SetStream AAAASSSS,0
Audio:
8001 - 801F - Will change audio stream to 1-31
0000 - will not change current audio
Subtitles:
C001 - C007 - Will force/show subtitle stream 1 to 7
8001 - 8007 - Will hide subtitle stream 1 to 7
0000 - will not change subtitle stream
So for Subtitle 2 with audio 3 to show:
SetStream 8003C002,0
For Audio change only: 80010000
Fos Subtitles change only: 0000C001
To force audio track 1 and hide subtitles: 80018001 - if you previously enabled subtitle track 1
When entering these values make sure you're using IMMEDIATE values format for SetStream (program code 51C00001).
etc...
This is correct for hdmv menus but how to proceed for J-BD, as these commands are not valid.

You can mix java with HDMV but it's not recommended.
You have to use the corresponding java commands instead of the HDMV ones.

yes, could you indicate what those commands are so that i can identify them and study whether they are generic to BD-J.

Is it possible to create more than one command to associate an audio with a forced subtitle and that through the context menu (not via menu buttons) of the player they can be exchanged between them? I'm talking about the complete structure of a bluray with menu.
For example, if I have a movie with 3 languages:
1-France
2-English
3-Germany
And 5 subtitles (3 full and 2 forced):
1-English (full)
2-Germany (full)
3-France (full)
4-English (forced)
5-Germany (forced)
The parameters of the command to be entered through BDEdit would be:
1st position: 8002C004
2nd position: 8003C005
On the Top Menu through the play button of the player, it starts the movie with the german audio by default and with the forced subtitle nš5 activated. So far it is perfect, but when i switch to the english language via the context menu, it is not associated with the forced subtitle nš4 but still has the forced german subtitle. Someone knows how to set this, i have tried many commands and none have been satisfactory.

Operand2 of the SetStream sets the IG number and the angle number so you don't put anything there. Also check your audio and PG stream numbers in the PlayList section.

I thought that these hexadecimal values were equivalent to the positioning of each stream starting with number one. In the playlist the first audio is identified with the value 4352 (0x1100), the second with 4353 (0x1101). The first subtitle its indicator is 4608 (0x1200), the 2nd--> 4609 (0x1201) and so on.
Forced subtitles are controlled by the player's settings.
If i understand you correctly, what you are saying is that simply by having the subtitle X forced (with the forced flag) is already activated automatically in the player when from the contextual button the audio X is selected, the player should automatically change to the subtitle of the same language with the forced flag. If this is the case, it does not work in this case with PowerDVD.

I see that some blu-ray if you add the typical setstream parameter works as it should but going deeper, in which i have investigated, it turns out that by forcing the x stream when you press the menu play, then as a consequence the top menu buttons associated with the predefined audios do not work as they should. This parameter cannot be implemented from bdedit if the correct functioning of the top menu has not been checked.

In the hdmv blurays not always that commands works (code), according to the structure that contains and mainly although it works you shold check well your main menu, audio buttons, since they will not work correctly if you have forced an audio/subtitle so that it starts with the play. All this is much more complex than inserting a command with bdedit if you want everything to work properly.

It's the first time I hear that a player disobeys the commands :)
I think outgoing wanted to say that it's not enough to set the subtitles in one place, as the subsequent navigation may alter these (audio, angles etc.) somewhere else in the pathflow.
I made a guide on how to put series on BD (original menu or own menu - although the latter can be created with MultiAVCHD), yet at 2MB it's way above the handling possibilities of the forum. I also lingered for a guide, until I decided to read the documentation I have and try to understand "who's who" in BDEdit (which copies some data structures, literally). The same procedure I used for IFOedit (a similar thing) until the more user-friendly PGCedit arrived. Unfortunately most of the documentation is NDA, this may explain some but not all.

Hello, I need help, I am adding a subtitle track to a Japanese bluray, everything is fine at the time of playing the modified MPLS, the problem is when I want to select the subtitle track, it comes out blocked "cannot be chosen"
I tried adding "NOP" to default the subtitle track "49153" but it didn't work
PS: The bluray only has 2 audio tracks and does not have any subtitles.
Sorry for my english

Can BDedit tell my simple, custom made bluray (authored in Adobe Encore) to stop resetting the audio track to default audio every time the Resume menu button is chosen in the main menu?
I've seen SetStream commands that set what audio or subtitle plays, but haven't seen instructions for how to get it to make no change such that whatever audio track was playing before the user hit the Menu button...should be the audio that resumes when the user hits the Resume menu button to return to the movie.
FYI, my menu has only 'Play' and 'Resume' buttons. There is only one title, and it has two audio streams (English and Russian).
Further (maybe unnecessary) info:
Doing some googling, I found this reply to a question for Encore CS5. It seems to suggest a general bugginess with Encore audio track selection.
The problem is that the generated Blu-ray instructions for selecting the subtitle (and audio) tracks is just plain wrong. The way it was supposed to work is that a GPR (general purpose register) was supposed to retain the selected value, but among other things the code always immediately clears the register after saving the correct value.

Be careful with deactivating a subtitle, if it has a button in the menu, then it is likely that it will also be deactivated in the menu and therefore the button will not work properly. If it is a forced subtitle then there will be no problem.

Is there an HDMV command for activating/deactivating another button? I have two buttons for Subtitles and No subtitles. I would like to program the one button to deactivate the other. I know buttons can auto-activate on selection (and I'd use SetButtonPage), but that would make manual activation not that nice. And do active button only show their active effect momentarily when you press them and not after? For example if activated subtitles is a text from black to white, can I keep it white until I disable subtitles? Or is a dummy alternative button needed.

Hi guys
Iīm trying a project right now, a bluray where iīm adding the 4k video track where the 1080p was, and it has worked.
Have a small issue though, that i just canīt get it to work.
This disc has 3 audio tracks and 1 subtitle track, menu is like this:
Spanish
Spanish with spanish subtitles (according to original bluray this means complete subtitles, not forced (there arenīt), it doesnīt make sense to me but, hey, it is what it is)
English with spanish subtititles
So the thing, i have respected the original disc structure when it comes to audio and subtitles, but when i select the fist track, spanish (without subtitles) my player brings up spanish subtitles.
It does not happen with the original disc, though, and it does not happen with some other discs, so itīs not a question of the player iīm using.
Iīm not an expert on bdedit, i can go this far, to make this kind project work 99%, so i decide to compare both the original and the custom project, and i can see everything looks exactly the same (except the obvious and needed modifications).
So my question is, is there any way to fix it?, there has to be, since the original disc has the expected behaviour the main menu suggests.
This is how the commands look for the OID/file where the movie is:
0000 [50400001,00000005 ,00000004 ] Move GPR5, 4

Hi, I'm curious if BDEdit is capable of replacing a 1080p stream with a 4K HDR10 stream (same movie and length, just the 4K HDR version), with menu functionality, chapters, and special features still intact? I'm currently working on a project using BDRebuilder (BDRB) in order to create a UHD BD-25 with 4K/HDR video, w/ DD+ audio.
BDRB, at this point in time, recodes the DD+ audio to DD. So, the plan is to replace the DD audio with the original DD+ audio by using tsMuxer to remux into a BD folder. But, tsMuxer "aborts" by not creating the playlist file. All other BDMV content is created.
I was given a pointer to take the BDRB playlist file and copy it to the tsMuxer created folder. I was then to edit the playlist file and change the audio tag from DD to DD+. I'm using BDEdit 0.49 and can see nothing regarding audio. I didn't see anything in the clipinfo file either.
Just where is the info regarding audio types located?
Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, but that was zero help. If I right-click on the line that says "PlayItem" in the STN section, nothing happens.
On the left side, directly under the "PlayList" label, if I right-click on "000" (in this case the only listing), I get the "Edit/Read Only" popup. Now I can change the content of any of the fields on that line. I have no idea which one has to do with audio and if any one of them does, what the content should be.
AIUI, there is no real documentation for the program, especially what all of the fields are and what the content can be. It would probably need to be 500+ pages.
