@Multitask
Replace MediaInfo.dll with what? where is the other file to replace it of the same name?
also, how do I save the pathways to the programs? Everytime I restart they disappear.
and now the thing doesn't work at all I hit "Get stream info" a few seconds later I get this
[2/19/2010 5:58:05 PM] Getting playlist info...
[2/19/2010 5:58:05 PM]
[2/19/2010 5:58:05 PM] Command: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\eac3to.exe"H:\THE DARK KNIGHT"
[2/19/2010 5:58:05 PM]
[2/19/2010 5:58:05 PM] Done.

Thank you for the fast replys. I have a lot of time on my hands tonight to get this working. I did what you said, created a new folder and extracted the files from the .zip. ONE PROBLEM SOLVED the settings did save. Unfortunately, I still get this error when I hit "Stream Infos"
[2/19/2010 6:32:30 PM] Getting playlist info...

Is there anything I need to do with AVIsynth? Do I still need to replace that media.dll file with something? and also Does it matter if any of the folders are not on the boot drive, are externals ok?
thanks again ;)

thanks for this...I did try interlaced source and framerate is picked up fine!!!
I noticed that in the General Settings page is an option to delete source files after mux...should this not be Working Files instead? AA user may not want bluray folders deleted.

download -> ffmpegsource (bit.ly/dcrlOs)
ffmsindex.exe -> set file path in BluRip
ffms2.dll -> copy to your AviSynth plugins folder

Yes I delete the working files (the demuxed streams). I'll change this label in next release.

Are people interested in FLAC support for eac3to? I just modified the code to allow the conversion to flac using the registered arcsoft decoders like ripbot.
If so I can clean it up and send a patch to hawk.

I gotta say, this is a really neat piece of software. However, there are a few things that I feel would make it even better:
- freely resizeable window
- selecting streams with a checkbox
- ability to determine the output file size - a pulldown menu with the selection of 1/2 DVD5|DVD5|DVD9|Unrestricted Size would be sufficient
Especially that last one would be nice to have, seeing how 24 hours of encoding left me with a file too big to fit on a DVD. But nonetheless, good work! :)

I will add a checkbox to encode to FLAC when possible, that way when people don't have the Arcsoft DTS decoder, atleast TrueHD will be encoded.
I will also write something to test to see if the Arcsoft decoder is installed.
In regard to the other .ogg and acc, hawk what do you think? SHould I try to add that? If so, I would probably modify that whole audio section to better handle this.

MediaInfo uses the splitter to access the videostream. Try to reinstall haali and avisynth - maybe this helps. Also make sure that visual c++ 2008 runtime is installed.

I am using XP Pro XP3 all up-to-date
Using latest Haalit
Using ffshow...the one recommended for DVD Rebuilder
Happens after demux
I did get a VC-1 to work later though.
Not sure why such an error would occur...All you are doing is demuxing and remuxing streams to mkv. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that mediainfo is somehow involved and some VC-1 streams may be "problematic." I do not get these errors using Clown_BD and then mkvmergeGUI to mux. Strange. Maybe you should add an option for the user to manually enter the framerate...or you have an option to ALWAYS pass 24000/1.001, as 99% of Blu Rays are this anyway. Then user can override for some wacky interlaced stuff. This may be a good idea, just in case.

[2/20/2010 8:56:52 PM] Command: C:\Program Files\BluRip\mkvmerge.exe--title "test" -o "M:\MKV Final\test.mkv" --chapters "C:\temp\_001_chapter.txt" "C:\temp\_002_video.mkv" --language 0:en --default-track 0 "C:\temp\_003_audio_ac3_English.ac3"
you can also make chapters and audio specified as a language as well...can you set this to default as english or grab from user, or grab from what user has chosen?

I use mediainfo to get the framerate to pass to bdsup2sub. I think it's a good idea to add a "choose framerate dialog" if mediainfo fails for some reason.

Regarding the "Addictive Tips Review" - And yet once again, you fail to make it clear that most who would want to use this GUI/program with their purchased, commercial BluRay discs would first have to resort to a commercial (or soon to be commercial) program such as DVDFab, MakeMKV, or AnyDVDHD to eliminate protection...

This GUI uses some code from MeGUI (AvisynthWrapper.cs) but the original header from this file which contains the license has been removed & the GPL license file itself doesn't exist in the tree sources...

I can add the license if needed (if we can't wait for hawk).
In regard to the source file header being removed, which file? I took a very quick the source avsynth wrapper stuff in blurip's google code and none of headers in the MeGUI repository look any different.
[edit]
And btw, I am pretty sure this is an oversight. I know people don't like stolen code and everything, but a an email to the google code could have gotten this corrected pretty easily, no need to say stuff like "don't use it".

I don't care about that.I'm not involved in the MeGUI development anymore...It's just that you have to obey to the GPL. That's all.
