Just for fun,
I installed the BeLight-0.22_RC1.exe.
Dropped enc_aacplus.dll from latest Winamp install.
And guess what?
Everything is working.
Testclip ac3 5.1 file.
The only downside, I cant stop encoding with the stop button.
Had to kill Belight and stop Besweet via taskmanager.
The last beta works ok....
Foobar....ok
BeHappy...ok (What a mess to setup this GUI )

Yes I can confirm, BeLight work with latest enc_aacplus.dll (but not BeHappy).
BTW my file (downloaded today in winamp557_full_emusic-7plus_es-us.exe) is:
18/12/2009 01:31 912.896 enc_aacplus.dll
and not the robbynaish file:
05/02/2010 15:24 517 KB enc_aacplus.dll
Maybe you need also msvcr90.dll (winamp folder)

Your folder is exact to mine but my file 'enc_aacplus.dll' is older.
I think the problem is the enc_aacplus.dll, the last Winamp v5.57 CT libraries don't work also with BeHappy enc_aacPlus.exe (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1357157#post1357157) (equivalent to enhAacPlusEnc.exe here)
Kurtnoise is working on a new version of enc_aacPlus.exe (MeGUI, BeHappy) but I don't know if he want make a new version for enhAacPlusEnc.exe.
You can search a old enc_aacplus.dll or use NeroAacEnc.
I found a version dated 21/11/2008.... again same error :confused:
Really i tried to change nearly all :(
Thanks again
Ale

@robbynaish:
From your first post
I copied enhAacPlusEnc.exe and enc_aacplus.dll in Belight directory
You dont have to copy any enhAacPlusEnc.exe to your BeLight folder!
It comes with the BeLight installer.
Where did you get i from?
Just copy enc_aacplus.dll from your winamp\plugin to Belight folder and you should be fine.
BTW, which OS are you using?
From the screenshots I guess WinXp.
Edit: I think i've found the bug.
It only happens when you use HE AAC HIGH Format
Just use LC AAC or HE AAC.
Or use Nero Encoder, it's free and better...
Or drop the gui and search for another one.
MeGui can do it
Foobar can do it
Eac3to can do it
and many more...

Hi, Kurtnoise
Previously, I there was had success in audio conversion, with this program, and it is an computer AMD Athlon XP 1.100 MHz. I downloaded the installer in your site http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/BeLight-0.22_RC1.exe (http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/BeLight-0.22_RC1.exe), and appropriate executable files (BeSplit and SoX). Now, I have also replace for the latest indicated library "bsn.dll". After install some packs .NET Framework, strangely, any audio dropped for the conversions tasks, stayed freezed in conversions, and became '0 bytes', leaving invalid the audio file. And another thing is that the time remaining, stayed freezed in "1 second". I have saw, in this thread, that is necessary to have instructions 'SSE2' to can use the program. I have tested with an Intel Dual Core, and the freezing noticed, have continued. Now I have an AMD Sempron socket AM3 with all SSE instructions (until SSE4a), and is AMD64 (supports both 32 and 64 bits), running an xp SP3 32 bits, and I get the same problem. Could you indicate an solution, or correct this to the program?
I thank reply.

Bonjour! Merci pour la programme!
Could you please explain the following errors in 0.22 RC1.
1) When converting to AAC: "bsn.dll missing" when it is actually there.
2) When transcoding MP3s: "(command line) doesn't exist".
3) I used several profiles of Nero to transcode a few regular MP3 files to AAC but the resulting files were mere noise. AC3 converts to AAC fine.

From Videohelp.com comments:
Things go wrong if you drag and drop to open (as oppose to using the File Menu/Add Files). It will prevent the commands from updating when you set any options.
Basically, it's just a good idea to check the command line before clicking 'go' to make sure it jives with the options you really want -- which sort of defeats the purpose of a GUI.
This is basically my own experience with Belight.
I do use it frequently, and it is a pity that Kurtnoise obviously abandoned his baby...:(
But after exchanging a couple of files in the Belight folder, it does still work nicely.
If you get bsn errors it is a good idea to replace bsn.dll with the latest version 20070513. Also Aften should be replaced with the latest Kurtnoise version.
I cannot reproduce MP3 conversion problems. I did update lameenc.dll with a newer version, though.

I cannot believe that updating .Net Framework affects Belight in any way. Just make sure to not use Drag and Drop to add files to Belight.
Also SSE2 is not required for Belight. My machine has an old Celeron Coppermine CPU which supports MMX and SSE, but nothing above that. And Belight never gave me any problems related to CPU capabilities.
For converting files to AAC I found that the only reliable method for Belight is to use the Nero encoder. FAAC kind of works too, but the resulting files only play in VLC, not in MPC-HC. And using enc_aacplus.dll from WinAmp never worked for me.
Anyways, I uploaded a Zip file with a working Belight folder to Sendspace. Get it here:

Hi, manolito
Thank you for indicate a solution for the problem noticed, and for have done upload an BeLight with complete .dlls and updated. I had forgotten the detail of drag and drop is the causes of the mentioned problem happen. I also have tested it with the BeLight Installer.
Edit: The file link repassed by the manolito has expired. The new file link, this including the original file of the manolito (.zip - with updated .dlls, the file configurations and the executables), the executable files, the installer of the BeLight 0.22 RC1 and instructions are shared at:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2P9tmmpSwF-VHRCRXN2T2RvUzA/edit (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2P9tmmpSwF-VHRCRXN2T2RvUzA/edit) (don't expires from this sharing site).
Edit [2]: After that I've recently noticed a "false-alert" (false-positive) from the Google Drive AV Engines, then I've decided once again to upload the shared files from an another reliable sharing site, and at the moment, I could only find the DropBox for while, as it has the life time of the shared files the sufficient for to share files in a Forum. Here is the new link, until Google Drive fix this issue of "false-positive virus":
https://www.dropbox.com/s/v510sri193ymp7z/BeLight-0.22_RC1_%28Installer_and_executable_files%29.zip?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/v510sri193ymp7z/BeLight-0.22_RC1_%28Installer_and_executable_files%29.zip?dl=0)
Note: I also did some checkings from my backups saved in another sharing site (this link that is not being shared here), and comparing the MD5SUMS, the result is that the files are identical, according to "Quick Hash GUI (http://sourceforge.net/projects/quickhash/files/?source=navbar)" software, then, there is not any motive for worry (the online Backup was never edited at that pĺace, and also in Google Drive folder). Only recently some Antivirus are accusing some infection, but a majority of Companies of Solutions of Antivirus at the site of the VirusTotal.com (https://www.virustotal.com/en/) have alerted that the file is reliable, and really, the file doesn't have any infection. I've never noticed any people that might have altered the file, as I also have checked with a copy on my pendrive, and I've not noticed that any people that possibly have accessed my e-mail, or altered the file at Google Drive (thus as I did some checks in the historic of accesses of my e-mail), since the initial upload doesn't have any date of alteration, or suspicious date generated in some alteration, as can be noticed in date that the file was uploaded to the Google Drive. Only recently the VirusTotal.com (https://www.virustotal.com/en/) site has some AV Engines creating some "false-positive" alert.
Thank you very much,
L.H.V.F. .
