At last i was able to join my 2 3dm2ts files with adding new audio and subtitles without any glitches with tsmuxer 2.2.3(b). Thanks a lot and i will continously give u feedback if any deficiency occurs in later builds.

Technically mkv required a little bit more processing (code writing) for some formats (PCM/PG e.t.c) because mkv is very compressed container. In any way I just finished this task. It will be included to the next release.
Thanks physic, awesome news! I look forward to testing the next release. When do you get time to sleep? ;)

Thank you for documentation from old version. I lost this file. I am going to update it and put to tsMuxeR output if run tsMuxeR without parameters.
BlackWalker
then i add the "single SRT file" and the program say that i already have this file...!!![/b]
I got this report but I could not reproduce this error yet.

I am going to release next version at Sunday as usual. Approximate list of improvements:
- fixed PG from MKV and add support for mkv zlib compressed tracks.
- Add support for 3D MP4 and MOV files (combined AVC+MVC tracks). It is important for new 3D AVCHD cameras.
- More options for the subtitle renderer.
- Several minor bug fixes

hello physic, it is not difficult to reproduce:

- Open any file "m2ts" with tsMuxeR
- Extract (demux) only one element of subtitles (example: name it "file1.sup or srt")
- Remove the subtitles file from the list (tracks)
- Try to add now the extracted file ("file1.sup or srt") using the "add" button in the Input Files, or simply with drag & drop

and you 'll get it!!
I'd like to see this fixed. because if you want to change something in the subtitles you cant do it!!

thanks again for your great program! :)

Regarding "More options for the subtitle renderer" it is going to be:
- line spacing control
- fade in/ fade out effect

Physic, thanks for update this nice tool. Especially for the new OSX version ;o). Question, you have planed a authoring part? For main and popup menu? Eg. with photoshop created menus. That would be a great feature if it was possible ;o)

But when it gets remuxed into a BD structure it doesn't use a secondary audio PID. Do you have any plans to change that?

Hello! My roadmap is:
1. Add correct support for subpath (for DTS-express tracks and Pip possible)
2. Several minor tasks

Does this answer your question, since I asked him after initial support.

No, you didn't miss anything at all. I retrieved this from private messaging and post it here for you or anyone else who might need it. I also have copy in Free H.264 MVC 3D Encoder thread with additional line about adding support full processing of disc.

I thought tsmuxer 2.2.3b fixes Disney 3D seamless branching issues? If it doesnt join the mult-branching .m2ts files correctly, then that maybe why when I tried to remux Cars 2 3D iso with tsmuxer 2.2.3b that it froze at the 1 hour mark in the movie because tsmuxer doesnt yet do seamless branching yet? Ive heard reports over at the networkdmediatank forum that Finding Nemo 3D remuxed correctly and plays correctly in a Popcorn Hour A-400. But, Ive yet to try to remux my Finding Nemo 3D iso and try it myself.

Good question.
From here (http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1209880&postcount=1)and from earlier discussions I somehow recall that it should always be selected as it doesn't do any harm and improves playback device compatibility.

insertSEI - Parameter is used only for H.264 video. When activated, it does the following: if the original video does not contain SEI picture timing and SEI buffering period, then the info is added to the stream. This option is recommended for better compatibility with the Sony Playstation 3.

contSPS - Parameter is used only for H.264 video. When enabled, and the original video doesn't contain cyclic repetitive elements SPS/PPS (when imported from MKV it can be recorded only one time at the beginning of the file), the SPS/PPS will be added to the stream before each key frame. We recommend that you always enable this option.
Perhaps an Expert could chime in....

a small sugestion: could you please increase the file name length tsmuxer accepts?
in a case like this:
the best potatoe salad_track_01_eng.ac3
the best potatoe salad_track_02_jpn.ac3

I need to rename the second track to be able to load it into tsmuxer. It is ofcourse no big deal to do it, but still an addition step...
Thanks

Physic:
Have you yourself tried remuxing Cars 2 3D or UP 3D?
I'm getting frozen video at about 75% through the movie. I remuxed my UK UP 3D iso with tsmuxer 2.2.3b and yet again at the 1:14:23 mark, lost audio and then the image froze, I had to stop it, then A400 wouldn't play any other movie, until I rebooted A400/power cycled. Funny thing is at the 1:14:22 mark is where the multi-branching occurs on the un-remuxed UP 3D.iso.
Is Tsmuxer doing something to freeze upon some of the multi-branching joining of files? I will now test the new beta firmware on my A-400...
I can play past that mark on my Mac Blu-ray player software..so something picky about the A400?
No change with Nov 22nd A400 beta firmware. It still has the same freeze spot in my UP 3D.iso remuxed.

Update:

Possible Mac OS X bugs:

Using codeweavers Crossover on Mac OS X 10.8.5, I am running tsmuxer 2.0.6b,
I can use Mac OS X to mount UP 3D ISO, and tell tsmuxer to input 0800.mpls and tsmuxer actually shows the languages for the audio tracks and PGS tracks, of which the tsmuxer 2.2.3b Mac OS X build doesnt show the language name for each audio and PGS track. I would have to click on them and select english. So, Im remuxing again UP 3D iso with an older version ofmtsmuxer 2.0.6 under wine to see if it will freeze somewhere in the movie or not. As I have tested the non-remuxed version of my UP 3D iso and it had no issues.

Maybe this weirdness happens because Max OS X sorta hides Bluray BDMV folder as a pkg file and you have to right click and show package contents to even see the bluray filestructor. In Crossover, the mounted bluray ISO, I could directly see the filestructor.

Still, with using tsmuxer 2.0.6b under wine, UP 3D iso still froze at 1:14:23 mark.

If only tsmuxer would parse and be able to read in just the .iso file would be great.

So, are these Mac OS X tsmuxer build bugs below:
When I First mount my Cars 2 3D ISO, and go into the playlist folder and highlight and drag and drop the 00800.mpls, it looks as if its draging all of them into tsmuxergui and then tsmuxergui pops up with a red "!" stop sign and I click OK.
Error Popup: Can't detect stream type. Filename: "/Volumes/Cars2/BDMV/PLAYLIST/00800.mpls"

Then on the second try, I drag and drop in 00800.mpls into tsmuxer input files and it works correctly reading the main english movie of 00800.mpls of Cars 2 3D.

I have noticed after tsmuxergui had remuxed Cars 2 3D.iso, I have mounted it and can see a 6gb extra 00001.m2ts file and that its not playable. The 00000.ssif and in the ssif folder is a 00000.m2ts. I wonder what it is? Seeing as I remuxed out the main 3D movie with no menues.

Thanks Physic...Roman. :-D

From your post it appears you have confusion about ssif file and 00001.m2ts file. Allow me to clear what these files are and how they work.

Let’s start with 00001.m2ts file which is stereoscopic or dependent view. This file cannot be decoded on its own because it lacks I frame which in layman terms can be described as a photo frame. Every video which can be viewed without any additional file or reference must have at least one I Frame. In order for 3D to work your player will read 00000.m2ts + 00001.m2ts together to generate 3D view. At this stage SSIF file come in to play which stands for Stereoscopic Interleaved File or SSIF for short, it sole job is to link files on virtual level, that is why when you rip to hard disk file size is doubled. What really is happening at this stage is player is reading part of data from 00000.m2ts and part of it from 00001.m2ts and for I frame it uses 00000.m2ts file and use this info to construct full frame needed for right eye or dependent view.

Hint: if you ever look at file size of SSIF file, it would be size of 00000.m2ts and 00001.m2ts in this case. For example if 00000.m2ts is 10GB and 00001.m2ts is 5GB file size of 00000.ssif would be 15GB because there are interleaved together.

All 3D Blu-ray confirming to specs are manufactured using this method, off course file size and name gone be different but all of them are done is same way.

@physic:
Thanks for your great work!
Tested your latest v2.0.8 with 2D ffmpeg sample and found some problems with tsMuxeR:

ffmpeg_sample.ts file is playable on PC and PS3(HW)
when remuxed with "Add picture timing info" ticked, PC plays it ok but not PS3 + Panasonic TV - time and picture is jumping backward and forward like crazy on PS3 and totally not playable on PanTV.
unticking it fixes problems on PS3/TV. Why?
when "ffmpeg sample.ts" is imported with mpg extension, audio track is not recognized
when "ffmpeg sample.ts" is imported with mpeg extension, stream type can't be detected so nothing is imported

Original sample+remuxed files uploaded here: https://copy.com/GoqLaZ6kKKEt

Thanks for suggestion but original file works on PS3 and Panasonic TV but not when remuxed with tsMuxeR and enabled "add picture timing info". If remuxed with unticking this option, remuxed file is compatible so file itself is compatible but tsMuxeR brokes it when it tries to add "picture timing info" - seems bug there because also Roman mentioned in PM it will be fixed in next version but still doesn't work:cool:

I also did another test, I mounted Wreck It Ralph 3D ISO Remuxed from DVDFab 9.1.6 Mac, and made a new folder called, bdmv to copy all the contents of my DVDFab main movie rip of Wreck it Ralph 3d.iso and am now using latest tsMuxer to read the mpls file, and it reads it with the field "lang" in the GUI with the tracks languages. So, its easier now to decipher what I want to keep before I remux. Sadly, it took 5 hours to copy out the BDMV.pkg into a new folder named: bdmv, and Im now remuxing again with tsMuxer. Even though I just read Roman has a fix for the Cars2 freeze issue I get. Many Thanks!!!

When I was at home during the weekend I had no much time to test more than only that new tsMuxeR version still generates HW incomaptible files. SubJunk, can you test new version with disabled "add picture timing info" if it is the culprit on your side?
Because I spotted same behaviors as SubJunk.
One of them is that PS3 plays file with jumping frames forward and backward randomly (including timestamp). Same file is totally unplayable on Panasonic TV.
And second problem is that PS3 some files play without glitch but same file is unplayable on PanTV.
So maybe same root cause? Weird that it is not reproduceable with all of my mkv files but the behavior changes (some works, some not, some with timeskipping)...
