@MuLTiTaSK

Hi!

Looks intriguing but, is name misleading?

It doesn't actually "rip" (remove copy protection and then copy) BluRay discs, does it?

setarip_old
23rd January 2010, 04:30
Tried it out (with an unprotected .M2TS file) - After apparently doing most of the required work, generated the following error:

[1/22/2010 7:24:06 PM] Starting to index...
[1/22/2010 7:24:06 PM]
[1/22/2010 7:24:06 PM] Command: \Tools\FFMS2\ffmsindex.exe"\Working\_002_video.mkv"
[1/22/2010 7:24:06 PM] Exception: The system cannot find the path specified

Undoubtedly, I've either done something wrong, or failed to do something?

Please advise.

it does'nt decrypt just plain ol' automated conversion;)

you must set the paths to the required tools first

Wow, great to another one in the pack.
Looking at your forum activity, I'm sure this one will mature and get updated very fast !:)

Now what have I omitted or done wrong?

copy ffms2.dll to your AviSynth plugins folder

setarip_old
23rd January 2010, 07:35
It's now in the encoding phase.

1) I don't believe I've ever before come across a program that requires the same file to be placed in two directories ("ffms2.dll")

2) Now that you've established that the program is intended to be used with already decrypted files, I see no purpose in listing "AnyDVD" under "Needed tools"

3) There have been postings indicating that BDSUP2SUB is rather inaccurate. Does/Can your program provide visual feedback and editing capability regarding the converted subtitles?

setarip_old
23rd January 2010, 07:39
Last question (for now ;>} What would I select if all I wanted to do was convert the subtitles and create an otherwise unaltered .MKV file from the .M2Ts file?

MuLTiTaSK
23rd January 2010, 08:12
@setarip_old

you only need ffms2.dll to be located in your AviSynth plugins folder
program coder listed AnyDVD HD as a required tool but it's not required you can ask him to take it off -> _hawk_ at german Doom9's Forum (bit.ly/4yXamh)
visual feedback and editing capability of converted subtitles plus bdmuxing to unaltered .MKV cant be done atm;)

If this is not your project, what is your involvement?

StaxRip doesn't rip either and I'm not sure RipBot264 does, use your imagination...

I can't seem to get this to work. It says, avs [error]: failed to load avisynth when it tries to encode the video.

Is this because I am trying to use the 64 bit x264? I def have avisynth installed.

MuLTiTaSK
25th January 2010, 01:09
@mackworth

Download ->avs4x264.exe (bit.ly/8D2vRi)
rename avs4x264.exe to x264.exe
rename the 64bit x264.exe your using to x264_64.exe
place them in the same folder
x264.exe->x264_64.exe
continue using x64 builds of x264;)

mackworth
25th January 2010, 03:24
That didn't seem to work any better. The error went away , but then it said :

[1/24/2010 8:02:09 PM] Starting to encode...

download package in first post of this thread
set paths to all required tools in settings tab
move ffms2.dll from FFMS2 folder to your AviSynth plugins folder
try conversion again

Hi,
I created a new GUI for eac3to, BDsup2sub, x264 & mkvmerge
You only have to select streams you want - rest runs automatically.
Please let me know, if you have ideas for new features.
Next on list is 720p support.

support for bdmuxing selecting streams skiping encoding muxing to .mkv

script import .avs

DGIndexNV support

AviSynth filter profiles

now that your hear i know the community can help you improve it;)

I hope so :)
In german forum I didn't get any reply yet...

AviSynth profiles should be no problem.

Does DGIndexNv support commandline usage?

What do you mean with avs script import? The avs is created from results of autocrop - if you have AVS profiles custom commands are added after crop/resize.

What do you mean with 'support for bdmuxing selecting streams skiping encoding muxing to .mkv'?

MuLTiTaSK

@_hawk_

DGDecNV (bit.ly/6aVfOY) can be called from commandline and it decodes and indexes BluRay video using the gpu

if i have already created a AviSynth script with indexed source cropped, resized, denoised, sharpen etc i would like to import it in BluRip .avs->encode->mux

bdmuxing means open movie with BluRip select streams then mux to .mkv skipping cropping and encoding

Atm you have to do Demux & Process subtitles (not using the start button)
Then edit the *_streamList.xml file:
change <encodedFile /> to <encodedFile>filenametoyourvideo</encodedFile>
Load the changed streamList file.
Now muxing should work

I can add an option to use untouched video in next release.

I'll add muxing without reencoding in next version.
I can add options to edit the streamlist. But if you only want to mux existing files it may be easier to use megui or something?

If I have a lot of free time I'll take a look at DGAVCDecNv - only have a ATI in my main PC.

That seemed to work.

Seems to work pretty well. I like how it doesn't mess with the audio stream like ripbot does. Although it would be nice to transcode the audio when needed.

I think I'll add some audio downmix options when I add 720p support.
But I don't want BluRip to become to complicated ;)
There are a lot of GUIs that support every single option...

Where is Avisynth after installing it? After installing all the tools necessary to run BluRip I get an error that states

I just did the same with my HTPC running Win 7. No change.
Hmmm...(BTW I´m "Deutsch" und ich fände es absolut top, wenn das Teil weiterentwickelt wird, auch wenn noch nicht viele Reaktionen im Forum da sind). Ok so what are you unpacking that stuff with?
I mean the whole package you can download from mediafire?

Perhaps, you would be good enough to provide it as a simple .ZIP (Not self-extracting 7zip)?

Thank you

I provide only .zip with just the pure exe.

On the long run it's probably better to offer a all including 7-zip package or a all including setup with comparable compression. Most GUIs have good experience doing this, other solutions can cause various problems. IIRC the StaxRip package with 7-Zip is 25 MB and 37 MB with Zip, big difference! It's time to say goodbye to Zip.

Maybe I'll provide a .msi and a .rar the next days.

In the meantime I would be interested, if anyone already used the tool to successfully create a mkv...

Minor bug. When I first started it at set my tools, for some reason the encoding profiles drop dropdown and encoding profiles were blank. When I quit and started again, they showed up.

Seems like a similar issue, where I set a language (en) and when I started it up the next time it wasn't working for whatever reason. I then added (eng) and it still didn't work. I then removed both and autoselect still wasn't taking audio.

I had to restart the software to get autoselect to work.

Also, anyway we can get the encoding status in the GUI? Like % done, fps, etc? and when it does the autocrop, it pops up on the screen during the test, anyway to hide that?
