Easy RealMedia ProducerV1.94

I am having some trouble with Easy RealMedia Editor 1.73. I am trying to cut a portion from an rmvb file created with ERMP 1.92. When I play the cutout file using WMP 10 (using Real Alternative), it works fine until the second last frame. After it plays the second last frame, the player freezes there for about 2-3 seconds with a terrible "grrrrrrr" sound. I tried cutting out different portions of the video but still I have the same problem.

I tried the video in Crystal Player. What happens then is when the video reaches the 2nd last frame, Crystal stops the video and skips to the next in the playlist.

Any idea?

The DIO's RealProducer GUI(DRG) is another choice
because DRG is very simple for use and stable function
Now DRG supports RealProducer Plus 11

I took a look on it, but it was in chinese language. It becomes hard even to test it. They don't have it in english?

Thank you very much, but that version of DRG is the same that I have. Unfortunately, there isn't english.lng (or in another words, the file "english.lng" is empty). If the developer maybe translate the *.ini file, I believe it will be enough, if that changes the label of the buttons. So simple and so complicated.
Otherwise the ERP is newer than mine and I'm already using it :thanks:

Could you help me in one question that I still didn't find the answer?
Supose you are encoding in the ERP and it was almost finishing (for example 99,6%) and suddenly occur a blackout. That "temp_7WN1QzgPCEWtevWRkr-eRA==.tmp" generated, can I recover it? I mean: how to convert it in *.rmvb? Considering that practically the whole file was encoded?

P.S.: Forigive my poor english and my stupid question.

i had that once and just renamed the .temp to .rmvb and it worked.

I had the same question sometimes so I changed the ext name from .temp to .rmvb,it worked normally

It installs but I get black screen in the place were u can drag and drop files ...
And when I try to add a file it freezes....


To tell u the truth if you know any rmvb encoder that will run under wine u can also tell me ...

It is really irritaiting that there is no such software GNU/linux native :(

hi ... i am a new easy realmedia proucer v1.93 user and i need help. Some of the avi files i tried to convert seems to fail and the error in the log says:- 8107 Neither uncompressed audio or video was available in DirectShow Reader. what does that mean and how do i overcome this problem?? please help .....

If somebody also would wish for it to work in emulation under GNU/Linux please visit this site , register and vote for it .... The apps that have most votes are faster being checked for compatibility and bugs ... and maybe with new wine version ERMP will work ...

ERMP is a GUI that use Helix Producer which use DShow codecs. Do DShow codecs work on wine?

Dshow and DirectX are emulated by WINE ... so WINE already has them ... offcorse it's not 100% compatibility ...
As for installing it I didn't try that , but they say on WINE site that directX dll cannot be used instead of those that wine already has .

As for REalproducer it is also present on WINE site ... I know that ermp is a GUI for it , but ERMP atleast installs ans runs , so maybe it will be easier to fix for them...
I also tried realanime (3.2 outdated):) under WINE ... and unfortunatly the encode buton is not present (maybe becouse the program says I got less then pentium iii and less then 256mb ram... ) ... heh I really got 256mb and athlon1,8 ... but I must say that realanime is the closest to run , becouse every other option then encode works :P and the prog itself does not crush...

RealaniemLE uses H264 ... It is an alternative to realmedia ... and some people say it's good ... I 'll give it a try and look for soem encoding software for linux that uses it .

I am totally new to Doom9 and want to compress some of the *.avi, *.dat & *.mpg file to *.rmvb format even I have downloaded the New version (ERMP_fullV1.93) and installed successfully in my computer.

Can any1 tell how it work. I mean' how to add the file and from where to start the Procedure.

I am a big fan of this tool, but VSFilter and RealMediaSplitter coming with ermp_fullV1.94.exe are a bit too old, aren't they? Plus, non-Unicode builds are installed even for Windows2000+. Or is this on purpose? (in some cases older versions would be surely better than newer ones...)
