Notebook under Windows 10
Processor i7 6700HQ with Intel HD 530 : driver 20.19.15.4444 from 22/04/2016.
3D MVC encoding works well except when 3D Blu-Ray unprotected .iso file is mounted from an external disk : in this latter case, BDToAVCH crashes at the beginning of step 2, just before 3D MVC encoding.

2nd or 3rd time now I've had to uninstall and reinstall the graphics driver to get 3d to encode without frame sync errors. I had a movie that I encoded months ago with the program give continuous frame errors until tonight when it finally encoded correctly again using the same source from months ago. I find it hard to believe no one else has had this issue?

Has anyone been able to 3d encode Transformers Age of Extinction or Captain America Civil War? I've tried for 2 weeks now and no matter what the encodes have errors. I've verified the original full disc copy doesn't have errors. Captain america civil war I got to encode without errors on Software encode but when watching it with my son, it didn't seem quite right. Was kind of giving me a headache. Transformers age of extinction I cannot get to encode no matter what I do without severe frame deformities around 1: 34 minutes or so. I know its not an issue with my system as between this time I've encoded 2 other 3d movies in hardware without issue.

Hi Pistacho, could AC3 2.0 options be added for video remuxing?
FulciLives

I love this program but as far as I can tell, there is no way to BURN IN subtitles. I would love if you could add this feature. BURN IN subtitles is my preferred method when dealing with a mixed language film (in other words a film that is mostly English but which has some sequence or sequences that are foreign and has forced subs for these parts).
From the reading it seems the program can BURN IN subtitles when working with 3D video but I only work with standard 2D (non-3D) video.
Thanks for a great program that works so well in terms of simplicity as well as quality output!

Hi Pistacho, could AC3 2.0 options be added for video remuxing?
What do you mean? Downmix source AC3 5.1 audio to AC3 2.0?
Why is necessary?
Normally all players can downmix audio to stereo if only two speakers are present (or headphones) and savings in bitrate are not much significant.

BURN IN subtitles is not necessary. MKV and AVCHD containers support forced subtitles (flagged forced) as in original Blu-Ray.
Burn in subtitles is only the last resort when player not support other options...
Currently ALL decent MKV and AVCHD players supports forced subs.

@pistacho
I realize this but for forced subs that only pop up some-of-the-time I still like the concept of burnt in subs which simply cannot be missed or accidentally turned off etc. but yeah I know, I get what you are saying.
Thanks for the response.

Some of my BD9 encodes are a bit too large for my dvd9 media! Did I miss something in the readme file. I have a few that are perfect. I can use overburn on one of my machines and they burn fine, but I cannot play them in my software or hardware players.

These are the ones I'm converting from BD50 3D to BD9 mvc 3d

If the conversion has DTS-HD or True-HD (variable bitrate audio) or has enough amount of subtitles remember to use "scan bitrates" button and wait to finish 100% so that the program can calculate the correct bitrate.

So I mentioned this maybe a year and a half ago, I'm still having the same issue. Sometimes this program works great, other time the video is out of sync as reported by makemkv when I turn it into mkv.
I just did the latest thor movie. completed and then makemkv said their were issues with time sync on the 3d. used dvd fab and no issues reported in makemkv. If I reinstall the video driver that sometimes helps but other times it just isn't doing that movie no matter what. I find most of the times its issues with movies that have subtitles although this movie didn't have subtitles that I needed and still same issue.

Bug: Don't remux subtitles in .srt form from mkv with h264 video to mkv with h265 video.
In temp folder subtitle is ok, but on final file is missing.
Original file is mkv with h264 video 1080p and ac3 audio.
For full conversion I've used mkv with h265, untouched audio, flagged force subtitle and cfr 20 with 720p resize.
Please, fix
Thanks

Hi,
I found that bug: only occurs if video is resized to 720p and source subtitle is SRT (UTF-8). Not occurs never if source is a Blu-Ray or is MKV and not is resized.
For now, this is a fixed version:

Ok thanks a lot for this fix !.
It works ok now
I really appreciate that the error has been solved.
I find it very easy for quick jobs. I have only a small request.
I Suggest to you some improvements:
aac encoding for mkv output
x265 color depth (8,10 and 12 Bit)
UHD bluray o mkv hevc 10 bit, hdr etc as input
hdr to sdr conversion
use nvenc (rigaya) encoder for uhd conversion
more resolution after crop:

another bug with last update (I think)
do not endode until the end of file.
import mkv or bluray, then resize to 720p with mkv output and h265 codec then queue with or without subtitles.
start to encode but fail.
the queue colour is green but final mux is incomplete.
please, fix and add ac3 192 for stereo output. some disk, like anime, use uncompressed audui

I cannot reproduce this bug. Probably is because you have in temp folder files with same name of previous incomplete tests/jobs. Delete manually all contents of temp folder and try again.
Also for 192 Kbps bitrate, stereo tracks can be encoded at 384 or 448 Kbps AC3 (even stereo Mp3 good quality has 320 Kbps).
Regarding the support for UHD BD and other new major functions, I don't have it planned for now.

Does BDtoAVCHD have plans to support multi-audio sources? Like, let's say I have an .mkv file that have multi-audio tracks and in order to give more bitrate to the video (reencoding it obviously), I may want to reencode these audio tracks to AC3 640kbps or less and keep all these audio tracks in the final project... :thanks:
