file that I had demuxed with MeGUI and I'm getting a "Can't detect stream type" window and the file is not added. It would be great if we could add these files. Thanks a lot.

Your .thd file without AC3 core. In this case:
Audio data starts with THD frame instead of AC3 frame. Ts muxer can't parse such tracks. May be I'll fix it in a future
Demuxing TrueHD as thd+ac3 will help.

I'm starting to incline toward the idea that it is not a tsMuxeR bug. Unfortunatly I did'nt got PS3 at last weekend. But I checked this sample on my Samsung SmartTV and TMT too. Sample played without problem. Also, since version 2.6.4 I don't see any difference in SEI timings values between Scenarist and tsMuxeR.

.. other than register as a Microsoft Developer (which requires a fee each year) and make sure the installer is signed with the key that belongs to the registration.
But for freeware tools which are developed by someone who already has an developer account this normally is not really an option.

Thx @HWK.
Please try samples from here:
https://www.copy.com/s/GoqLaZ6kKKEt/Test_Samples
- "ffmpeg_sample.ts" is original one, playable on PS3 or on Panasonic TV
- "remuxed-add_pic_timing_info_unticked.ts" - remux done with v2.3x or v2.4.x to find out what is the problem - this one works!
- "remuxed-add_pic_timing_info+insertSPS-PPS.ts" - this one doesn't work ==> culprit is definitely SEI
- "ffmpeg_sample_fixedORnot_2.5.x.ts" - sample remuxed with newer tsMuxeR version and SEI+SPS enabled
If you want, please try "ffmpeg_sample.ts" that works for you and then remux it with any tsMuxeR version (or use precreated samples v2.5.7 and v2.5.9 + "remuxed-add_pic_timing_info+insertSPS-PPS.ts").
Older versions created incompatible files with PanasonicTV and buggy files with PS3. Buggy means file is playable but timestamp+picture is skipping forward and backward rapidly.
I am not at home so can't test it right now so SubJunk tested it with results that newer versions are more playable but still not smooth (It plays as if it is adding backwards frames every few frames).
Thanks for feedback!
EDIT: When SEI is unticked, file is playable without problems with any tsMuxeR version (I suppose with any :))

It has nothing to do with trusted certificate/signing.
This message is for any file downloaded from outside of your computer. It happens also for files downloaded from MS site and correctly signed.
It is only for informing user that file is downloaded-from outside his computer so it asks if it is trusted and can be started.

Hi Roman,

I think there is some regression bug in version 2.6.4(b).

I'm trying to multiplex combined AVC+MVC stream and I'm getting error: "SPS picture order 3 not supported." (and nothing is muxed)

However, the same combined AVC+MVC stream is multiplexed without obstacles in version 2.4.1(b) which I used so far.

Could you please check it?

EDIT: MKVmerge GUI reports the the following: "This AVC/h.264 track's timing information indicates that it uses a variable frame rate. I ran into this when testing video file imports in BD-RB with the new TSMUXER version. v1.10.6 (which is what BD-RB normally uses) will mux it and v2.6.4 will not. It looks like the mux completes -- but then TSMUXER crashes and the output file doesn't work.

Yes, I can confirm that as well. Media info report says variable framerate for all the samples. Open in total code and it recognize stream not to be valid, it opens it but needs encoding to make it compatible. (GOP and dimension are two big ones which seems messed up) I will do more testing to be sure and see what I can come with.
