RealAnime is pretty stable if you don't use non-numeric values :o
Sorry, nothing to report here :confused:

i'm encoding now...still no problem for the second file....very weird...
the error was about memory.... :(
btw i found how to pause/resume the encoding...hope it will work ;)

I'm gonna add VP6 (VFW codec only) to the NSIS installer. I got on2 approval. About XviD, is it "legal" to use the DLL?
damrod
10th September 2004, 18:31
i wonder...it's opensource/gpl so you can distribute source
but the dll is a compiled binary so you msut ask the author of the binary i think...if not legally, you'll be polite :)
Sirber
10th September 2004, 18:47
XviD source is GNU, but compiled it's not legal since no one paid for the licenses.

Of course you can buy a license, but I must warn you. The price is per distributed encoder, no flat-rate, and if you'll acquire a license, it only covers the versions which you distribute. :D

If I include xvidcore.dll and xvifvfw.dll in RealANime, I'm then illegal?

Continuation about AFS + RV10 frontend ...
I tried on some frontends this time.
All setting is modeled as long as it could do. (ex. Ellysian turns off, VBR 2-pass, on Windows2000 Professional SP3 ...)
Since there may also be a cause of my poor environment, I want you to stop this result by reference. :devil:
If it collects...
RealAnime2.20CR2+:
RMVB reproduced by rapid traverse was done as a result.
RealAnime2.10;
RMVB reproduced by rapid traverse was done as a result.
RealAnime1.91:
RMVB is reproduced satisfactory.
(However, the unusual end was carried out at the last of processing. It became impossible and to use again.)
RealBatch1.50b:
RMVB is reproduced satisfactory.
RealBatch1.42:
RMVB is reproduced satisfactory.
Easy Real Media Producer 1.8:
RMVB is reproduced satisfactory.
Batch Real Producer 1.5:
It does not progress from 1% of processings.
AutoRV9 1.3:
It cannot choose a lossless middle AVI file as an input.
It seems that something has changed on the Reloaded version at RealAnime if it guesses from a result. :(
In the present condition, in order to obtain smooth RMVB file from hybrid material Anime, it good to use RealBatch or ERMP, I think.
The end of report.
Thanks. ;)

Can you post a jobfile produced by RealAnime 2.20+ and one produced by one GUI that works?
:logfile: :thanks:
lunaticmoon
10th September 2004, 19:52
I am sorry as interrupted in the important place.
XviD has two restraints, GPL and MPEG-LA.
In the country which is incidentally under the influence of MPEG-LA, it is related with XviD ...
Although contents are MPEG-4, since the patent license is not connected, distribution of Japan of a binary is prohibition. However, acquisition and individual use can be performed.
Therefore, in plan of the present Sirber, I think that it will become impossible to distribute RealAnime as "legal" in the country under the influence of MPEG-LA.
Sirber

Since 2.20RC2+ was erased in order to put in 1.91, it is under re-encoding now... :(

@Sirber
A log is not found although encoding finished. Can't it take, unless it encodes in command line mode ? Although it may be FAQ, please teach me the acquisition method of a log.
An output result is raised instead. It is with a password. Please ask by IM etc. about a password.

About "Double speed in clip with half black screen" problem.
@Sirber
Inputed AVI file have 59.94fps.
It is good to observe the portion changed with the Reloaded version as compared with 1.91, I think.
It is because the problem has not occurred in 1.91.
A certain degrade from 1.91 can be considered.
Please do your best... if there is the time.:)
Sirber
14th September 2004, 01:30
Nothing much has changed since 1.91 about file handling. The main chamge is the new producer, new rate control, rv10, new audio codecs. It would be best if you could provide me your source so I can test it myself.
About my host, here was the problem:
Me --> ADSL --> ISP's proxy --> Internet
My IP updater was getting the proxy IP :angry:
lunaticmoon
14th September 2004, 02:40
Hmm...
If it is it, I will stand a FTP server by emergency.
And account of Sirber will be published by emergency.
you <-- ADSL <-- ISP's proxy <-- The Internet <-- FTTH <-- me
However, it does not know how many effective speed come out in the condition of a course, and The HuffYUV AVI source is GigaByte order.
Moreover, setting up FTP tonight here may take time for a while.
Shall a fine thing let's contacts by IM ?
Sirber
14th September 2004, 02:51
You can contact me by IM. How fast can you upload?
lunaticmoon
14th September 2004, 07:26
On domestic FTTH peer, the upload from me is 2000 KByte/sec about.
However, when it tied with the man of max logical speed 256Kbps ADSL of Brazil, only 60 KByte/sec came out about.
That is, it does not become clear unless it does. :D
Sirber
14th September 2004, 12:05
I thoeicly have a 3mbps ADSL, but I rarely do more then 1mbps. I mailed my ISP about that...

About "Double speed in clip with half black screen" problem.
@Sirber,damrod
Is this problem related to the version of Producer?
I am using the default of each frontend.
Is Default Producer the same in RealAnime220RC2+ and RealBatch150b?
Sirber
15th September 2004, 01:27
I do not think so. I have the lastest milestone. I think RealBatch is a little older. Gonan test once I get your file. Upload faster!!!

Sirber

Could you try your source with The G and see if it has problems too? I conclude that the error is producer related. It seems to cut frames badly and add blank ones at the end :confused:

I don't like Curve Compression. :(

I was investigating the thing of "Extermination RV Organization" in Japanease video community (side of gray zone).

You do what you want to :)
RC3 will be out soon:
New:
* Bitrate calculator
* OGM --> MKV
* MKV Stream Selector
Fixed:
* Max framerate set to 60 FPS
Todo:
* Add RealVideo G2 and RealAudio 8 (ATRAC3)
* Add VP6 codec to installer
* Add XviD 1.0.2 codec to installer
* Add more defaults for the resizers
* Add DC Alt. Curve
Known bugs:
* Input at 60FPS may get corrupted
* Leaking memory using AVISynth
* Bitrate calculator may integer overflow :D

You've made great progress with this project. One thing I always wondered was whether you were doing this project for educational reasons, general amusement (which could be an indicator of masochistic tendencies), or both?
damrod
18th September 2004, 08:38
i think he's masochist............
btw sirber you ogm->mkv....does it means you convert ogm to mkv directly with mkbmerge but what happens with multiple audio tracks or subtitles?
Sirber
18th September 2004, 15:04
@DarkNite
I started RealAnime first for my personnal uses, then for the public. With more than 2000 download per month, I can say RealAnime is popular :D
@Damrod
OGM converter keeps everything. Then you use MKV sream selector to keep 1 audio stream. Usualy there are only 1 sub track so there are no options to choose one. Then you use DirectVobSub (autoload) to play the sub in the video stream while encoding. Those tools are usualy to manage:
OGM (video, audio english, audio japanese, sub english)
Producer cannot treat that correctly.

About "Double speed in clip with half black screen" problem.
The evasion measure was found in general in my near problem.
However, I have a question still about whether it is only the problem which are 60fps truly.
It is because the source which I offered is Fake VFR containing NULL frames (60fps accuracy).
It is not certain what becomes supposing it inputs true 60fps source.
Don't anyone have source of true 60fps?
A next thing will be O.K. if Mr.Karl is left ? Do we have the necessity for a supplementary examination? :confused:
